[method] change play store download location - Android General

Hi guys, today i am here to tell you a method only tested on a galaxy y, but i hope it will work for all. this is a method to change the download location for play store.
WARNING!!!
1. WARRANTY IS NOW VOID.
2. NOT MY PROBLEM IF SOME APP FAIL.
3. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE THIS.
This is a simple code but it needs root for sure. now the necessities are as follows:
1. A complete nandroid backup
2. Root Permissions
3. Any terminal emulator. e.g https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hecticman.jsterm
4. You need to know the default download location and the mount point of sd card( if that is where you want the new download location )
Now let's start.
Just know this that mnt/sdcard will have to be replaced by your sdcard mount point and data/app will have to be replaced by the default download location. i underlined them for easy understanding.
NOT MY PROBLEM IF THIS FAILS AND YOUR PLAY STORE CRASHES. JUST DO A NANDROID RESTORE.
THERE WILL ALREADY BE A $ AT START SO U DON'T HAVE TO PUT IT.
$ su
# mkdir /mnt/sdcard/playstore
# cp -r /data/app/* /mnt/sdcard/playstore
# rm -rf /data/app
# ln -s /mnt/sdcard/playstore /data/app
Click to collapse
what the code does:
1. Grant super user permissions
2. Make a directory in sdcard named playstore.
3. Copy all items (recursively) from data/app to sdcard/playstore
4. Delete data/app
5. Symlink the new location to fake the original.
Hitting Thanks can help.
and once again PLEASE BACKUP BEFORE THIS AND RESTORE IF NOT SUCCESSFUL.
This is based on the code used by link2sd.

The sdcard is fat32 or ntfs, but the fat32 and ntfs doesn't support link, only ext2,ext3,ext4 and so on support the link
---------- Post added at 11:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:16 PM ----------
Well,i have had a try, this code can work, and it can creat a link on /data/app, but it can't creat a link on /mnt/sdcard, i think i have made a mistake.

why would you ever want to do that?

It can create a link. Try again

[HOW-TO] Backup your files before rooting

To fully root your EVO, you must apply a couple of updates over the top of your current installation. They will completely erase your user data.
To backup your files before rooting:
- Plug in your phone to your computer
- Make sure you have adb installed.
- Download the unrEVOked userland root.
- Open a terminal and cd into your downloads folder (e.g. cd ~/Downloads)
- Type the following:
Code:
adb install unrevoked.apk
adb shell
su
-- Look at your phone screen. Superuser Permissions is asking you if terminal has
permission to become root. Click allow. --
mkdir /sdcard/backup/
busybox cp -R /data /sdcard/backup/data
This will place a full copy of your userdata partition on your sdcard. To restore files back to your userdata partition after the root, simply use busybox cp to move them back. If your new ROM didn't include busybox, download and install it:
Code:
adb push busybox /system/bin/busybox
adb shell
chmod 755 /system/bin/busybox
I haven't tried copying all my userdata from the sdcard back to the data partition. I've simply used this method to backup and restore files I really didn't want to lose (like my bike calculator logs). I don't know if you could circumvent the wipe by copying your whole data backup back to the data partition after rooting. If you'd like to try and find out, please leave your results in the comments.
I've noticed that the files I've restored from my sdcard back to /data/data have root permissions. In Android, each app gets its own user account that has permissions to its data. If you don't fix the permissions, your apps won't be able to save their data. I don't know how to lookup which app gets which user account, but once you figure it out, you can do this:
Code:
cd /data/data/com.myapp
chown app_83.app_83 ./*
where myapp and app_83 are replaced with the values you are changing. joeykrim has posted a link which may help you do this automatically (fix_permissions.sh) in his thread.

i never got that far, w/o restoring the correct permissions the apps won't load and puts android into a continuous boot loop and it will keep trying to load the apps but the permissions wont match.

i think the permissions are kept in /data/system/packages.xml ...

switched hosting providers, this link got lost in the shuffle. its http://www.joeyconway.me/evo/apps/fix_permissions.sh . updated my post. thanks!
Interesting. I've only used this trick to restore data selectively. I haven't tried moving the whole backup back into my /data partition.
Thanks for the heads up.

