unable to install 2.2.2 froyo DEFY

Hi there first of all im not very good with this stuff so bare with me please ^_^ , my problem is that i was on gingerbread then i downgraded following this steps

so im on Moto_Version.34.179.2.MBM525.Retail.en.CEE
Frimware version 2.2.2
its not stable at all and im trying to flash a couple of sbf i have and always used them they are also froyo i think one is nordic but im getting a black screen and cant flash it at all so im stuck with the one i'v mentioned before some one told me that i have to use depacker or somthing to change my serial so i can flash them any idea please sorry if u dont understand quite good but i said im newbie
short: Can I flash a full sbf over the froyo cee rom ?? and how ??

I have the same issue. I am unable to flash full sbf over this rom. im on Moto_Version.34.179.2.MBM525.Retail.en.CEE as well.

Installing BaseBang for custom rom ??

I am thinking of installing Kind 3d Rom on my O3D... is it necessary to install a baseband for Gingerbread first ? If so whats the best baseband available and how to install it ..... just like flashing custom rom or theres some other way .. ??

+ my O3d is working fine , so i dont install the baseband and update to 2.3 rom will it have it effect ... sometimes i loose connectivity and have to restart but i thinks that is due poor network coverage.

Hi, I only recently got my O3D and it was locked to one network. I bought an unlock code (had to wait for it) and preceded to install king rom. When I tried to put lock code in it wouldnt let me. I then realised that even an original network sim wouldnt work and my imei number was not showing on the phone.
Hence I found I needed to update the baseband to allow the network to be picked up.
So yes you need to, however I updated the baseband after gb install and it worked fine, not sure about doing the baseband update beforehand.
I used baseband v18 and whilst signal is not as good as my old defy, I am not complaining too much

You have to install baseband. It doesn't matter if you do it before or after flashing the rom

Can u plz post the links for the basebands ..... ? R these basebands region specific ?

or should i try them one by one .....?

Is the baseband updated in the same way ?
Install CWM on mobile , flash the baseband ???

Hi all, noob guy here, i really need some help. I rooted my optimus 3d and installed ice cream sandwich rom, since then i cant use my phone or send txts, it does not regognise my sim card. the rom is working fine and looks great though.lol. Is there a way in which i can revert back to stock rom? any help would be really appreaciated.TIA.

Why don't you all simply just install the official Gingerbread update from LG and then afterwards try out the custom roms based on the Gingerbread release? I don't get it...

Is it that easy?just put it in the SD card and then install....etc??I am havinga cold feet installing any costume rom cause I hear this and that..I am on official GB 21A and rooted..donnu wat to to do really..

Hi to everyone.I just bought my O3d after SE Arc,and i love this phone,but im stuck with update to gingerbread,i was not able to flash baseband first so now i want to update to official gb but lg mobile support software say that my phone is up to date even than im on froyo 2.2.2,and in settings there is no option such as ota update or something like that.Can i update my O3d with lg pc suite 4?

Lg p920 upgrade from gb to ics or jb

I have 1 LG P920 phone with Orange UK BASEBAND V20D 27 JUNE 2012
I would like to upgrade to ICS or even better JB , I tried the ROM from Cyano cm 10.01 but the phone crashing every 5 mm!
Can anyone on here guide me on how to upgrade my phone on an easy way ? I saw on here a loads of guides but I found it a bit complicated in order to upgrade my phone.
Please give me some advise on where I can find on this site an easy ( step by step guide) ?

First of all for cm you need the latest boot loaders flash them and no crashes will happen
And about the ICS just follow the sticky guide for flashing firmwares

I d like to upgrade my P920 from Gingerbread to ICS or JB I currently got Baseband : 20d and Orange Uk branded software
Can anyone please help me out? I just need clear instructions on how I can update my phone .

[Q] Need Stock Rom

Hey guys, I messed up, I have an LG P500 with Koodo, but was unlocked since I'm with Rogers, when I used a rom to get 4.1.1 it relocked it and didn't take my SIM, now I'm just in need of a Stock Rom beyond belief. Please help asap need my phone to actually work!

If you need to download the original firmware of your device, please check here the The_ERROR thread wich explains it very well.
Otherwise you can also use this application (it worked for me).

pls help me with my Samsung SIIX sgh t989d koodo.. ICS 4.0.4 its an old phone but this phone is my best one..
i rooted my phone using this.

it went well..
then i backed up my rom first when i rooted it. i followed these steps..

i tried to search for stock rom and install using odin but it ends up in hotfile and that page is not working anymore. so i cant try to install stock rom using odin since i cant find the file i need..
