1) Recharge only when off and charging access recognizes but will discharge

Hey hey guys,
I got a TF101 off a mate to fix for him and I can't seem to get any response out of it :/ I've tried the usual:
Trickle charge
Normal charge
Power button for up to a minute
Power and Volume down
Checked with a HDMI cable
Stripped it to check the screen
When I plug it into my laptop it detects it but said the drivers aren't recognised(no idea why) and ADT doesn't see it
I've one myself so I've trickle charged it(the broken one), took it apart and disconnected the battery and put it in my dock and checked the battery which is around 50%
I've pretty much run out of ideas at this point! Any help would be much appreciated
Drivers won't be recognised until you manually install Universal Naked Drivers from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1688012
And use Win 7 32bit, as it doesn't require driver signing, or with 64bit/Win8.x disable driver signing from safemode options
Then stick it in APX mode (Vol up & Power from a powered off state) and try using Easyflasher from the same thread to flash TWRP (Nothing will happen to the TF in APX mode, but the PC should sound the USB connect sound and device manager show ! unknown device / ADB Device once drivers are installed)
If you manage that, flash a ROM from TWRP
But if there is not even an ASUS EEE PAD logo appearing, there could be bigger problems
I have a stock TF700 that refuses to be recognized by my PC. I have tried multiple cables to no avail. I also updated all usb drivers for the computer usbs'. Also the pins in the connection look in order. All possible android and asus sync programs have been uninstalled as well. The tablet still charges and recognizes that it is in the keyboard dock. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Edit: The 40-pin connector was the problem the device after all. I tested another TF700 on my computer and it connected right away, so as far as I can tell the TF700 has no problems connecting to a Windows 10 PC. If you get a code 43 on a Windows device when trying to connect your TF700 it is most likely a problem with your 40-pin connection on the device.
Hi guys
I've juste fix a screen of TF300T for someone
My problem is the following
Scrren working but not the touchpad
That's not the issue
The issue is that some keys one the Asus keyboard does not working (1, backspace...)
And, the worst, whan I want to connect the tab on my PC, I got a windows message saying that it does not recognize the device
I'have tested on 3 different PCs
I think this could be the main USB dock even it the power loading is working properly
can someone help me ?
Thanks

Hey, I'm experiencing the same problem. For what ever reason my tablet is stuck in an infinite boot loop and It refuses to connect with my PC. It charges fine also. BTW is there any way to flash a recovery or firmware to the device from an sdcard?
Sent from my SPH-L900 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Finally that was effectively the USB connection wire between the mainboard and the usb dock connector
(nappe in french, don't know the english word)
It works fine now
Not sure you can flash from sd card until you don't have access to the system command.. :/
Hello,
i have a big problem with an Allview windows 10 tablet, during windows 10 reset i got a blue screen and my tablet got stuck into a boot loop restarting after windows logo appears. It didnt boot from windows usb stick that i made with rufus in multiple ways with different settings and when i was trying to get it boot from usb i accidentally disabled XHCI or EHCI from bios ,the attached keyboard does not respond, otg cable connected keyboard does not respond, touch not working.
Any solution will be greatly appreciated,
Thank you.
The only option I can suggest is to open it up, desodder the battery (as it's soldered to the motherboard). Wait for a couple of minutes (maybe even hours) and then solder the battery back in and see if the BIOS has been reset.
This may work similarly to taking out the CMOS battery and putting it back in.
I can provide you with this info as I've just stumbled upon your post having the same issue as you. I haven't yet tried this method as I don't have the tools required to desolder the battery right now but I'll post an update as soon as I can to let you know if it worked.
There's also a debug header available on the board but no resources online on how to use it.
