I have a galaxy s 4g (T959V) that is rooted and unlocked running CM9. I was given this site about a year ago when it was suggested I restore the factory software and reload CM9 from scratch. I am currently using Straight Talk also. All has been going well until recently. Multiple issues
1. If I receive text multiple text messages from one person.. they may not be received in the order they were sent .. sometimes messages sent to me are never received.
2. The phone randomly turns itself on and off.. it can be 1 or 2 times a day or not at all for several days.
3. The battery may indicate it needs to be plugged it and after i leave it off for a few minutes and turn it on, the phone indicates it does not need to be charged (sometime 50 plus % charge)
I am currently using my old T959 (not rooted or unlocked.. with the factory software) until i can do something with the T959V. I was never able to get the tethering, hotspot or wifi calling to work with the T959V but i do recall seeing something here or on the CM site saying that didnt work. The last two day I have been having issues with the T959 no receiving some texts also.
Any thoughts? Should I another version of CM or another OS? It would be nice to have the option of using tethering, hotspot and wifi calling.
Thanks in advance for all your help
Is the battery swollen? Place it on something flat and see if it sounds easy. Sounds like part of the problem could be that. I would suggest the cm11 that fb has out. He (and a lot of others) got it running smoothly on the old phone.

I was wondering that might be part of the problem. The newest battery appears slightly swollen but I am not using it currently. The older battery in use on T959 probably needs replaced and will be done so. Can I install cm 11 on the T959 also or should I leave that one stock? Just curious..I like having a backup in case of problems.
Thanks again
Looks like you have 4 separate issues:
1. Not receiving some texts and multiple texts being received out of order: Have no answer for this but it probably happens to everyone from time to time. Could possibly be the room in your home you happen to be in at the time.
2. Possible battery issues: See Champ1919's comments.
3. Tethering and hotspot: Both work fine with CM11 (which works wonderfully on this phone). If you choose to install this ROM please pay close attention to the flashing instructions and which Gapps file you should download and install.
4. Wi-fi calling: If you need this feature, you'll have to flash Gingerbread or any ROM based on Android 2.3.6 (such as Valhalla Black). Wi-fi calling does not work on the more advanced ROMs.

I have my T959V restored to factory setting now. I am giving up for the evening as I have been unable to get CWM from the Gapp store to get to my phone. As mentioned earlier I have both a T959 and T959V.. the playstore only acknowledged my 959 there as a my device and not the V,
I have the CM11 and the Gapp minimal on and SD card. I did copy my SD card to my pc. When I enter the samsung recovery and try to install the CM11 file, it says I do not have enough space on the SD card (16 gb card with 7.76gb free)
I will try again Monday evening and will purchase a new battery also.

ugh.. technology has not been my friend lately. (i have a windows machine that say is has no os on it and i need to reload this laptop from scratch also.. so that might be some of the issues) when i bought the T959V a little over a year ago it was rooted and unlocked. last october i was had to reload cm9. sunday night when i thought i had reload the factory software back, did that unroot the phone?
tonight i was unable to get super manager to the T959V, i did notice the apn changes at will from straight talk to tmobile. i did see the "efs" file on the sd card and copied that to my pc. superoneclick was downloaded from download.com because the link kept timing out from the xda site.
i waited 45 minutes after i clicked on root but gave up .. checking if rooted showed false. checking for shell root showed false. i did copy the report that was generated and saw several no such file or directories on that.
any thoughts?
thanks

You gotta slow down a bit first. What ROM do you currently have on your phone?
What's your issue now?
Do you have a Heimdall One Click you can use to go back to stock rooted GB?

Yes I have Heimdall One Click and used that last Sunday to go from CM 9 back to stock (unless I missed something doing that). The T959V shows GB 2.3.6. I am now attempting to go from that to CM 11. The Gapp store only acknowledged my Vibrant not the T959V which was why the Super Manager did not load on that phone.
Thanks

You need to now flash a rooted kernel with a CWM recovery. @bhundven made it easy for you by making this one click:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/teamacid/files/bhundven/Stock_KJ6_and_root-One-Click.jar/download
Just download Bryan's one click and flash your phone with it.
Reboot to recovery, then flash my latest CM11 build.
And give up on the cwm app for this phone. It's not supported. If you flash the vibrant one, you'll brick.
FB I did as you said and now have CM 11 on the phone. I just got frustrated with technology issues. I have MobileGO on a pc and used that to copy stuff from one phone to another (but have a nandroid backup also as that was on the vibrant). My calling log does show up but nothing shows up as contacts as well as no transferred text messages. Also the names of my playlist show up also but nothing is in them.
Thanks

Do you mean that none of that data got transferred or none of that (contacts, call list, etc) is not showing up after you installed CM11? You can probably transfer some of that stuff using some play store apps, you can make backups to your sd card and copy the data to your SGS4G.

