[Q]Samsung Galaxy S Plus I0091 error

Hello everyone,
So today I was searching on the internet for a 4.0 android version for my Samsung galaxy S plus. I found a website and it said I first had to flash Clockworkmod recovery on my phone, so I followed the instructions and then had one huge problem. When I now turn on my phone, the only thing I see is a phone icon--> Orange sign-->Computer icon. I really dont know what to do now.
I can't post the link of the site where I got it from but it's called: androidauthority.com
I hope you guys/girls can help me out,
Regards, Lars.

can you get into download mode if so go to samfirmwares.com and flash the stock rom for your phone through odin it is all on this site what you need then i would recommend coming back here and searching for your phone and using one of these guides to root your phone i have never had a problem with these guides good luck
Opppss.. Soft brick.
1. Sign up to Sammobile.com and download a I9001 software. Only I9001
2. Access Download Mode via HButton+volume Down+Power Button
3.Find I9001 Odin in i9001's forum in XDA
and what to do.....
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
I9001 error
When You unbrick Your phone I can let You touched recoveryTWRP 2.5.0.0 ariesve from 21.04.2013, which has fix bugs for our I9001.

[GT P5100]How to upgrade

Hi,
I own a GT P5100 running 4.0.3 android.
I had rooted it with the help of a thread on this forum.
Now, when I connect to Wifi, the Tab downloads JB update...but it is unable to install that update.
Can u tell me the reason?
Also, is there any newer update [official or unofficial] than JB?
How can I upgrade to it?
I'm fairly new to this rooting/flashing etc.
Thanks for ur help
temember that JB is 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 recently an update show up (in france) the 4.2.2 JB, this is (and will be) the last update for the tab,
im not an expert but maybe you can't update because the root, if you want to update you may unroot or use ODIN (but will not be root after the update, unless you port the root with an app)
thx for ur reply...
So whr can I find the latest update?
And how to go about UNRooting -> Updating -> ROOTing ?

As fabrihn said earlier 4.2.2 is the last update for galaxy tab 2 from samsung , but you can always flash custom roms like cyanogenmod to get the newest android versions (p.s. cyanogenmod 10.2 gives you the andoid 4.3 version ).
And to port root the best app is MOBILE ODIN PRO !!! It is actually a mobile version of the odin software and with it you can directly flash files from your mobile .It gives the option to root your new firmware while it is being flashed.

thanks kunjcool :good:
techack did you read the last link i let you? in there there is also a way to root after upgrade even over 4.2.2, and as kunjcool say there are also custom rooms that you can flash, in the http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1602 (android development section)
Thanks for your reply.
I have installed Cyanogen Mod 10.1 ... android 4.2.2
however when I connect my tab to PC, it doesnt get displayed as "Removable Storage"
Is it due to installing ADB Universal driver?
How can I correct it?
Also, when I POWER ON the device, the screen displays distorted colours and then starts up with CYANOGEN Logo...Is it possible to correct it as well?
That is happening because you haven't enabled USB DEBUGGING on your device. To do so you have to Go to developer settings, but by default it is hidden, to use DEVELOPER SETTINGS
Go to SETTINGS
ABOUT TABLET
and click BUILT NUMBER 7 times to unhide DEVELOPER SETTINGS option. Now you are done
And yes for the boot screen logo either use custom boot screen logo zip file and replace with original or try reading the forum post of that ROM which you are using and ask there.
Hope that was helpful to you.

[Completed] [Q] Can anyone help me to download android stock "Downloads" app?

Hi! My device is rooted and I uninstall android stock "Downloads" app. Can I find Downloads.apk and re-install it?
Hi,
We need to know your device make and model number to point you towards help.
Thanks!
CyanogenMod 11 KitKat 4.4.4 on Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini.
Well, Best to ask in the rom thread in that case. But, just flashing the rom again, without wiping anything, will replace it. ?

[Completed] Help with Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Straight Talk SM-S820L

Hi sorry to ask such noob questions but I have just purchased my first Samsung device the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime SM-S820L Straight Talk and I am trying to figure out how to create or get a copy of a stock recovery image it is my understanding that this model is fairly new so there is not much around specific to his model of phone and I have only manged to find a handful of posts on this device, what I need to do is make a stock recovery img then root then install xposed framework so that I can change the "Rom Status" on my phone back to "official" after root changes it to "custom" so that I can still recieve the OTA lollipop update when it is sent out, but to do this I need a recovery first in case any issues arrive any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I have been researching this whole thing for days to no avail and would really like to get this done, thanks so much for your help in advance and again sorry for the noobish post.

Hello,
This forum is for newbies finding their way around XDA Developers, it isn't a development section.
Also there is no custom recovery yet for your device.
You may keep a watch here Miscellaneous Android Development for development related to your device. Also we would recommend to not installing other device's recovery into yours. You may end in unexpected troubles.
