Greetings
After alot of trial and error and some hardcore forum searching , there was never a posted way to get isis mobile wallet working on T-Mobile network while using the SM-N900A. Since 4.4 kitkat doeesn't have host card emulation , google wallet is completely dependent on our xda developers building a lib-fix for the NFC chip. Isis is the only go to option for contactless-payment
Assuming you're rooted follow the instructions below to get Isis working on T-Mobile Network
1) Acquire the secure element SIM (Call T-mobile they should send you one for free)
2) Install the Tweaked ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2625946 (thanks to @dwitherell)
2) Flash the .zip with safestrap (thanks to @Hashcode ) under the section "Want Stock T-Mobile build.prop again?" at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2485441
Please please thank OP @TEKHD for his amazing work.
3) Go to the play store , now you'll find isis mobile wallet by T-Mobile listed , download it
4) Open the app and get the "phone is rooted " error
5) Download the xposed framework apk fie and install it from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401 (Thanks to @rovo89 )
Follow the instructions on this thread to get the xposed framework working (install/app>framework>install/app>framework>reboot)
6) Download the xposed modules to bypass the root check for isis from http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2382428&d=1384044540 (thanks to @rovo89 again for his help)
7) Restart phone again
8) Voila , you can finally use some sort of NFC payment on your SM-N900A with a t-mobile SIM card
Please take a backup from safestrap and flash away , as usual no guarantee's that you won't brick your phone. If you'd like me to make a video , drop a comment and I'll upload!
Trying this now...
I think I got the idea but a video would help other members.
Edit:
I tried it...
I installed the Tweaked Rom (which i must say looks pretty bad ass haven't had a chance to really play with it)
Reboot phone get logged in and so on (wifi working properly)
Install the "want stock T-Mobile build.prop again?" .zip, (then it breaks my wifi...) I'm no longer able to connect to a wifi network after this point.
I followed all instructions accordingly not sure where i messed up. I'll keep messing with it when i get home.

mno error on tmobile note 3
I had an att note 3 with se sim, and used isis many times. Sold it, got a tmobile note 3, and isis always sends me an email saying it failed. I got a tmobile sim, setup my account with tmobile isis app, tried to log in and get mno , mobile network operator, error. Its seems lame to me that carriers would do this, isis official statement is it wont work on unlocked devices. ATT isis app UI
compared to tmo and vzw looks so much nicer.
com.isis.mclient.tmobile.activity.apk
Can somebody post the apk file please. The playstore is not letting me download this for t-mobile galaxy s2.

Did you get your wifi problem solved? Just wondering because I'm planning on doing this method. TIA
Can anybody with an official OTA Kitkat update confirm if this will work?
If nobody can confirm this, is it possible to delete this thread?

I had no problem hiding my root. I used Root Cloak. What I need is a way to use ISIS Wallet with my unlocked AT&T Note 3 on T-Mobile network/SE simcard. When I go to the Google Play Store, it says that T-Mobile ISIS Wallet app is incompatible with my phone. I've searched for days for a solution but came up empty.

I've decided that it would be better for me to just sell this phone and purchase a T-Mobile version for several reason.
No headache setting up ISIS.
WiFi Calling
AWS band
Unlocked bootloader
Custom ROMs
Thanks for all your help.
Thanx for the Isis apk..I updated and broke the app..ive searching for an hour

Can you suggest what should be the similar steps to be done on another ATT device to be used in a T-mobile network? I have a ATT galaxy s3.
What is the significance of Tweaked ROM ? What functionality does that change?
What properties in the build.prop need to be changed for T-mobile softcard to work in a At&T phone? I tried changing ro.product.model, ro.product.name=d2tmo,ro.product.device=d2tmo. But no luck in making the app work. When I launch app, I get a message as a different sim card is required. This is despite having the enhanced T-mobile Sim card.

When I got up today. I updated my NFL Mobile. Then when I open the app. It seems as though greedy NFL people have blocked the use of the app. On modified android phones. I have AT&T not looking for the Verizon APK.
I'm looking for a older AT&T version, or even better a hacked version to use the new one with modified andriods. So if you have or can do either would be greatly appreciated.
Note: If you have a Modified or Rooted phone and get the NFL Mobile update now or in the near future. I suggest you do not update it. This really is a must have app. for me. Thanks.
I am sorry but that would be considered warez at this point. XDA is not the place to look for this.
Thanks
Friendly Neighborhood Moderator
EDIT: OK after further research there is the app for AT&T or Sprint that does not have any streaming capabilities. I assume you mean this version. And if I read your request correctly it will not work at all on rooted devices. I believe making it work on rooted devices is a worthwhile endeavor and is not considered warez.
So thread opened
Here is the old version: http://db.tt/mwdRhFcR
Tried to disable root in superuser and hide my root. Neither helped.
OK, I just tried to get this app on my work AT&T tablet and it says "Not available for this carrier". However I installed it and ran it fine on my rooted Sprint S3. If no longer available for AT&T then this would be considered warez. Although if the older version still works I see no harm in that being shared but it will eventually stop working.

Thanks, but I already took it from a back up ROM I had. I tried posting a link of it to my OP but as I was doing so it was locked. Now that its back open thanks. For people that want to use this first uninstall the updated version completely or it will not allow you to install. I will continue to look or work on the update file to see if I can get it to work with rooted phones.

The version I have is AT&T and it does not give me the not available error. It updates just fine, its when you open it. You get a Error unable to use with modified versions of android.