I should had stated that better. The copied info (contacts, calls logs, texts, pictures music was done to a computer then transferred to the SGS4G) appeared to transfer after I installed CM 11. Currently the contacts list is empty (main thing), the playlist shows empty but the music appears in Apollo and the pictures show in gallery.
I havent CM 11 greatly yet.. but I do like the changes that were very obvious over CM 9
Thanks

Hmm, you can try exporting the contacts via the contacts app on your other phone. It'll create a vcard file that is universal. It'll work to import your contacts in CM11, I have tested this myself.
As far as the playlists, it will depend on the music player. Which player were you using before?

I did get a vcard file file and contacts all transferred to sd card and imported the the SGS4G.
The playlist is my error. I forgot when I went from SGS4G and back to the stock Vibrant that I had to recreate the playlist there also. I will try Apollo again once I can access it without the following message.. Unfortunately, Apollo has stopped. I did notice on albums over 10 tracks long the are (example on 15 track album) 15,14,13,12,11,10,1... to 9. If I am listening to an audio book and need the tracks in order, will changing the # to an alpha (a.b.c.d.e.) keep that order?
Thanks

Hmm i'm not sure about Apollo specifically but most music players will let you do sorting like you're saying, so if the files for the audiobooks you're listening to are in numeric order, then using alphabetic sorting should work for you.
Ex:
Track 01
Track 02
Track 03
should all play in order with alphabetic sorting

hi everyone
i was wondering why when i assign a specific ringtone to a contact, it doesn't work. i have flashed several different roms for my herald/wing and sometimes it works. is there a registery edit or something i have to do? i have tried saving the files into the main memory and also the storage and neither works. any ideas or should i just give up on have "devil woman" play when my wife calls.
thanks
DK
Unless something's changed with OpenTouch 6.5 from ttrans fromer OT releases there's nothing special involved. Saving ringtones to the memory card often results in the loss of the assignment.
What type of file is it you're trying to use, how large is it and have you tried encoding it as another type?

i start with an mp3 and use audio manager to trim it and save into ringtones folder. i have also used mp3 trimmer with the same results.
Have you tried MP3 ringtones supplied by anyone else?
If you want you may PM me your email address and I will send you one from my phone that I know works.

