Hi,
I got into a frustrating situation, I installed Oneplus OTA update after that phone is stuck in bootloop, only thing I can access is fastboot, after reading many articles, I found that unlocking bootloader can fix my problem.
But unlocking bootloader has become worst nightmare in OnePlus one, when I run # sudo fastboot oem unlock, it will reboot phone and goes into 1+ logo, then I reboot the phone again boot into bootloader and situation is still the same bootloader is still locked.
I also tried OnePlus toolkit, onplus toolbox and oneplus tool for linux, nothing is unlocking the bootloader.
Phone is not enabled for adb (debugging mode).
adb shows "offline" mode while phone in bootloop logo.
is there any way I can atleast force the phone to unlock boot, any help is appreciated?
I am a linux user, but I aslo tried in windows, samething.
Thanks
I think you need to sit down and re-read the guide on how to unlock your bootloader because you're not having a good understanding on what you're supposed to do.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2788632 Read that thread and adjust accordingly to Linux unless you do it on a Windows-based machine.

Hi,
Thanks for reply, I have followed the complete guide to unlock bootloader, I updated the android sdk to the latest with android drivers.
Find the attachment how I have done that, but still the bootloader is locked.
In device status it shows that device temperted: true, is there any way I can change that to false using fastboot command?,
maybe that is the thing preventing me to unlock the bootloader.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks
Dani
I only used 15 second adb installer on my PC for adb drivers. That way I don't copy paste files into SDK folder.
Anyways fastboot OEM device-info gives back tamper true and what is the other flag?
Make sure u don't put in typo like your op "ulock" lol fastboot OEM unlock should bring up wipe options on your phone :s

Hi ek,
screen shots are attached with the reply to zephiK's message (all flags can been seen), however, fastboot oem unlock doesnt bring me wipe option (though I am ok to wipe).
Dani
After the fastboot OEM unlock command look at the phone, that is where the wipe stuff appears. Or it should.

Hi
I've had some hard time trying to unlock my GT-I9060I's bootloader (so I can install unsigned custom ROMs) but I didn't succeed.
Thins I've tried so far:
Installed Android SDK
Installed ADB and Fastboot drivers
Changed the android driver to Android Bootloader Interface
The problem seems to either be my computer not recognizing the phone in fastboot mode or simply my phone not booting in fastboot mode (even though
HTML:
adb reboot bootloader
rebooted my phone)
How can I unlock my bootloader?

Hello, I've searched and searched and can't seem to figure it out but for some reason I can run adb commands within the OS but can't run fastboot commands. Says waiting for device. Yes USB debugging is enabled and oem unlock is to. Running windows 10 with minimal adb and fastboot. The device is running Android 6.0 and the bootloader says ftp locked. Please help I'm trying to unlock the bootloader via my unlock code.
Reinstall the adb drivers
Try a with a windows 7 PC
Sorry for the late response but I had to use Ubuntu to do it must be something with windows 10. All is well now, thanks everyone.
Windows 10 doesn't work well with adb or fastboot
my device is just not showing up on fastboot devices command but ADB is working fine. i tried plenty of drivers but i still can't get it to be detected.
i don't care about my data. in-fact i want to wipe this device completely, flash twrp and install stock android 6.0.
i don't know which specific driver or files i need in order to get my device detected and unlock its bootloader. any help is appreciated. thank you!
Hello, my device is J7 2016 (SM-J710FQ) I installed twrp through odin and flashed custom ROMs but I didn't unlock the bootloader and I need to unlock now but since I use custom rom there is no "OEM Unlocking" option in developer options. I followed some guides and threads but I couldn't make it.
Here is what I did:
-Installed latest drivers for my phone
-Installed adb and fastboot
-Installed adb and fastboot drivers but I cannot change the driver. My phone is detected as "Samsung Mobile USB Composite Device" in fastboot and when I try to use the "Android Bootloader Interface" driver an incompatibility error occurs and driver doesn't change.
-My computer has Windows 10 in one disk, Mac OS in one disk and Windows 7 as virtual machine. I will install ubuntu alongside Mac OS.
Please help me to unlock bootloader / use fastboot

You already unlocked your bootloader by enabling the OEM Unlocking option. If you hadn't unlocked your bootloader, you wouldn't have flashed twrp and custom roms. Why do you want to reunlock it again?
