Isn't OmniSwitch kinda unstable? I tried it on my E when I had Carbon, it didn't work as expected at all.

lol my bad.. Haven't got time to play with build yet... flashed tested and turned off xD
Carbon has one nice feature. When you took your phone from the desk to hand it turns on.

also they merged active display.. I'm loving this feature.. There are so many features that i had to mention their website than writing about features..
Unfortunatelly some patches fail in framework and it requires re-writing them.

Problem flashing
I tried to flash che cyano from your blog but i got error 7, so i flashed the boot.img through recovery, than purple red and when i tried to go into recovery, nothing happened.. tried several times and stuck in that situation, flashed vengance kernel V2 and i saved the device but i still have the stock rom and now i have twrp installed instead of the CWM, what happened? Can someone helps me? Thx in advance
Just flash cwm recovery thru fastboot, and reflash your stock rom, if you stuck in twrp recovery, you still can back to cwm and your backup rom...

No,just a wipe cache and dalvik cache are fine
EDIT : Impossible to build for kumquat (missing a lot of codes in hardware and framework) ,and i have no time to fix everything
So,new nightly is coming
Also is impossible to add HALO,there's a difference in API
So,psx kernel has been added and more features to come !
And soon,i'll release a gold version,with a lot of tweaks and features

A reboot normally fixes this issue for me. I've had it occur on about 3 4.4.x rom's so far.

I tried that to no avail and never had this issue on any other 4.4.x rom but flashing Elemental X fixed the issue which is usually the first thing I do with other ROMS. Definitely a stock kernel issue

True I did this in one night stayed up until 3:00 am. But I am glad I finally got my first rom done and the fact it is AOKP on 4.4.2 kitkat and I plan to update it and maintain it regularly.

Why not try them all, I do everyone my name is in forum I have personally tried. x.x
Could you try mine though and tell me what you think, its since its my first rom, I would really appreciate feedback and bug reports. I am trying to break the rom myself so far on small wireless issue which should be fixed by next update.
Then choose your favorite and stick with that. Hopefully updating rom tomorrow but have to drive back home from mountains today. Will be working on it tonight guys. >.-

Well congratulations @Techinstein for bringing another Rom to our phone. I don't think most folks realize the work involved and the time it takes to accomplish this feat. It takes a lot of fortitude and courage to put forth a product that is paid for by thank yous and recognition alone. The fact that it runs and just requires minor fixing and tweaking is a testament to the dedication of the builder.
I have a few Roms ahead of this to check out but I will definitely grab the next build and check it out. I'm still putting together a check sheet for testing Roms so I can be as objective and accurate as possible.
Anyway, thanks for your hard work and helping to keep our phone on the map!
@Techinstein, I'm impressed !! It seems really stable so far. I really like the quick settings AOKP's way and the new double click volume up and down to toggle screen rotation! I will test drive it furthermore and report.

Update coming tonight, now Pure AOKP on v 0.20. No cm base on v0.20
Please share with other evita users and reccommend this rom if you like it. Mabye make a link clickable signature to all roms and all devices/roms you use for those devices even if they are not mine. I do the same.

Cool! Thanks feel free to post bugs you spot that I might not. Or if you find mods that are addable to the rom send me link and I will ask for permission. Note: If you want this to eventually be official no mods. I can keep it unofficial if you users request and continue to add approved third part mods. I plan on editing the settings UI.
@Z1cK after tonights update it should be fine to dirty flash all upcoming updates will let you know other wise. Also feel free to try Torched Kernel with it you can visit thread for Torched Kernel by click the link in the recommended section of this OP. Then download @jrior001 KitKat build for Overclocking and undercloking along with BLN (Button Light Notification) which can be enabled via Trickster Mod Kernel Settings.Of course @ all this kernel is optional. Recommended though if you want to overclock and underclock AOSP based / CM based roms.
Back your apps with - Helium play store or Titanium TI play store.
Nandroid - from TWRP if you wish.