i have some RT's that i purchased a while ago and i have some midi tones too. its wierd, when i was using otv3.0 biggy all worked fine. i don't know. thanks for the offer and help
Ok, so the bought ones aren't working either I take it. Do they work when you reflash OT3?
Are you restoring from a backup or do these not work with a fresh setup?
well i kinda have ot6.5 lite tweaked the way i like, so i don't want to go back to 3.0 just for tones. i was just wondering if anyone out there had already come across this and had a reg fix or something. i guess not that many people use diff tones for diff contacts. me, i need diversity in life, plus its easier to recognize a tone than pick up the phone and look whose calling. know what i mean? i also get a kick out of watching my co-workers faces when the diff songs come up. i guess i'll just keep an eye out for a fix. throw me one if you find it first.
thanks
Well, the reason I asked if you've tried a fresh install or even going back to 3.0 is to see if it's not some corruption somewhere. I've run every ROM you've listed so far without issue. I use different ring tones for most of my contacts as well and the only times I ever had that issue was with one corrupt file and the rest were when I put the MP3s on my SDHC.
I'll keep an eye out though. I'd still try backing up (even if you just have to use a demo of Sprite Backup or something) and do a completely fresh install. If you find a solution post it up for future reference.
hmmm. i'm not sure what you men as to a fresh install. i am kinda new to all this tech, i've only had a wing for about 4 months. i have hardspl'd my wing and i hardly ever get any errors when flashing. does sprite backup keep all your rom settings? pretty much all i ever need to keep is my stuff on the mem card. what i dont understand is that i can set a tone for my main ring and that always works. something gets screwy when applied to contacts. so you keep all your tones in main memory? isn't that a mem hog?
Sprite and a couple other apps out there create a backup file of all your settings and selected or all of your files. They saved to a compressed file on either your mem card or your PC (not all apps will backup straight to the PC).
At any rate I just wanted to make sure you weren't from a backup file... to eliminate one possible source of the issue (incompatible settings saved to it from a different ROM setup or corruption).
What I mean by a fresh install is reflashing the ROM and reinstalling all your apps via their installer. No restoring from a backup file or copying files to their folders. Not trying to confuse you.
First thing I'd try now that I know a bit more would be to download a demo of a backup program and make a backup. Then I'd reflash, try setting things up far enough to test the ringtones. If they work, then just plan on reconstructing your preferred setup without using the backup to restore your settings from... if there's no change, then restore the back up and you're right back where you were before.
Does that make sense?
If you're having this problem with more than the one ROM I doubt it's just a setting error. I'd try different sound files altogether.
Specifically which ROMs are you having this problem with anyway? You might see if they've got something in common, such as the same version of sound drivers.
not confusing at all. i got what your saying. i guess i'm actually fresh installing everytime since i don't use any back-up programs. is that right? anyway what other forms of sound files would you recommend? what are you using? the versions of roms i have been using are basically every rom from Ttran's OT collection, starting with v3.0 and currently v6.5 throttlelaunch3d lite. v3.0 is the only one that the tones worked for. i will try the back-up idea you have after work today. thats a good idea. thanks
Yeah, I'd call the way you're doing it a "fresh install"... I mean by that that the system and ROM are essentially fresh and untouched. So you know there's not an old setting that might be causing the problems or a bad registry entry.
Backing up definitely makes things easier. I make a backup of my setup fairly often. Then when I want to try another I'll flash it, start setting it up, and if I need to be back with my old setup before I can finish setting up the new one, I'll backup where I am with the new setup, reflash my old ROM and restore the backup for the old setup... then I can resume working on getting the new one where I want later on.
I make my MP3 ringtones using Audacity. I generally make the mono and only 40kbps... nice and small but usually still sound good at that size. You could also try a WAV file.
I haven't used OT 3, but I've tried all the rest, not just the lite ROMs either. I haven't had any trouble. My offer still stands to send you one of my ringtones for you to test with if you want.
sounds good. is audacity a free? i'm gonna pm you my email and we can try a little test. maybe the stereo is the problem.
thanks
Email sent.
I doubt the stereo is the issue, although file size, bit rate and VBR may be.
Audacity is free. It takes a little getting used to, but there are how-to's on the net, just Google it. It's NOT as user friendly as some apps, but it is generally better than more of the dumbed down apps.

