I have a Galaxy Grand Duos which now has an IMEI 000000000000 after upgrading to 4.2.2.
My question is how can I restore the IMEI ?
1- If i downgraded back to 4.1.2, does it work? If yes how is it done ?
2-If i rooted it and installed a custom ROM, does it work?
3-If none of the above, please tell me how to get the IMEI back ?

I got an Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 GT-3110 .. and then updated to android version 4.1.2
but now I want to root my tab and i cannot do that. I tried with some tutorials and I did all the steps about installing CMW using Odin.. but CMW won't appear.. and then when I get to the Recovery Mode I can't install the zip file to do the root..
I would be glad and thankful if somebody can tell me how to solve this problem ..

I had i series problem in lenovo a3500-hv , after download new firmware 4.4.2 its give on imei " null " and i cant put my imei manually with mobileuncle tool or any other tool beacause its not rooted and icant root that version 4.4.2 .... so now i downgrade to old old version 4.2.2 beacause it can be rooted and can write imei ....
♣ I want to know if there is a way that i can use to put the imei again and it never gone with every format or wipe like now ????
♣ is there is a working root for that model and 4.4.2 firmware ????
♣ is there is a pre rooted rom 4.4.2 which i can download it ???

sir , I installed Aurora-I9500-S6-Port-beta2 rom on my s4 ( gt I9500) . then i want to restore the stock rom, I did n't get the file installed successfully.
getting errors while restoring and stuck on logo. Now I reflashed the custom rom again, now using, Can i Flash Official firmware 5.0 Through Odin
on My S4 ( Named As s6 on about device) and How to ?

Hey,
Yeah you can flash the stock firmware for the Galaxy S4 via ODIN without any problems.
It will restore your ROM to stock 5.0 touchwizz.

but it saying on online forums should be the samsung S4 with same model Number
It saying on online forums it should be exact samsung s4 with its own model number ? No problems?
You need to flash stock s4 firmware

By the way i tried to root my sm- j510fn mobile but i didnot clear my google account so when i restart it my phone locked and i flashed the official rom with one file but i now not able to install stock recovery nor custom recovery it fail even when i tried to reflashed the stock rom it fails .
And iam not able to update the official rom they said that iam using a custom rom (because i tried to return the stock recovery by flash it) the only way i have is smart swich but it does not work too ? ..iam sorry for being so long ..the only way i have is 4-file stock rom ..i searched google and not find any. wish u can help .

Hello,i have lost my contact files of my j1 , i found an app called dr fone to recover deleted files, when i decided to root my device with the classic root method ( flash custom recovery = TWRP with odin+download mode,flash super su binary using the installed recovery) if anybody rooted successfuly his j100FN please give the link of the recovery...thank you very much.........or just give me a working root method such installing rooted rom , or adb.... if there is any way to restore deleted contacts without rooting pls post it