[TUTORIAL] Install applications into SD Card for Samsung Galaxy 5 (i5500)

DISCLAIMER: DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BRICK / RUIN YOUR PHONE IN ANY WAY.
Hi Everyone,
I have some good news for the owners of Samsung Galaxy 5 (i5500) Smartphones.
Doing some research on Google and reading about efforts from other people who could install applications on SD card on other android phones, I was able to develop a method to install application into SD card for the Galaxy 5. Better yet, you won't even need a custom Rom.
Before I get into the specifcs let me state that the following steps are manual and no application is provided to automate the process, so advanced computer skill is required and some knowledge of unix/linux is a plus.
Here we go: PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THING BEFORE YOU START. I MAY HAVE OMMITED SOME COMMANDS OUT OF LACK OF ATTENTION.
1) You'll need to root your phone. There is a lot of guides about this available, just google for it. I've used the SuperOneClick Root to do this.
2) Partition your sd card like this: 1 - FAT, 2 - Linux ext2. Again, there is a lot of guides about this on the net, just google again. I've used Paragon Partition Manager 2010 to lower the size of my FAT partition, leaving a 550MB unallocated space at the end of the card. Then I formatted this space as ext2 in linux, using ubuntu live CD. Most guides around there recommends that you keep this partition between 500~750MB, so I didn’t try with greater sizes. Also, i kept my partition 1 as FAT 16, but FAT 32 might actually work too, try that if you want and post me a reply.
3) Download Titanium Backup (or another app backup tool) from market and backup your applications. You may need to restore your applications to correct some permission problems that may occur after completing this guide.
4) Install busybox. BusyBox is a software application that provides many standard Unix tools, which are not available on stock android. You can get a copy of busybox by clicking on “problems?” button on Titanium Backup main window. It will get installed on /data/data/com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup/files.
5) If you still don’t have Android SDK installed on your PC, download and install it from Google. You’ll need ADB (Android Debug Bridge), which is included in the SDK, to proceed. Now open a shell connection with your device by typing:
Code:
adb shell
Just keep in mind that you MUST be logged as root. Root command prompt is recognized by the # character. If you don’t have root type the ‘su’ command. If even with ‘su’ you couldn’t get root, please review step 1.
6) Create ‘sd’ folder int /system:
Code:
cd /system
mkdir sd
7) Mount ext2 partition into /system/sd
Code:
mount -t ext2 /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 /system/sd
8) Create a folder to store the applications into ext2 partition:
Code:
cd /system/sd
mkdir app
9) Copy busybox to /system/bin
Code:
cat /data/data/com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup/files/busybox > /system/bin/busybox
chmod 755 /system/bin/busybox
10) Copy your applications to ext2 partition:
Code:
busybox cp /data/app/* /system/sd/app/
11) Change permissions of copied applications:
Code:
cd /system/sd/app
chown system.system *
chmod 644 *
12) Now comes the tricky part: making Android mount your new partition at boot time. All the hard work would be useless if Android discarded the mount points every time we restarted our phones. To do this we’ll need to create 2 scripts and store then into /system/etc. Obviously the scripts should be started by init.rc and need to run as root. Fortunately Android’s init.rc have a gap that makes this possible. The scripts are named install-recovery.sh and init-sd2.sh.
install-recovery.sh content:
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
/system/etc/init-sd2.sh&
init-sd2.sh content:
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
MYLOG=/data/install-recovery.log
echo "$(date) Starting install-recovery.sh" > $MYLOG
echo "$(date) Waiting SD to become ready..." >> $MYLOG
sleep 10
mount -t ext2 /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 /system/sd 1>>$MYLOG 2>>$MYLOG
mount -o bind /system/sd/app /data/app 1>>$MYLOG 2>>$MYLOG
mount >> $MYLOG
echo "$(date) Finishing install-recovery.sh" >> $MYLOG
If you plan to edit this files on windows I recommend a tool that is capable of keeping UNIX file format, just like notepad++ free tool.
13) After placing the scripts, change their permissions:
Code:
cd /system/etc
chmod 555 install-recovery.sh
chmod 555 init-sd2.sh
14) Rename the default application folder. If everything works fine you can remove this later to save space:
Code:
cd /data
mv app app_old
mkdir app
chown system.system app
chmod 755 app
15) Restart your phone and cross your fingers
16) If you have problems with your widgets don’t worry. You just need to remove then from your homescreen and add again.
17) Check if your applications are running as they should. Restore backups you’ve made with Titanium Backup for the applications showing problems.
18) If your partition didn’t mount at boot, check log file at /data/install-recovery.log
19) From now on your new applications will be installed on your SD Card. You can modify the scripts to store other folders from /data into the ext2 partition as needed. I’ve been running my applications from SD Card for a week now without any problems or bugs.
20) If you can’t make it work, post your question here and I will try to help you out.
21) Donations are welcomed, just drop some money into my paypal account. Just kidding
Good luck and cya!
can this script use for moving /data/data to EXT2?
if can, from where i should start type the script?
i'm still newbie on this
so i'm alittle bit confused, i hope you can help me and sorry for my bad english
i'm already succes from step 1 to step 11
but i'm little confused at step 12
can you explain how to make the script?
should i make those 2 script via notepad++ and then copy it to /system/sd and then continue to step 13?
or should i just type everything on step 12 after step 11 in cmd prompt?
the problem is, if i make the script from notepad++ the android system will just discard my mount point when i restart my phone
and if i just type everything on the step 12 in comand prompt, when i'm type chmod 555 install-recovery.sh and chmod 555 init-sd2.sh like in the step 13, it always say that install-recovery.sh and init-sd2.sh file is not found?
so what should i do?
i'm stuck on step 12
step 12, type it on notepad++ and then you have to change the extension of the file with .sh, after that copied the 2 files to /system/etc

