Hello @ll,
sometimes I use my headset (with mic function) on my nexus 4 (Stock rom with Android 4.4.2) and bluetooth connection.
Is there any possibility, that the caller (or if unknown the number) is announced by voice when the phone is connected with a bluetooth headset?
Maybe with an external app?
Thanks for your help,
Shadow128
Noone has a idea if that is possible?

I have read many other posts on this issue, but still haven't found an answer (maybe there isn't one). How can I make a bluetooth microphone route audio to any app waiting for input ?
No matter what I do the Xperia Z's internal mic remains active, unless I am in call or have (only by accident ! ) activated the useless Voice Dialer. The BT devices are a Laser headset and a Plantronics K100 hands-free.Sound is routed to the BT speakers/phones OK.
Can anyone explain why a paired BT mic is only active when in call, but does not accept audio input from any other application?
HI
I have a bug that -
when I call someone via Bluetooth car connection the call move to speakers only after the other side answering... no dialing tone at all... it started only in android 6 (no problem on 5.1.1)
I have Nexus 5
thanks
Hi there,
I've got a problem and I'm not sure if it's related to whatsapp or android.
If I connect my bluetooth headset (plantronics voyager legend), it works for calls.
If I want to use it for whatsapp voice messages I can hear message playback on the
headset as well as on the phone. But for input it only uses the phones mic.
Is there any way to select the input device that is used?
Stock Android 5.x on Nexus 5.
Thank you,
Christoph
Assume you have your smartphone connected to Bluetooth headset:
On my Andorid (Xiaomi), When I answer a call when the phone is connected to a Bluetooth headset, it will always direct the call to the BT headset.
In contrarily, on my dad iPhone 6 device, if I answer the call by clicking on the iphone, the call is answered in the earphone (on the iphone itself). Only if I answer the phone by (clicking) on the BT headset, then the call is answered on the BT headset.
I much prefer iOS behavior.
Is it possible to alter this behavior by installing application?
Or if one knows about android smartphone that behave like iOS (in this matter)
Or other solution?
I'll be grateful.
