Hi
I am looking for another Asus TF600T-1B028R charging cable and can not seem to find the USB to 36pin cable anywhere to buy.
The pad was bought from overclockers, here is the item link http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=TB-000-AS&groupid=959&catid=1882
Now I am stuck with a machine I can not charge as the original cable is lost and I don't know how else it can be charged up.
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Ricco

I'm using the Onn brand sold at Wal-Mart. I haven't had an issue with it at all. I got mine at a local goodwill. It comes with the main adapter and an adapter for Samsung devices. It also can charge the device at the same time.
I found this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/help/mhl-to-hdmi-adapter-t2801885
Seems like the HDMI adapter situation is a total mess. The MHL standard is a joke, because apparently no one bloody follows it correctly.
Unfortunately i live in Europe. So i can not go to Walmart and grab it.
And yes it is really messed up I can not be sure if the product i wanna buy is gonna be compatible.
Any MHL3 works.
Is there an MHL adapter that will work without needing to be plugged in to a power source? I just bought one off Amazon, but it certainly didn't work without being plugged in to power....
Does anyone know whether there is a MHL-to-HDMI adaptor for Huawei Honor/Mediapad X2? I've googled it and thereare a couple of web sites selling it but there is nowhere feedbacks about quality/feasibility...

Are you sure Mediapad X2 is supporting MHL? I have some doubts... http://www.mhltech.org/ says NO...

Without previously reading any documentation of any sort I tried with an adapter I have at home. I tried with the 11 and the 5 pin adapters, with and without AC plugged to the converter module. It just didn't work.

Same here. MHL is not supported on the X2 even though it worked on the X1, which is a pity.

I've tried the MHL adapter that came with my S7 Edge and it's working fine on my X2, it recognizes and reads the USB memory stick without problem.
Are you talking about OTG or MHL? The former is an USB host to connect device... the latter is something to mirror phone screen through HDMI... Am I right?
Yes, you are right. OTG is working, MHL is not...

Instead of MHL I'm using the Multiscreen for mirroring its working perfect.
The MHL is not working but the screen mirroring in Chrome Cast works just fine for X2.

I have not tried one but my friend has a LG V10 and we went a brought a mhl cable adapter hooked it up and it did the same as the x2. So we did some research and found that a slim port adapter is wjat was needed to get the video out of the LG V10. So I was wondering has anyone tried a slim port adapter to play video over hdmi on a x2?

Thank you @kevin_23 ! Can't wait to see what Android 10 desktop mode will look like on LG phones !
Hi Kevin_23, thanks for sharing your findings on the LG V50. I have a South Korea model of the LG V50 phone that I've tried to connect to a HDMI monitor but to no avail. The best results I have achieved are with this RAVPower USB C to HDMI cable. I have experienced intermittent flickering on the signal to the monitor. This cable worked fine with my older Samsung Galaxy S8. What in your opinion is causing this problem?
Best regards
Neil
I can confirm it is working with Huawei CP76 easy projector cable. Usbc 3.1 with 5Gbps hdmi cable. But power delivery didn't worked on my LG TV, but was working on another TV when I bought the cable. Weird... Does also the TV need to support power delivery?