@agus
about the scripts, u can check with root explorer, try to view the script and make sure it was the exact same from the script above, coz i experience the same problem for the first time i try this. if u sure that the script are same then try to execute it using root explorer and then go to titanium backup and see if there is there is another storage (usually there is internal and SD card only).
@stasic
use the root explorer to copy the script to /system/etc, don't forget to change the root explorer option from R/O to R/W, this option should be on top of the page, just touch it to change from R/O to R/W.

sama2 bro AKA ur welcome bro, have fun with the app2sd hehehe
@nima
search on google, how to format EXT2, if i correct u can use paragon partition for windows user, but if u use macintosh u can just go to disk utility and make partition with EXT2 format
@stasic
go to the /system/etc and see if it already R/W or still R/O
It's written that R/W but when I copy and paste still nothing happens..

In your PC command prompt execute:
Code:
adb shell
Make sure you are loged in as root and in ADB SHELL try this:
Code:
mount -o rw,remount /dev/stl12 /system
Then execute:
Code:
mount
If your mount result has a line like the one bellow, with the rw set, you'll be able to copy the files.
Code:
/dev/stl12 /system rfs rw,vfat,llw,check=no,gid/uid/rwx,iocharset=utf8 0 0

Try the same thing I posted above. I don't have Root Explorer installed here, so you should be able to finish this guide without it.
stuck in step 2
cant mkdir....
Hi, nice guide!
I succeded with this the first time I tried but now I have changed to a larger sd card and I can't get it to work.
The log file says that it failed to mount the mmcblk0p2 folder, and now when I check it doesn't even exist. What should I do?
Hope I can get help.. thankful for response. /Mattefacit

