Thanks
I bought the Hero h2000 (android 2.2 Froyo) thinking that all phone running android were pretty much the same. Now first of all, I can't connect to my home wifi with mac address filter. The mac address is in the exceptions list. However, it keeps telling me my mac address is invalid. Not because it's not excepted, but because it thinks it's not a real mac address. Is there anyway to like reset my mac address?
Also, it a ton of apps just force close immediately after I open them or tell my there incompatible with my phone, how do I fix this?
Now I've rooted my h2000 with universal androot and I'm thinking if I install cyanogen that will fix a lot of problems with the stock rom. However, the hero h2000 is largely unheard of and of course there is no cyanogen for it. Or any other roms for that matter. I can't quite remember but I think I read somewhere that the standard rom was written from the htc hero rom or something. Could I install clockworkmod and cyanogen for a different phone like the htc hero? Any input is greatly appreciated!
Having started to learn a little about rooting and Roms, I managed to install Redux2-31.08-Test on my HD Desire. Lovely Rom - really like using it - however I now need to sync with Outlook 64 bit on Win a 7 machine (also 64 bit). I am aware of Gsync for Outlook and the ways that Google Calendar can be used, however I was attempting to find a way to re-install HTC Sync on the Desire. I have it on the PC but is there any way to obtain it and put it onto the phone ?
I have looked through the forums and can't find an answer to this.
Can anyone help please ?
Hello,
I'm trying to get my phone working as a MIDI controller/keyboard for my computer (music software like reason 7 etc..) but I can't really find any good tutorial, except one on YouTube using the app musical pro but the app force closes when using his way. Anyways, does anybody know a way to connect it (WiFi/USB), I'd be so happy if I can use it. I also checked out an app called ''EMC easy midi controller v2'' (not in the play-store anymore), for that you had to connect your phone using Bluetooth to the computer, but my computer can't find my phone and the other way around as well (win 8) and I tried a lot of trouble shooting. So:
-Does anybody have a way to use my phone as a midi?
-Can anybody solve the Bluetooth issue?
Thanks in advance! (I hope this is the right forum to ask this)
specs:
-HTC one V
-Android 4.0.3
-Sense 4.0
Anyone?

Hi
One of my Android Tablet Touch doesn't work well so I want to install an app that I can remote from my Android Phone. I don't use Teamviewer because it work only with internet connection. Does anyone have a good idea?