I have owned my d incredible since June 2010. I rooted using the one touch enrevoked in Sept 2010. Just yesterday I tried to use my camera (i use the camera quite often) and it briefly shows the little white camera icon on the screen, but it quickly disappears to show only a completely black screen. No button or function will work beyond this point, other than if I hit the hone button. The home button takes me to the home screen. I have tried removing the battery, removing the SD card, even other apps like FD camera do not work. Nor does camcorder.
Does anyone have this problem? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Did u get to the bottom of this? I'm having exactly the same problem..
need info
Are you rooted? s-off? What rom? Have you tried to fix permissions?
Try a freshly formatted to fat32 sdcard.
If you have Rom Manager you can try the Evo camera, it is in Virtuos under Extra Goodies(is not ASOP, Sense Only afaik).
I always flash it if it's not in the rom already.
because it is all camera apps I am leaning towards the card, do any other apps FC saving to it? Voice Memo or what not. Does storing pics to internal fc it also?
It's rooted (unrevoked) and s-off (alpharev). It's a Telstra Rom ( group and sense). I rooted and s-off'd to remove all the Telstra crap. I'm tempted to do a factory restore, although that would mean reloading everything again apps, contacts, pics, txt msgs etc. Got a nand backup from s-off, will that renove the alpharev clockwork mod? Last resort would be to flash with that Telstra Rom, which should un s-off and unroot the phone. Although that feels like a sledgehammer to crack a nut solution.
Tried fix permissions, and can write to sdcard
You should do a lot more reading if you are worried about loosing stuff. Backing up is the first step of most things.
Here is what I use. I am sure there are better, this is just what I am running right now.
Do your own research. What I find as an acceptable risk in regards to access and security you may not.
For apps I use Titanium Backup then zip the folder and dropbox it weekly. I only restore the user installed apks and no data for compatibility between roms. As a fail over for TB there is AppBrain and I sync it daily.
Contacts I export them as a vcard and dropbox it, fail over is Google, FaceBook, and Evernote.
SMS I went with SMS Backup +, it pushes them up to gmail. I don't store them online anymore and use Text Secure to encrypt them locally.
Pictures I use Picasa to import and manage them on my pc and many of the online free places for fail over copies.
One other thing I recommend is use a fresh sd-card between roms.
Don't trust sd-cards!! Flash media is not a back-up, at best it is short term storage.
I have never lost unrevoked s-off or my clockwork recovery by flashing a rom, but I have never even looked at a telstra rom.
well, i unrooted my phone, removed s-off, reflahsed the stock rom, and i still have the same problem :-/
copied all the contents off the sd-card onto my PC, and just formatted the sdcard (via windows), and then copied all the contents back onto it
still same issue :-/
i dont think this is a hardware problem, definitely software, thin your right about the sdcard... any more ideas?
You sir, are a legend. decided to amount my card and try another one. camera now working.....
thank u!
Nope, gone again :-(
ACTUALLY FUNCTIONAL. Thanks to lws803 for OWNER OF ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS + me for instruction edits to make it work. NOTHANKS to KarateExplosion6 for giving NO CREDIT to us and copying thread exactly. His isn't as functional
These instructions work for both CDMA HERO from SPRINT and the HTC DROID ERIS from VERIZON
INSTRUCTIONS
1. FIRST BEFORE ANYTHING make sure you make this path/folder on your sdcard /media/Music and place all your music there or music will NOT sync. Delete Your original music app if running a non-Sense based rom.
1.5. Download the music apk here. -----> http://www.mediafire.com/?j73zh5ld7bpcbqn
2. Open the apk using Root Explorer from your phone or from your computer with winrar
3. Open the lib folder and the 'armeabi-v7a' folder and extract 'libjumper.so' to root of sdcard. If on computer put it to your desktop
4. If you used a computer connect your phone to your computer and copy the 'libjumper.so' and the music.apk file to the root of your sd card
5. Using root explorer, go to your sd card and copy the 'libjumper.so' file and paste it in your phone system/lib
6. rename your honeycomb music apk into 'Music.apk' and make sure its in the root of your sdcard
7. close root explorer and go to terminal emulator(available on Market)
8.then type
su
[enter]
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
[enter]
cp /sdcard/Music.apk /system/app
[enter]
9. Then go to root explorer again and into system>app and long press on Music.apk.
10. select permissions and make sure the check boxes have a inverted (upside down) L shaped pattern
11. close your root explorer and reboot your phone
12. You should see a bown coloured music icon on your phone's app list enjoy!
13. eMaN edit: To initiate sync go to Setting, Accounts & Sync , click on your google account and there will be options you can check and check music
14. Go to your apps and open Jumpertest app(has the music icon) then click on acounts tab, choose your gmail account, next go to the tab that has start peer, stop peer, and import media.
15. (HOW CLOUD WORKS) Ok this is the important step to initiate sync. Once following step 14 on that tab click start peer and wait 5 seconds. Next click import media and wait 5 seconds and the sync should initiate and BOOM there you have it sync may take several hours if you have a lot of music.
Also make sure in the music app u hit menu/library something/ and only stream
Make sure you tell your buddies and pals about this.
I'll try this soon, I actually wanted this for a week or so.
Looks like I'll need to nandroid first though.
EDIT: Wait, it really needs Root Explorer? Darn, I guess I finally have to break down and get it.

IMHO, root explorer is one if those apps that no rooted device should be without. Along with titanium backup. Both are excellent.