FIX: extsd2internalsd broken after Verizon 4.1.2 OTA

Loong time lurker, first time poster. I couldn't post a reply in the development forum, obviously. Maybe someone can link to this in relevant threads over in development.
This is a guide for those who are/were using the extsd2internal to swap storage which no longer works after the 4.1.2 OTA or want to do take advantage of this mod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849860 OR it MIGHT work for other ROMs which want to use this method for the Galaxy S3.
After the OTA, and getting back up and running, I could not get the script to work correctly with this error: "no such file or directory" and doing some sleuthing, it seems Verizon (in their infinite wisdom) changed the mounts, or maybe it did this because gremlins/gnomes, maybe because Vzw/Samsung knows about the swapping method, who knows. Anyways, here is the fix that worked for me:
PreReqs:
Stock ROM 4.1.2 OTA
Rooted (duh)
BusyBox
SManager ads
Terminal Emulator
Root Explorer in R/W mode
extsd2internalsd mod installed/script in the correct place!
BACKUPS!! Make a nandroid backup before you do ANY tinkering people, and copy it to a safe place like your computer.
Let me be clear, for the love of bits and bytes, do not just keep one copy on the sdcard in the phone!!
1) To find the /dev/block/vold for the external sd card, open Terminal Emulator and run this command. Grant it root access when prompted:
Code:
su ls /dev/block/vold
Write down or make a note of the numbers. (For me there were only 2, 179:32 and 179:33) Now run these commands:
Code:
adb shell
cat /proc/mounts
There will be a whole lot of text that shows up, you are looking for "/dev/block/vold/179:xx" and in the same line there is "/storage/extSDCard"
Alternate method, after you are in shell run command and look for mmcblk1p1:
Code:
cat /proc/partitions
The number in the "minor" column, that's the new number!
Double-check that the blocks are right for the sd card's partition size.
Note: I tried using mmcblk1 and it didn't work, then tried mmcblk1p1 and VIOLA! Yay, trial and error.
2) In SManager, edit the extsd2internal script, and replace the 179:97 to 179:*new number* (again, for me it was 179:33)
3) Reboot or just "run" the script in SManger and wait a few moments, then check Settings>Storage.
Here is what my script looks like:
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
#extsd2internalsd is a modification that allows to switch internal sd to external sd and viceversa. With this you can use default internal sd only for app storage #and the external sd to store all apps resource and all others stuff. The resut is a very big increase of installable apps on gs3
#All credits to Mattiadj of xda forum for the idea and script and to mike1986 for the cmw zip.

#Script Modified for U.S. Galaxy S3s by Zedomax at GalaxyS3Root.com to be compatible when sdcard is not inserted.
busybox mount -o remount,rw /
busybox mount -t vfat -o umask=0000 /dev/block/vold/179:33 /mnt/sdcard
busybox mount -t exfat -o umask=0000 /dev/block/vold/179:33 /mnt/sdcard
if busybox mount | busybox grep vold/179:33; then
busybox mount -o bind /data/media /mnt/extSdCard
fi
If this didn't work for you, I am a complete n00b, so I will do my best, but don't expect much.
Things to double check:
Permissions on the extsd2interal script in Root Explorer should have all the boxes checked EXCEPT the last 3 at the bottom.
SManager script should be set to "Su" and "Boot"
OTA Headaches? Use this guide to keep root and boot unlocked worked PERFECTLY: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2186574#8 I did a nandroid restore to pre-OTA since it borked the first go-around, and then used this method.
Take home message: MAKE BACKUPS!
Credits / Current Build of this mod:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1772234
This mod does work, and just replacing the old with the new (still have to add it in SManager) will get the job done. The new script is significantly different, and I am sure there are reasons, but without a changelog...

FIX for Monkey Test & Time Service Virus (Without Flashing)

