Okay so I unlocked my bootloader for my Moto G, and when It rebooted it said android was updating apps and then all the processes stopped working. It booted into the android startup but I couldn't get any processes running so it wouldnt work. I tried to reboot and now android doesn't even boot up. Should I flash a custom recovery right now and then wipe??? I haven't done anything to the phone other than carrier unlock and bootloader unlock. please help
Should I try this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219 , or is it too risky right now? I'm planning to restore it to another stock firmware anyways.

I had really hard time naming this thread because I'm not sure anymore what's the problem.
I tried to update my Moto G (unlocked bootloader and rooted) to 4.4.2. First I unrooted the device by flashing stock rom using this guide. After I had succesfully updated to 4.4.2 I changed from dalvik to ART. When I tried to reboot, after the Motorola boot animation there was only a black screen. I tried to downgrade back to 4.3 with no success. Now when I try to boot I only get the "warning bootloader unlocked" sign over and over again. CWM recovery can't mount /sdcard/.
Have I bricked my phone or is there something I can and should do?
Thanks for the replies, I'm covered in cold sweat here.
EDIT: Seems I was too quick to make a thread. After editing the flashall.bat a little like stated in the thread I was able to flash back to stock.
Hey, I'm not really sure what I've managed to do, so any help is appreciated!
I have a UK Retail motog which I updated OTA to 4.4.2. I've unlocked the bootloader and flashed CWM from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2563599
I managed to mess some things up (can't remember exactly what I did now, I know I know... stupid.)
Anyway when I try to start the phone I get the long warning message about the bootloader being unlocked etc, then the screen goes black and it just reboots, again and again.
What should I do next? I still have access to the bootloader and recovery, so I hopefully all is not lost.
Edit: I should add, I tried to flash back to the stock 4.3 stuff from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219
But flashboot gives me an error about partition downgrade. I also tried flashing the system image itself but that didn't fix my problem.
Edit 2: Fixed by following these instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49227024&postcount=127
So i was on stock 4.4.4 with root and cwm recovery.
got notification for 5.0.2 update, i reflashed stock recovery wipe user data & cache and unrooted my phone through super user app.
i downloaded the update and phone automatically flashed it through recovery, after that phone is not booting up stuck at moto M logo and keeps on restarting.
i just want to know that how can i check if the bootloader is updated or not and any safe method to flash stock firmware again wihout Hard Bricking it .
any suggestion are welcomed , i can boot phone in recovery and bootloader mode
Do you know what version you had before? The bootloader should have a version number on it and date. Like version 41.13 2014-06-16. If the date is more recent than when you got the phone, the bootloader was probably updated.
I would suggest you flash a Stock Firmware using Fastboot, it would be the safest way I can come up with.
Alright so I have a Moto G original version, currently running 4.4.4. I previously rooted it and stuck TWRP on it, but then when it became available to update to Lollipop on the Moto G I tried to get stock recovery on it. I used "MotoToolAIOV3" to put "Kitkat Stock Recovery" on it. This seemed to work fine, until it came to update, which then it errored every time I tried. I then realised the stock recovery that "MotoToolAIOV3" must be faulty or something, so I tried reputting TWRP on my Moto G by flashing it from an app called "Rashr". This seemed to be successful, HOWEVER I went to reboot my phone to check if it had worked, put it into bootloader, then went into recovery and it still came up with the stock recovery "MotoToolAIOV3" had given me. I was confused, so I tried "normal powerup", which THEN sent me into TWRP, however this time, when the bootloader unlocked warning came up, a weird blurry line went through my screen every so often, and then it went into TWRP, with the line going across the screen in TWRP as well. I've tried to boot into normal powerup through TWRP, Bootloader, normal powerup, holding down power button but every time I try, it goes into TWRP with a dodgy line going across my screen. I'm currently doing exams and I really need my phone as I have revision notes on apps that I can only access on that phone, and things such as exam timetable saved in the actual phone.
Please, somebody help ):
Again my phone is a Moto G Original Gen running 4.4.4 stock android, on a tesco thing (cant remember what its called might be kernel).
Thank you.

Seems like you have flashed TWRP into the kernel partition. Seem like the "Rashr" app or whatever flashed it there by mistake. I recommend that you install TWRP via a more standard procedure, such as using fastboot(if bootloader unlocked) or using the instructions given where ever you downloaded TWRP. Your situation is not serious as long as you are careful....
1. Install recovery to correct partition
2. Boot to that recovery and wipe/factory reset etc...
3. Install an new ROM.
Okay I am in a situation. my Google pixel is constantly boot looping. I have tried custom roms and even stock ROMs and it keeps boot looping. I've done all the tutorials and troubleshooting threads and to no avail am I getting this to stop. My bootloader is unlocked and I cannot flash any firmware that is stock below Android 10. I thought with the unlocked bootloader you could flash almost any firmware. Does anybody have any idea on how to help me and what I could do?
After trying to flash an OTA or a factory image it keeps saying something about user data and then it says press any key to exit.
I finally fast boot twrp and sideload lineage 17.1. after flash it rebooted... usually twrp flashes and waits for you to pick reboot. Phone works but is it a matter of time before it does the bootloop again? Clicking fix bootloop recovery seemed to work.
