Always have a problem after I stop Wi-fi and I want to let him go and says that the network is actually the point of my Wifi is out of range and need to reboot / phone off to fix. Does anyone know how I can fix it and what is the issue? Because the stock Rom did not make such a problem?
Hey man, I had the same problem here, but after searching in some forums I've just found a solution! Try installing the apk "WiFix Mananger" from Fardjad. It worked here. Very happy righ now! Good luck.

Thanks DanielMousinho.
Nice try, but unfortunately after a few hours the problem came back. I had to reset dalvik cache, disable and re-enable wifix and then it fixed the problem again... temporarily.
Anyone has a more persistent solution?
Here was suggested using Riches 0.6.2 kernel, I hope it's worth the trouble of installing it. Will keep you informed if I got any luck.

I haven't personally flashed this ROM yet, but just check other sources of error first -- is this problem router related?
Of course I want to be helpful, but I saw this thread earlier this morning

i have heard that on 4th feb 2012, htc have send (wifi fix) update to many devices.
But i am not able to find it and apply it manually.

Did you put your serial number in the box? I just put in my serial number and it told me that i don't need the fix
Look in the about phone section for your serial number
Even I tried it but I guess as desire s was in automatically update category, it will tell you don't need manual update.

well there could be many solutions, just a lot of them may not help
Is it only quattro causing problems?
Did you do a full wipe before switching to quattro?
Have you tried the wifi fix in the link?
Where to download?
Sounds interesting. How do I actually get that file to test it out? Webpage gives just the hint, that it was pushed already, but no download.
Help, please?
Thanks and best regards
Patrick

you have probably recieved the update already, this update i think has to do with wifi passwords that can be accesed through third party apps.. i read about this issue somewhere recently, it has something to do with good old htc sense.

Hello,
i've a nexus s with cm9 installed, and until now it was running very well... i don't know what happened, but i flashed another rom, and when i made the restore to cm9 again, i can't send text messages. Can receive calls, make calls, receive sms, but can't send... Any solution out there? Thank you...
*sorry, i didn't notice that was a Q&A in nexus S department, if someone could move this post to there i'll apreciate...
Someone? please?
Probably some issue with your radio.
Have you tried to flash another one?
Did u try to toggle on and off the airplane mode, or play with your connection settings?
I had the cm9, and then i gave a try to miui rom.. but in the miui i flashed a radio that i found here in xda.. after that i return to cm9 and found the sms issue... then i have made a clean install with cm9 but the problem continue.. flashed to bigxie rom apex and same problem... do u know a good radio that works well here in Portugal? Btw thanks for the help..
- i tried that with airplane mode, and tried to modify some config but can't solve this...

That's really weird..Sorry but I don't know which is the best radio since I don't own any Nexus S, but you can search in the Nexus S section.
By the way, have you tried to remove your battery, SIM card, sd card from your phone, then put them back and reboot?
Leave the phone without battery for 10-15min first.
It does solves many issues sometimes.
I tried what u said but without success...
I've to try another radio and check if it works... thanks again.. how can i give a thanks to you? (i allready saw in front of my eyes Thanks)

Hi, i have a HTC ONE X running software number : 1.73.631.1, I couldn't connect to wifi, its says not in range. It only works if i get my phone near to router, other than that it disconnects. Please let me know if there is a fix for this. Also tried changing to static IP, didnt work either.
Is there any latest update available?

Although the fix I provided you with earlier works for many people, it's still a problem for others.
We will need to wait for Rogers to issue a firmware up-date. The International units have already had this up-date, so the one from Rogers should come soon, but I can't say for sure. In the meantime, we'll just have to put up with it unless someone modifies/improves the current fix. Not sure if that will happen, though.

Hi
So i am facing the same problem as some does here that my sensation turns wifi and mobile data on its own randomly. I have looked at fixes at the Rom's page but the link there to fix the wifi is dead so i would appreciate if anyone could give me a link that will fix the issue for the wifi and mobile data.
p.s am using the NRGZ ICS Rom
thanks
And you think that running two threads will help better???? LOL

the issue has been fixed but the links are dead! so that's why a new thread besides it has to work with my Rom so i cant just use someone else fix! are not you supposed to know that by now????!!
