I am a stock rooted core i8262 user. I tried to install TWRP via ODIN. It was successful. But when I checked my recovery , it is still stock! My phone boots fine! What to do?
Try to uncheck Auto-Reboot on ODIN..

To install CWM or other custom recovery your device need to be rooted and maybe bootloader unlocked(not sure about bootloader unlocked required or not). so, first thing first. First device should be rooted....
i don't know about deleting "install-recovery.sh" file.
While installing custom recovery u should remove the battery at the time of system restart when odin shows PASS message.. :good:
i rooted my device and it was working properly. Then i flashed it with cwm recovery mode then i flashed it with lolicop version and it even worked Nicely.. But the superuser was not working. How did you flash cwm? With a computer or with an app on your phone like recovery tools?
First in cwm try a factory reset, if that doesn't work, factory reset and then re flash the ROM you were running.
Also please post your galaxy core specs including which android version your on, thank you.

Happened to me too, you probably need to install the stock samsung galaxy core duos android. Search for it in xda or google. Worked for me
Solved
The problem is solved now...just flashed with TWRP....and connected cable to other USB port then windows installed drivers automatically and ODIN recognised my device...just a small issue it was..now this OS is working fine..!

I was using custom ROM without taking backup of previous version and I factory reset my devise then operating system also got deleted and i stuck on CWM recovery
when i tried to install another ROM it gets successfully installed but Samsung logo comes and again CWM recovery opens
i tried a lot but same thing happens, i tried to use Odin but it is not detecting my devise
plz help me to see something on phone except recovery

That means that you're flashing incompatible software, then, as your device is unable to found a bootable boot image, it gaves up and decides to go to the recovery, to "tell you" to flash another ROM.
I moved this to the Galaxy Core forum to get more replies.
My solution would be Odin flash 100% stock, boot to make sure it boots, then Odin flash CWM and then reflash the custom ROM.

Just use TWRP. CWM doesn't work properly on Core.