Hello everyone,
This method I'm going to write is tried on my own Lenovo A7600-H Kitkat 4.4.2 tablet, which I did not flash because I'm not sure about stock roms available on the net. If I had found a reliable rom I wouldn't be able learn this
To remove this virus you need to install busybox, Terminal emulator, Root explorer pro and you must have Supersu not superuser which is installed by Kingoroot. If you have rooted your device with kingoroot, so you need to change that.
Here is how to change that:
Google this: how to get ride and replace kinguser with supersu app (Follow first zidroid link)
I'm not able to submit links so im going to write the exact apps with developer names to download from Playstore.
Busybox Installer by JRummy Apps Inc.
Terminal Emulator by Jack Palevich
Root Explorer Pro by Speed Software
Once you have installed everything here is what to do in steps:
[Note: USB DEBUGGING MUST BE ENABLED Turn on Usb Debugging by going to settings> developer options> Usb debugging]
1) Turn off wifi/3G/4G, and then go to settings> apps> all> disable time service and monkey test. (If already frozen via titanium backup or other app) skip this.
2) Open Root explorer go to system/xbin and see if there is any file starting with a dot (eg: .ext.base) also note that every (.) file has diff permission then the rest of other files. So just remember those files with dots because those are the one that you're going to remove in terminal emulator.
3) Go back to system and then go to Priv-app folder and look for these two files
[1] cameraupdate.apk [2] providerCertificate.apk and also notice permission of these two files are different then the rest of Apks so these two are the base of MT TS virus and needs to be deleted.
4) Open Terminal Emulator OR if you have access to your device via adb from a computer.
5) WHAT TO TYPE IN TERMINAL EMULATOR or ADB (CMD Windows)
adb devices (Type this line if you're using adb Windows)
adb shell
su
mount -o remount,rw /system
cd system/priv-app
chattr -iaA providerCertificate.apk
rm providerCertificate.apk
chattr -aA cameraupdate.apk
rm cameraupdate.apk
cd ..
cd system/xbin
chattr -iaA .b
rm .b
chattr -iaA .ext.base
rm .ext.base
chattr -iaA .sys.apk
rm .sys.apk
[NOTE: If you are using older version than KK you need not to type priv-app just type cd system/app]
6) Please make sure you type the file name correctly just as providerCertificate C is capital otherwise permission wont change.
7) Exit Emulator/ADB
8) Go to settings> apps> all> send me the screenshot if you have Monkey test or Time Service there
9) I'm 100% sure if you've followed everything as I mentioned you are good as new and you don't need to flash.
10) I'm not a developer and That's it!

If you don't have a priv-app folder than you are not on Kitkat and you have to delete files from system/app folder.
Well anyway you have to delete cameraupdate.apk and providerCertificate.apk
and you are deleting SettingProvider.apk which I never said you have to.
Please look closely

Dearest,
It is 4.0.4 ics , in app folder there is no providerCertificate.apk but SettingProvider.apk which is newer (as per date also AVG prompted it as malware and tried to uninstall but failed) than the original SettingProvider.apk ,i tried to insert screenshots, but prevented by forum thanks if you may share with me your email address i may be able to post
command : chatter... gives error message, is there different procedure for ics ?
Secondly,
I have searched out that karbonn A 30 is a rebranded version of vsun I 1S ,and original rom based on kitkat is available on their site, is it safe to flash vsun rom on it or shall I go for abacada rom available on xda?

Btw you are unable to remove providersettings.apk because you might be typing wrong attributes for it.
To see its attribute cd system/app [enter]
then type lsattr to look for attributes of providersettings.apk
and then use those attributes with - and rm that file.
And If you want to flash your phone/tablet go with your brand official rom.

Yes you don't need cache clear but doing it on a safe side is better.

1) Turn off wifi/3G/4G Open settings> apps> all> disable time service and monkey test.
5) WHAT TO TYPE IN TERMINAL EMULATOR or ADB (CMD Windows)
adb devices (Type this line if you're using adb Windows)
adb shell
su
cd system/priv-app
chattr -iaA providerCertificate.apk
rm providerCertificate.apk
chattr -aA cameraupdate.apk
rm cameraupdate.apk
cd ..
cd system/xbin
chattr -iaA .b
rm .b
chattr -iaA .ext.base
rm .ext.base
chattr -iaA .sys.apk
rm .sys.apk
6) Please see if your device xbin has more files with dots because these are three files I had so if there are more you need to remove them with the same command I mentioned above (e.g:cd system/xbin [Enter] chattr -iaA .New.file & then rm .New.file and make sure you type the file name correctly just as providerCertificate C is capital otherwise permission wont change.
7) Exit Emulator/ADB shutdown your device go to recovery clear cache and restart.
8) Go to settings> apps> all> send me the screenshot if you have Monkey test or Time Service there
9) I'm 100% sure if you've followed everything as I mentioned you are good as new and you don't need to flash.
10) I'm not a developer and That's it!

You can't change it with Root Explorer you have to change permissions with Terminal Emulator by the entering the commands I've mentioned in my guide.

