I have been searching for the last hour or so. Is there not a single DEV that has put a rooted stock 2.2 rom out ?
If not, is it possible to do so ?
I don't mean to be unthankful or anything - i just want simplicity as well as root.
Please advise,
Hi Smirge!
1st) This is the wrong section to post this kind of request!
2nd) If you had searched the right section, you'd have found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=741775
3rd) Why do you have "Stock rooted FroYo ROM" on your signature, when this is exactly what you are searching for ??? :-S
Silver
1) i believe i made the post in ROm section - don't know how it got moved (or i simply clicked the wrong forum) - if it's my bad - then sorry
2) i did not find that ROM before. Don't know how you did but thank you!
You're welcome!
1st i want to say sorry co'z i made a new thread i cant help it ^^ ...
good day to all this is my 1st time to use this phone i bought this from a friend the unit is already cynogen mod 2.2 but i want to try the froyo version which is 2.2.1 because i encountered a lot of fc in my version
any sugestion ow to make start what file i need what thing 1st to do...
things to xda and to the person will guide me here
If you want to learn about installing roms read "Beginners GUIDE:Rooting a HTC Dream(T-Mobile G1) and Installing CYANOGENMOD 6 (FROYO)"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=727688
As you already have an old Cyanogen rom, your phone is already rooted, so you can skip the 1st part of the guide (you may want to read it anyway for a better understanding of what was already done on your device).
Once you select the rom you want to flash, you can post your questions on installing that rom in that rom's thread.
Happy flashing!

Usually NOT (changing your rom doesn't unroot your phone).... and this is the development section! Next time post in the question and answer section and we're all happy.
Greets
I´m using Lestatious Rom.
I like it, but I want to try another custom rom.
The good thing with Lestatious: I can update without losing my apps and preferences.
Is there another custom rom which has this ability? (I know that titanium backup exists, but I don´t like it - it failed to often for a complete backup/restore).
Instead of posting a new thread you could have just seen the update method of custom rom of ur choice...well there is none except lestatious....

hey guys
so i have this old wt19i which is rooted but i never bothered to install a custom rom,i stopped using it after a while and bought a simple nokia phone as my main phone.the reason was battery life.
now i want to start using it again but i dont know what custom rom i should install.i wont even insert a sim and plan on using it solely as a gba emulator.
since its an old phone i cant find which custom rom is best for maximum battery life.
i got SU access and stock rom.can i just pick a rom and install it?
i would not ask this question but since its an old phone i cannot find what rom is best.all threads are from 2012
what rom would you suggest for this wt19i?