UNOFFICIAL DooMKernel for Xperia Z1 Compact !!!
Introduction:
This is an unofficial compiled from Xperia Z1 DooMKernel's sources, the only changes I have made to the original sources are:
Adjusted defconfig for the Z1C (only what was needed for it to boot in the device, the rest is unchanged)
Compiled using Ubuntu 14.04 and using the Linaro GCC 4.9.2 toolchain with Cortex-A15 optimizations
Ramdisk adjusted for the Z1C, so you get all the goodies from the original DooMKernel
Updated PhilZ Touch recovery to v6.48.4 & CWM to v6.0.5.0 & TWRP to v2.7.1.0
Requirements:
Xperia Z1 Compact
Unlocked Bootloader
Stock Sony KK firmware .757/.108 or any ROM based on it

Visit the Kernel's Original Thread in the Z1 forum, and make sure you read all the instructions there

Hmmm, only if I compiled this kernel earlier (before merging the 757 sources) to get it work on .681
about T2W, it isn't working (as I mentioned in the "to do list"), and when I asked DoomLoRD about why isn't it working, he said:
It will depend on other touch screen driver... Not worth enabling it IMHO

OHMYGAWD! Finally a working custom kernel for our devices! It was long overdue! Big thanks to you, friend!
@t2w feature: the problem is, that the current implementation of t2w is not correct. It keeps a wakelock to check on your screen, thus preventing the device going into the deep sleep. Somebody should analyze Z2 sources to find the workaround Sony is using.
ps: I know that being greedy its bad, but still... Could you plz help @Androguide.fr porting Pimped kernel (cm based) to z1c as well? =)

Well then if that is the case, I'll rebuild the kernel tomorrow after disabling the T2W code, that should be useful until we figure out
how to actually make T2W work.
And yes I'll try my best to make pimped kernel work on our beloved device
Anyway I can flash this without the boot logo? The one that replaces the Sony logo just before Xperia. Thanks!

that would be easily done if you extract the boot.img to get the zImage & initrd.img, the logo is in the initrd.img (logo.rle).
if this is hard for you to change it, I'll change it for you and pm you the link.

You can also ask @Androguide.fr, since he has already tried porting it. Hey, he might even incorporate it in his source code, after you port it, thus making it official and freeing you from need to compile it =)
Hmm, strange, Looks like voltage control dont work, and I can "only" OC to 2,3 ghz, not 2,4ghz like the kernel should do, I am using Android Tuner for that, does it work for anybody else?

Everything works fine. But I can't able to move apps to SD card. Its giving pop up saying this ROM does not have app2sd feature or its broken..I redownload ROM and flashed to confirm the zip is not corrupted. But still same problem...

@Nikhil Major/Critical bugs:
the move to sd / phone option were missing from application tab
also all the apps no permission to installed to the sd card
this may due to the mounting points and you did not adding the 4.4 kiktat sd hot fix
just you have modified the permission.xml in system/etc/permission
Minor:
carbon rom can not in-place upgrade from omni 4.4 it
the theme choose will fc
2systemui will not started when in-place upgrade from omni4.4
(statues bar, nodification center,quick setting scroll down etc.)
what I could found the bug were above(majority sD card permission)
if you have time please fix it asap

hi all, great job ... will fix the camera, as it does not go to video mode and does not move.
Thanks for the very nice ROM. I love the ROM but Google play services and Clock crashes all the time! Can we expect a fix for these or am I missing something?
Did u clean install this ROM or you flashed over any previous .4.4 ROM ?if its not clean install. Try to wipe cache n dalvik from recovery also wipe cache and data for those app that you have issue with.. Which g-apps you use?

Flash the temporary CWM Recovery
Then flash the gaven TWRP recovery
And reboot to recovery
Wipe data / factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Format /system, mount /system, /data
And install the ROM
(Optional) flash the kernel
If coming from CM11/9/7:
Simply flash the rom over TWRP and if you want flash the kernel too, but factory reset and a cache is recommended.
If upgrading this rom to its next version:
Don't be scared if you see CWM. It's integrated in the rom. And just flash the rom, your data will be safe and saved.

This is not a cm12 rom, its just a cm11 with a skin. i recommend you to change the name of the thread to cm11 with material design of cm12, also 4.4.x is not jelly bean.
