Hi guys, I'm trying to use FolderMount (xda version) to transfer the application data from School idol festival.
I have searched both '/mnt/sdcard/Android/data' and '/mnt/sdcard/Android/obb' for anything that has 'lovelive' in it but it doesn't show up anything.
but what I do find is this at the bottom http://puu.sh/8MnwL.png
If I'm not mistaken, then that is the correct path, but I can't locate said path as the source folder. ><
edit: Guess I'm wrong, that's not the application data, but the application itself :<
Any help is greatly appreciated, have been finding out ways for almost a day. Thanks!

Hello,
i have search for about 30minutes but i wasn't able in finding a solution so i will start with the generic question and then go into the specific..
i am trying to look for a way to have logged (with an app or any other method) all the recent files read on my device.. so that if i launch an app which reads some files, anywhere they are stored, it will report me what was opened and read..
in the specific i have a app installed which saves the info into a file surely (i doubt it uses any kind of database). i would like to get in hold of that file and since i don't know where to look into my phone memory i was looking for a sort of file logger which could help me in this way. Else it could be also usefull to know if there is a specific folder dedicated for saving files of the various installed apps..
thanks

Hey guys,
Pretty new to the forums (in the way of posting). Do a lot of reading/learning.
But haven't found an answer for this one yet.
I'm looking for an app that will grant me remote access to folders/messages on my phone via internet/pc. I'm familiar with dropbox, but i have to manually drop certain files into my dropbox folder to view them. I'm looking for complete folder access not just specific files that I have to "drop".
Can anyone give me any insight to this?
Thanks in advance,
T.J.
I've been looking for hours for a work-around for this, but no luck, so I finally caved in and am asking for help.
I was backing up my sd card to my computer so I could format it.
While doing so, I was prompted with an error that said my path was too long.
I am on windows 7, and I know there is something like a 260 character limit for path names.
So I just made a new folder with a shorter name/path, and copied the files there.
This was good, as I thought I did a good job of figuring something out on my own.
So the problem lies when I want to put all of the files/folders back on my sd card.
I need them back in the folder they came from and I am not allowed to do that.
If anyone has any suggestions, it would be much appreciated.
BTW, the path is F:\Android\data\com.google.android.apps.books\files\volumes\Y7sOAAAAIAAJ
and I need to put the \res folder in there which contains files like
aHR0cDovL2Jvb2tzLmdvb2dsZS5jb20vYm9va3M_aWQ9WTdzT0FBQUFJQUFKJnBnPWNvbnRlbnQtMDA0MCZpbWc9MSZ6b29tPTYmaGw9ZW4mY2RzPTImc2lnPUFDZlUzVTBKb3lRRDA1dFQ4Zm1GSW94LVREUzhIMjlYcGcmdz00ODAmaD0zOTU=
I don't know what this file/folder is for. It looks like it would be something to do with books, but I have never had an app that had anything to do with books, and since its in the \Android\data\ path it looks important to me.
Do I need this folder? will it regenerate itself when said app runs?
Or am I just a complete idiot and I should just delete it and get on with my life?
Thanks in advance
I had the same problem recently. I just skipped them with no consequence. Google Books is the e-reader app for Books purchased through the Market. I actually have books from the market and I still did not encounter an issue. So you should be fine just to skip them.

Good day to all, I'm sorry if somebody already posted the same question as this one.
I am having problems accessing motoactv site (http://www.motoactv.com/) for two days (more or less) now and I cannot download my workout data into GPX so that I can upload/import it into endomondo.com.
I am following a motoactv running program, but I wanted to import the workout data (GPX) into endomondo so that it will be logged automatically to myfitnesspal app (too bad motoactv is not able to integrate with myfitnesspal application).
I am wondering if it is possible and if anybody knows where I can find the workout data in PC after syncing.
Hope somebody knows how.
Thanks
Hi borgymanotoy, I don't think the .gpx data will be stored on your PC after syncing - it is stored on the motoactv.com servers. In order to export it to Endomondo without using motoactv.com you will need to extract the data directly from the device.
I can't currently find where the workout data is stored on the device but I'm hoping that rooting the device will help. I'll keep you posted if I have any luck.
Any help anyone else can give would be greatly appriciated
Just to say that I was also interested to find where Motoactv keeps the workout data on the device.
Did not find it but take a look that the link:

A simple app for rooted Motoactv to export workout data to sdcard. Then you can import it anywhere (I am using runkeeper)
Thanks for the input remmyhi. This app will definitely make transferring easier in future but I'd also like to transfer my previous workouts.
I was hoping to find a neat file for each workout but after rooting and backing up the device I've been left with 6 .img files. I'm presuming that the workouts are stored in the one named 'userdata'. I managed to extract the folders from the .img file using a program called ext2explore but none of them jump out as being the one holding workout data. I'll start looking through them and post if I find anything useful
Ok, please do search. Mine didn't bring any positive results

Not sure if this is the right section to post such a thread but I need help...
What I'm trying to do is pull Music/Sound files from unity type .apk files.
My problem is there is no "sound" or "music" folders inside these unity type .apk files and so I'm having a hard time figuring them out.
I've even tried with the .OBB Files with these games and they seem to be the exact same. I've done google searches before posting this and all I'm getting is nothing so here I am asking the PROS of android xD.
This is what it looks like
All I see is a bunch of files with 2 folders called Managed and Resources which is located in assets/bin/Data But I have no idea how to rip any sort of sound/music files from these type of .apk files so I'm hoping someone here knows what file to look for in this situation.
Most games look like this and have the sound/music files hidden somewhere inside something...
