I'ts not much, but I will gladly put $20 down towards S-Off. It's probably worth more to me, but I can't guarantee more than $20.
I've never owned an S-Off device. Last was HTC One X+ that only had bootloader unlocked and root and did fine with custom roms and tweaks. Just couldn't flash radios straight up but scripts worked around that.
Anyways, I'm in for $20usd. Can only imagine what's possible with this beast of a phone!

They work with a Galaxy Nexus (as mentioned in one of the reviews) so although I haven't tried it personally on the Nexus 4, I'm betting they should work fine. The main ones to watch out for are the MIFARE 1K style NFC tags, which reportedly don't work.

Sony smartTags; It are mifare UL tags with an id to work with Sony smartTag app. Install free smartTag app. Or format to use with other nfc apps. They are not locked.
In case anyone was wondering, these should work perfectly with the Nexus 4. I've got some on order, and will post my results when I get them.

Hi, all. I come from taiwan. N4 is not on the local market. I have ever tried my friends N4, and I cant wait to own one. The price is amazing in US compare to here which with the same hardware. Its almost half-price with tax. Is it worth to own one?

Well it is a great deal, but make sure it's real one. There are many fakes around.
Ask for a seller warranty at least (like for a week min. So that if you find it to be a mockup you could return it to them )

Sam's Club has the lowest price that I've seen yet for the grey/purple 32 GB TF700. It is $399 until 3/29. It's $435+ on Amazon atm. Best Buy has been selling them for $419 lately.
You can pick up in store or order online (both require membership) with free shipping.
I picked one up and it was on 9.x.x.2x, i.e. pre-9.x.x.30 where NVFlash cannot be attained. I know a lot of people have posted lately that they bought a new TF700 and it came with JB, so NVFlash is impossible. So not only is this a good deal, but it is likely that you can get one that can be setup for NVFlash.
Of course I don't guarantee that yours will be on the same exact version. But this was my experience yesterday. Happy to have NVFlash setup now!

I found the Gold version on sale for the same price at BJ's super club online today.
As with Sam's Club, I am not a member however the surcharge BJ's imposes is lower.

Others are also there , but i prefer samsung...
I would suggest you get nexus devices as you don't have any restrictions from any of the OEMs or carriers ( gsm version).
And Samsung has been losing its dev community by its insane acts recently. ( non open source nature of exynos, blah blah)
Sony is picking up good momentum. But still I would suggest you get a nexus device.
