I tried flashing cwm for my xpeira e [ single sim] with instructions from this thread.
I have used fastboot before for other devices so i'm sure that it's working.
I'm facing the following errors..

Thank you, kindly someone assist..
I'm trying this for a while, and it should not be this difficult compared to other devices.

unlock your bootloader and try it should work

Looks already unlocked...

I figured it out,
Looks like this wasn't working on the old firmware.
I reflashed using sony's offical flash tool and fastboot to the latest firmware.
the .33 and then tried this via fastboot.
It worked then..
Successfully now on Cm10
Thank you

You need to start over, repartition, but for the zImage, use the stock kernel.
After you reboot, you need to flash the voodoo kernel.
Please read some of the stickies about flashing ROMs, or follow the original post's instructions if flashing a custom ROM. Your thread would be helped by understanding where you started and where you are wanting to end up.
The one-click sticky in this forum may help you.
I've asked a mod to move this to the Q&A section, where this kind of question better belongs.

What is init.d ?
Init.d is a feature which allows you to run brunch of scripts at boot . Thats really useful while you want to set values which reset at boot or run/do any thing at every boot or install tweaks.
you need a cmw for S7582
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2723607
and just download attached file and flash with recovery
Now you have init.d support !

Hello
I've decided to build an unofficial build of Euphoria OS, because there wasn't build since 22 Feb.
This is build from Euphoria-OS-Legacy.
Note: I can't fix any issues or add any stuff, i am just a beginner-builder. Also, dont send bugreports to official threads.
All credits to Euphoria-OS Team.

Cant install lineage-18.1 using twrp

Hello,
I'm stuck at installing lineage-18.1-20210417-UNOFFICIAL-sumire.zip.
I'm using a Sony Xperia Z5 (the normal one, not premium not compact or else) and I am pretty sure that one is the E6653 model.
But twrp is giving me this error (see attached picture):
{

}
"E3004: This package is for device: E6603, E6633, E6653 (which i do have), E6683, sumire, sumire_dsds; this device is ."
It's also strange how it can't tell what my device is as it simply says "this device is .".
Any ideas how to solve this problem?
Hey! Unless you are pretty sure that this package is indeed made for your model, I suggest don't try to flash it. If you are sure and stuck with the error, there is a way to bypass this here.

Thank you.
I was temped to do exactly that. but since this is risky i continued to search for solutions.
And luckily i found out that the verion of TWRP i used was too old. It was 3.0. something.
But there are no official versions for Xperia Z5 so i had to search again.
I found this one:
[TWRP][3.2.1-0][UNOFFICIAL] (Sumire)
Team Win Recovery Project for Sony Xperia Z5 (Sumire) REQUIREMENT: - Unlocked bootloader FEATURES: - MTP support - USB OTG storage support - Covers most partitions for nandroid backups - ADB root Not working: - Decryption of the sections...
forum.xda-developers.com
Installing it with fastboot made it work.
And after that i could install lineage and gapps like usual.
