you can simply flash it via flash tool and then flash it's zip via recovery
and cm recovery still In early stage but it going good
David..why didn't you use the normal cwm recovery until cyanogen gets better?

depending on my tester
that happen after reboot
in somehow that have relation with audio
without that soft reboot Audio won't work
but it's not that bad right ?
i was on other lollipop rom with tz9 kernel. flashed this rom, flashed tz8. now im stuck on thunderzap screen :/

Tried 3 gapps package 2 installed successfully but Google play service stooped always. Used titanium backup to restore gmail and all it said the Google play service u rely on doesn't support in your device...and third gapps package was installing but stopped due to low system memory ...... I m kinda liking both the ROM its really like I m using an advance device ..,....

abot some issue
great rom everything is fine but there is some issues i noticed .. 1_ phone. get badly hot ......bigger heateing problem. 2_ loud speaker dosent work in call. 3__ system ui stopes working many timeand phone get hanged many time . so plz solve those issue and thank you for creating a great rom

Download flashable zip format super su and flash it from the recovery, do cache and dakvik clear and restart.

Its working just flash it once again the sensor fix zip it will do the work.

For me I did this in steps
1. Flash the carbon ROM.
2. Then Google apps.
3. Then light fix.
4. Then sensor fix.
5. Flashing the super su.
Make sure to do wipe chache and dalvik after each n every step then reboot your device.

Thank you for a very solid build. Good battery life, almost no bugs, except Camera related. All camera apps crash or don't have access to camera, until a reboot.
Happens only on your rom on my Mi4w. Please, address this issue, I am here for help and testing.
And the last thing is as this device doesn't have nfc, I had to use nfc remover script.

Which recovery are you using?
done it ...... thank good i flash recovery image through flashy.apk at all i flash whole mi4 to stock and then flash kernel twrp with adb command and then installed done ......

in the download link provided there is an unofficial v1.0 build.
The latest build is official though it is just marked as unofficial. It will be changed I later builds

the otus variant of aokp runs great...have not come across any bugs or glitches so far.
********* But as a notice to any other otus users that chooses to install a custom kernel with this rom " Do not " custom kernel ( Leno or Inazuma ) are not yet compatible with this rom....they cause many errors such as no recent app , no lockscreen , no hotspot and more that i could not logcat them all. it would be best to wait for those kernels to update to see if they will work.
Overall @Vatsal this rom works fine , very smooth but it seems it might be heavy on the battery life.....i will continue to monitor (full day) it and compare it to the other rom that i use as my daily driver.

Mine is an xt1505 usually anything that works for 1506 works on my 1505....i find that weird that it bootloops......please try re-downloading the rom once again without downloading anything else because sometimes users report bootloops or failed installation and turnes out that its due to a bad download.
dont forget to do a complete wipe before installing ( except your external sd card of course ) and also with no custom custom kernel as i stated before.
eveything works fine on my xt1521.

Updating from older version :
Use ota updater to download the latest version of rom and/or dirty flash it
Clean Install :
Download zip and please use the TWRP recovery from this thread.
Do simple wipe (Factory reset) by using TWRP recovery.
Don't do advance wipe
Then flash the Pac zip file.
Go back and select opengapps zip and flash it.
Then go to wipe and do factory reset.
Reboot and enjoy.

FOR GOD'S SAKE, MAN! I'm fed enough with this. What's the problem? Why is UI so slow? Why does any rom except stock based are so slow? You should rebuild your sources. Your CM11 and CM13 are like this as well.
Look, I know Adreno 203 is not that powerful, but come on. How can Samsung handle this when you can't?
Maybe you should reconsider using GT-I8552's sources. At least the graphical one.
Also, music stutters on CM11. Governors are buggy when asleep.

Hey have u try build kernel with this https://github.com/ali-filth/android_kernel_samsung_msm7x27a?files=1 kernel source branch cm-11.0? This kernel is design to galaxy core device taken from samsungopensource for gt i826x (not core duos variant) maybe it can be done for Bluetooth and other known issue, and try to compile with GCC 4.7 to avoid random reboot

This IS for galaxy core duos 18262
I dont have my stock rom and my i8262 does not connects to pc. And I wanba install stock rom.so can anyone plz provide nandroid backup for me so I can restrore it from twrp.
This is way more buggy than normal CM13. I HAD to restore to Cosmic ROM because my contacts are gone.