Sadly I don't have either of those apps.

im trying this now. how do I know if its syncing?
also, will i not be able to access the music files on my sd?
I couldnt find them in my music app.
[EDIT] Nevermind, I think ive got it syncing now.
I followed the steps, synced a couple of songs, deleted them from my sdcard, after that they still showed up when i pressed "only streamed" but when i try to play them it "buffers" for 2 seconds and then says "Sorry, the player does not support this type of audio file." All files are mp3s.
I have no idea why but it works for me using an Eris and this one Guy with a sprint phone. Its 5am ill look into it laterz
I tried this on CSouth Hero and it installed fine and I believe it is syncing as we speak.
Question: Does it have to completely complete syncing before music begins to show up? I'll found out soon anyways since I didn't have much music on here.
Installed fine, synced well. Thanks!!!
Guys, it's NOT syncing in the sense that it is actually uploading music to the cloud at this time. Anyone telling you different is lying. It is simulating syncing, but not actually doing it; it is syncing file indexes...that's why the titles appear even if you remove the sd card but get the error saying "cannot play this type of file".
REPEAT: it is NOT uploading to cloud yet. Don't believe anyone who says they've got it working. It's a load.
Obv., it's nigh and will be happening soon. But not yet.
I'm finding step 10 a little confusing.
Mind clearing that up a bit?
EDIT: Never mind, got it to work. Thanks.
Hello,
You may want to make it clear to all users that the permissions for both Music.apk and libjumper.so need to be set to R,W,-,R,-,-,R,-,-. Also all steps can be completed using Root Explorer without the need to use Terminal Emulator. I seemed to have the same results doing it both ways. This is a great music program but since it was designed for a tablet there seems to be issues playing music in portrait mode at least with my phone running 2.3.3. I do have a tablet but it is only running 2.1, has there been a mod released to allow this application to run in 2.1?
Cheers

I do have a tablet but it is only running 2.1, has there been a mod released to allow this application to run in 2.1?
Cheers

Works for me on aospCmod bro..lol..i say give her a whirl cuz its fairly nice
Does anyone have VIDEO proof? Last time I tried this, I wasted a whole day flashing a normal cm7 (no apps2ext) copying files to another sdcard since my card I use for my Nexus is about full, and tried to sync all weekend... Not doing that again for failure.

I have tried installing several times now trying to eliminate any variables. every time I start the app it works great unless I rotate the phone 90 degrees in album view. I can guess just don't do that but it has me baffled.

For those of you who have this working, can you take a couple of screen shots so we can see it in action?
I've seen countless threads on these 2 errors, but I just found something intriguing on my android device.
This one is a Measy U1A android stick (the ones that you connect to your TV via HDMI). A truly nice piece of hardware, but it seems to have some issues.
Since day 1 I can't install apps most of the time. Yes, *most* of the time. 80% I get the "Invalid Package file" error, another 10% of the time I get a "Package was not signed correctly", but curiously enough, a 10% of the time the packages go through and install correctly.
Of course, this gets on my nerves.
Now, I'd really want to know what's going on and I'd love some help from the true Android experts.
This is what I've already done:
Got a Log Viewer to see what was going on.
At first it said that was an error downloading (more on this later)
Then other times it said that there was no signature for X or Y file INSIDE the apk file (I remember some libraries, I was trying to install netflix on my tests)
So, I tried to tackle the download error by checking the space (df), I found that /data had few space remaining, so I cleared stuff from it. Now I have 308Mb free, more than enough to download Netflix (14Mb download). I'm talking about /data since I found out that the downloadfile-x.apk files get downloaded to /data/data/com.android.providers/downloads/cache
Tried again, nothing. Ok, so I thought that maybe there was some weird error in the /data partition. I created a directory on the sdcard portion of the stick and linked it (ln -s). Same issues. I created a directory on my external sd card and liked to it, and the same.
Now, for the weird part, and this is where I'd love some insight:
Out of 5 downloads, ES File Explorer got installed correctly, and I got a bunch of EQUALLY SIZED downloadfile-x.apk files on that directory, but NONE OF THEM HAS THE SAME MD5 SUM. Weird? Yep, but that could only mean 3 things: Either there's a problem with my wifi/network stack, or the /data, /sdcard, /mnt/extsd partitions ALL have errors in them. The 3rd option is that Perhaps Google signs every download with a different salt and that's the reason they are all different. But I DON'T THINK THE 3rd OPTION IS LOGICAL OR PRACTICAL.
Now, I don't have access to recovery here... well, I haven't tried but there's no obvious option, perhaps CWM but I don't want to risk it too much since it ran Ubuntu for a while and now that won't boot (that's another topic, unable to debug it since I can't see anything on the screen until it boots).
I've already tried:
1. Deleting Play Cache and Data, rebooting
2. Deleting Play and installing it again (it took several tries because of the same issue)
3. Factory Default and logging to my google account again
4. FIRMWARE UPGRADE (yes, I found a new firmware, it seems faster and more stable, but I still have that issue).
Now, I haven't found a memory checker or a "nand" (as you call it) checker on the app market, do these apps exist? I'd love to rule this out.
Thanks if anyone has another option, as I said, I'm out of them. The funny thing is that once the apps are installed THEY WORK FINE!!!!
Please help, I just can't spend 15 minutes to install each app that I want
I know my way around Linux, so don't be afraid to suggest crazy things :fingers-crossed:
*The only thing I still want to do is to be able to boot Linux again and perform some tests from there*
No one?