Forgive me, but your statement quoted above is the only one that makes sense here. You were booted from Security Discussion thread and you move here.
You confuse people, give nonsensical advice and don't seem to know what you are talking about. First of all the chattr command is not supposed to work on Android ext4, so, no wonder people can't remove files this way. And anyway, your prolong instructions are not worth the "paper" they are written on. Even if someone would succeed following them, there is no guarantee they remove the virus. The proper way is to completely reformat your phone including internal SD and external SD, which you do in recovery by formatting System, Cache, Dalvik cache, Data and both sd cards. Period. And for the future, don't install any third party apps unless you compile them from source by yourself or someone you trust.
OK

If you are having this error it means you have installed busybox app not busy box.
To do this open busybox app in your device, select busybox ver1.2, select intall location /system/xbin/ and tap install.
Then try the procedure

Get a custom rom. If there is no custom rom, then do a factory reset and then format external and internal sd cards.
Brother Nuh has helped me solving cameraupdate and time service android malwares without flashing, may the Almighty bless him abundantly I really learnt some new things from him Thumbs Up for Brother Nuh:good:

I can't find a custom recovery either, so only stock recovery with not many options. :crying:

Swap for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0

Credits:
[mbm] for teaching me this dd terminal method.
As we all know, for what ever reason, Samsung decided to release the Tab 3 model tablets with 1 GB of ram. I believe this system needs more ram but unfortunately we cannot upgrade the hardware. What we can do is create virtual memory or a "Swap file" that acts like ram to help our Tab 3's out with multitasking and other memory hogging tasks. Below are the steps to:
1. Create a swap file.
2. Create a script file to run at boot from your /system/etc/init.d directory.
3. Create a android system with 1GB of RAM and 1GB of swap file virtual memory.
*Remember whatever device you are using must have a rom with init.d support and be rooted.
STEP 1: TERMINAL COMMANDS PT.1
Download terminal emulator from the play store if you don't already have it.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm&hl=en
Open terminal emulator and execute these commands in order:
1. "su"
2. "cd /system"
3. "mount -o rw,remount /system"
4. "dd if=/dev/zero of=swapfile bs=1m count=600" (be patient, this step takes about a minute)
5. "mkswap swapfile"
6. "chmod 755 swapfile"
STEP 2: INIT.D SWAP FILE TEXT CREATION
Now to create a script to execute at boot every time you boot your phone. I used the app QuickEdit from the play store.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rhmsoft.edit
Now open that up and put the text below in the file:
"mount -o rw,remount /system
swapon /system/swapfile"
Now save that to your sdcard (/sdcard) as "swap" (remember do not save with the .txt)
STEP 3: TERMINAL COMMANDS PT.2
Now go back into terminal and execute these commands:
1. mv /sdcard/swap /system/etc/init.d
2. chmod 755 /system/etc/init.d/swap
I kept my previous terminal session open but if you closed it for what ever reason you might have to execute "su" and then "mount -o rw,remount /system" before the two commands in step 3.
STEP 4:
Reboot and win. :laugh::good::laugh:
To verify that the process has worked, after reboot, bring up terminal emulator and type "free -m". You should see that swap has more than 600M! This will stick after reboot. If for whatever reason you want to get rid of your swap file just delete the "swapfile" file and the "swap" script. Enjoy!

Thanks for the tutorial, but on which ROM have you tested this?
I'm currently using cm 12.1 on tab 3 10.1. This will work on any rooted ROMwith init.d support.
Was just wondering which space does it uses to swap the memory and create virtual memory? Do we have to use sdcard and den make partitions there is no such step in this...

After 5,th step it shows swapfile needs to be atleast 40kb... What to do for dat?

I did this to my T310 running Blissrom, and I see the 600m after the command free - m. How do I know if it is being used? I didn't detect any difference in response or behavior, but maybe I was expecting incorrectly.

@sandeep0048 just follow the steps and you will be good. No need to make partitions because we make "swapfile".

This is going to help on games or apps that use a lot of RAM. It's also going to help when using a lot of apps at the same time. Multitast a lot , open up a lot of apps and then run the command "free -m" you will then see swap being used.

If the kernel supports swap then yes it will work, if not then no. You will also need init.d support for it to work.
I tried this on my tab simply to experiment, and I undid the changes. However, when I try to backup my tab, I'm being told that I don't have enough space, and I haven't added anything significant. I deleted the file named swapfile, but I ask if perhaps something else needs to be done to truly free that space.
I'm on Noelkat 1.1 and after step. 5 I get this toolbox error.
