hello guys i'm trying to go back to stock im on tmobile usa
but the thread if [ROM]Shipped Pyramid ROM
has two version of tmous and i dont know witch one is newest
RUU_Pyramid_TMOUS_1.27.531.2_Radio_10.42.9007.00P_ 10.11.9007.15_M_release_192098_signed
or
RUU_Pyramid_TMOUS_1.29.531.2_Radio_10.42.9007.00P_ 10.11.9007.15_M_release_193714_signed
and do i need to flash the stock radio or it already comes with the rom?
now i see some people are having new update
my friend from tmous is testing a sensation with the update. he said it dont have 2.3.5+
that the update is just to have better battery life and gps lock faster.
ok i know i need to be stock and maybe not rooted to get this update, but im concern of losing my s-off root
and cant root back
1.29 Is the correct Ruu, after flashing, the phone will boot up then check for update. After you install the update you will be on 2.3.4.
You will loose root but keep s-off. Just reroot, it's easy once you have s-off.

The one you should run is the 1.29 and it already comes with the radio included.
You will loose recovery and root but will keep s-off and your phone will be 100% stock and ready to accept whatever updates are available.

the rom update utility cannot update your android phone.
please get the correct rom update utility and try again.
i download the RUU_Pyramid_TMOUS_1.29.531.2_Radio_10.42.9007.00P_ 10.11.9007.15_M_release_193714_signed
What are ROM do you have on your phone before running the RUU? Do you have a Nandroid backup from before you flashed something custom? I had a similar error occur when I tried to run the RUU when I was running one of the 1.78 leaks, I had to restore my Nandroid from before I flashed the 1.78 leak and then the RUU worked.
Can i just run the RUU.exe without doing the CID on adb? I just want to confirm because I have read on the other thread that I have to run CID on adb before i run the RUU.exe from my computer in order to revert back to stock tmous rom.
disregard ---------
So which is current 2.3.4 or 2.3.5?
I've rooted my phone (HTC Sensation XE) and turned it to S-Off. I am running stock ROM and the instructions from the thread that I rooted it from says that I still need to flash stock ROM to unroot and remove Clockwork and Hboot, or I could brick it. The problem is, the RUU that I need is not availble for download (1.73.401.4). Would I be able to download a RUU with the same baseband number but instead of 1.73.401.4, say 1.73.401.2?
I really want my phone back to the way it was and if that other RUU decides to fail on me, would I be able to still unroot without flashing stock ROM? I know there's a risk with doing that and if you know, how big is it? Any help is appreciated and it would be awesome if you could link to the stock RUU (1.73.401.4 and 10.58.9035.00U_10.15.9035.02_2 baseband number)
hey guys i want to return my phone to stock but it had the update already, everytime i try to flash the 1.54 ruu i get error 155, does any one have a full ruu for the new version? is there any other way to return the phone to stock
DEAR ALL
i have qustion plz reply me or give me a solution i unlocked my htc desire s and i installed jellybean 4.1.2 pac version 19.3.0 it is going smooth but now i want install the OFFICIAL RUU from htc site . i try to install but i showing error i canot install it why any body have solution if anybody friends please sent me my mail [email protected] thank you
You need to have a locked bootloader to use a RUU, you'll have to re-lock it. The stock ICS rom is not bug-free, so you might want to flash an older RUU.
If you didn't unlock your phone through htcdev, don't flash the stock ICS RUU as afterwards the only options for modifying your phone are via htcdev unlock (you can't temproot).
If it got stuck on HTC Logo bootscreen after you tried to flash the official RUU and you can get into bootloader i suggest you try this thread