Mexico City here.
I found a firmware update, it makes the homepage icons bigger, changes the boot screen and overall feels faster. But I still have the same error.
As for the remote control, I found a vnc server that can be run on the dongle, and any vnc viewer can be used to control it.
I got a Rikkomagic III (not S, silly me), and let me say, that thing kicks the U1A over the window, performance is great but it has no bluetooth.
I'll keep trying to find a solution for my issue, as the Rikkomagic works fine.

As of now there is only one app . Remodroid which works as per requirement
you can download it from play store. you need to install in both the Dongle and cellphone . it works well.but sluggish at times
Dear helpful peoples and fellow forum-goers,
I have a ZTE z730 and I'm in need of your assistance!
Okay, for starters, whenever i install an app (from the play store) and it can be moved to the SD card, it moves it there all by itself... the problem with that is, for some unknown reason, that app will not work! It won't even open and instead force closes every time... if i try to move the app back to the phone (as soon as it's installed), it won't let me... (this, however, did work at least once...)...
The other issue I'm having is that anything, (and i mean ANYTHING) that i download or try to save to the SD card, be it from the browser, an app or even just backing up the apk file from an installed app (i use SuperToolbox+) gets corrupted... I use the app Stumbler a lot and if i download a pic or a gif off of that a notification pops up in my status bar and if i tap on it immediately and view it with the gallery or ESFile Explorer's image viewer, it is fine but it corrupts it after a short period of time...
Another example of this is when I download a video from YouTube using TubeMate... the video will get downloaded but will become corrupt and/or deleted within, say, 5 minutes! It will say that the download has finished but when I go and try to find/view the file it isn't there! (And, yes, I'm 110% positive that I'm looking in the right folder!)
I have tried factory resetting my phone and also formatting the microSD (which is fairly new and a class 10) and that fixed the problem for a day or two... but then it went back to being all wonky again... I have also tried starting my phone in safe mode and then attempting to save some images and that seemed to fix the downloading problem but not the app problem... and I'm running out of ideas...
Can anybody shed some light on what's going on or how to fix it? I've tried searching (on here and with google) for every sort of search string combinations to try and find an answer or even someone else who's also having these problems, but came up with nada... (I'll give you a list of all of the various strings I've tried if anyone is interested.) and I'll try any (serious) feasible suggestion you might have! If you need any other info than what I've posted, just let me know!
Thanks in advance for any assistance you guys might have!

Hi,
Have you try another MicroSD card to see if the issue persist on that card? If not, give a try.
If you have tried another MicroSD card and the problem still persist, might be the problem comes from your phone.
Unfortunately, i don't have another one... but i will try to borrow one from a friend of mine. I don't have to reformat the card, right?

Whelp...
I believe it's actually my SD card that is faulty...
I borrowed and old (smart)phone from a friend of mine and put the 32 GB card that was in my phone into it and when I tried to move an app to the SD card, (with my friend's permission, of course) it immediately borked that app... then I tried to install an app that I knew had installed itself to the SD card automatically on my phone (and thus corrupting it) and it (the Play store) gave me 3 different errors : First it said that the package had a bad manifest, then it said it couldn't parse the package and finally it told me that the app could not be installed to the SD card.
Being the curious little monkey that I am, I searched the market for SD card info tools and installed SD Insight. Upon running it, I find out that the manufacturer is listed as "invalid" and it records the size of the card as being 34 GB... also, the OEM/Application ID is shown as "Unknown: 0"... all of which make me highly suspicious...
I'ma gonna go do me some further research and see what the haps with this card... maybe see if I can return it... we shall see... In the meantime, thanks for your help! I'm just glad it's NOT my phone!
Can I get a mod to change the title tag to "resolved" (or what-have-you) or is this something I can do myself?
Live long and prosper all!