OK. They must not be allowing new installs on AT&T and are updating for previous users BUT they killed it for rooted phones...interesting. I will try on my work's S3 tomorrow on AT&T to see if I get the same "Not available for your carrier" message.
The old NFL app won't work anyways it forces you to update

Is this what you get when using the above link? If so I will post mine as mine is NFL 13 and not 12. Mine still works good and has not forced me to update. It is a free app. and I dont use any of the functions you have to pay for but works for me. Once games start though I don't know if it will continue to work the way it did last year as I believe they change parts of it when the season ends they update. Then before drafts begin another update and now right before season begins another update. With little changes in each.
n that s the old nfl 12 app from the market. it wasnt compatible with my nexus 7 last year so i had it laying around from when i had to side load it. ill try the link above and see what i get

Check out stevotdo's link. Have to do both because he made a rooted kernel image for us. Can't flash anything until the bootloader is unlocked.
He lays it out in a very easy and manageable way. The thing that takes the longest is emailing Huawei and getting the phones unlock code.
It took about 4-5 hours for them to reply to mine. Seems some people are not getting replies. My recommendation is to send an email late in the day. Check the time difference between where you are and China. If you send it when they are in the office you'll most likely get a response like I did.
I titled mine "REQUEST: Y536A1 Bootloader Unlock Code"

Can't seem to install xposed framework on this phone even with root. I gave it root permission, installed/reinstalled, and rebooted several times and still get that error message.

I would advise against removing AT&T address book. When I removed it, my "Contacts" would still try to open AT&T address book and wont finish loading. Titanium backup had trouble restoring it and I had to do a factory reset. It would be helpful to have a list of bloatware apps that are safe to remove but I use this device as my main phone and I can't risk testing every app and breaking it.

This was the Rom that @jhr5474 was going to post before he moved on to another phone I had done this a while ago and just never posted it so here it is I fixed a few issues like the always updated every time you reboot and Viper4Android
I found one issue that I am trying to figure out. On my safestrap lollipop app when you click recovery reboot and it flashes kitkat kernel after you click reboot to safestrap it does not reboot you have to manually reboot the phone so I am looking into this other than that it works fine
Going to take a guess that since it isn't a Verizon ROM there's no HD calling correct?

Thanks for letting us verizon people use it.
Thanks for doing this, man--if you recall, I asked for it.
BTW, does the latest phoenix port have every fix included in it? It was working fine, then after a while I couldn't make voice calls.
is there a way to remove the 'CUSTOM' unlock icon? I've been getting this since i started fresh from NCG to install this ROM but when i restore to one of JrKruse's ROM's it's no longer displayed..Any fix for this? Thank you in advance
Well, I can not seem to get into SafeStrap. This isn't a terrible thing, considering the rom runs fine. However, I feel as though I'm missing somethig. I have tried flashing a kitkat kernel thru odin, with no luck. I have installed SafeStrap and reinstall recovery. It reads as installed. I reboot to no SafeStrap splash screen.
I know a full odin restore is never out of the question. Any other suggestions before a fresh start?

How did you get the VVM to work?
Do not disturb didnt come until later builds in this builds it is called interuptions

I reads as installed. I reboot to no SafeStrap splash screen.
I know a full odin restore is never out of the question. Any other suggestions before a fresh start?

I read online you need to edit 3 lines in your build.prop to this
ro.product.model=SM-G900V
ro.product.brand=Verizon
ro.product.name=kltevzw
ro.product.device=kltevzw
Before you install the stock vvm
Then install Verizon stock vvm apk
I pulled the apk from the vvm folder and put it on my ext SD card installed like a regular apk the I went to titanium and just restored data only from vvm I had backup but you will get the phantom messages I just disable it

I did. I couldn't figure it out, and flashed an Odin restore. This is a bonus because now I have working HD Calling. No complaints, I just couldn't figure it out.
I should clarify. HD Calling now works for me, on jrkruse's BS_FREE_OG5.
I running rooted deodex stock rom. I'm sure Android pay doesn't work because I am rooted but is there a work around?
I've read some people disabling super su and then being able to get pay to work and then turn super su back on. It didn't work for me.
I've also read that you would need to unroot, get pay to work and then root. I haven't tried this yet as I just got the phone to fully work with everything.
Anyone know how to get Android pay to work if you are rooted?

Once Knox is tripped, Samsung Pay is useless regardless what you do. Even if you unrooted and went back to stock unrooted it still won't work. Only a few select banks work with Samsung Pay and mine wasn't one so I didn't care about losing that feature.

I'm not rooted and both Samsung Pay and Android Pay work flawlessly.
Doesn't look like Android pay will work with rooted roms at the moment. Lots of people with rooted phones have the same problem. Some have gotten it to work. I've tried a few methods to hide root from Android pay and Google services but it hasn't worked. Also tried to disable supersu.
I would suspect using RootCloak in Xposed would help, but we don't have Xposed framework working on our device yet, right?

Xposed works with any of the stick deodexed roms in the android development section. I have tried xposed and root clock and it didn't work.
From what I have heard, even if you get Android Pay to accept your card on a rooted phone, it will fail at the terminal.
I haven't rooted yet, so I can't confirm. Only what I have heard.
Where does it say all cards will work with S Pay by the end of the month? I can't find that info.
thanks.

That really sucks. Oh well. No Android pay or Samsung pay for me.
I think eventually a developer will come up with a way to get either one to work while rooted.

Yep. I saw that in a post elsewhere.
When I launched Samsung pay this morning it asked me to update. After the update, Samsung pay didn't launch anymore Lol. Ah well.
Well this is somewhat official info.
http://www.techtimes.com/articles/8...why-according-to-google-security-engineer.htm
And
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62981452&postcount=55
It's nice of Google to listen to XDA. I'm sure it isn't the first time. The way I read the post by the Google engineer, it sounds like there is some hope of official support for Android pay for rooted users but most likely won't happen.
This Is Important:
The lockscreen can not be used on this rom due to the inability to edit the kernel on our phones. I included a third part lockscreen app it may lock during setup just unlock it. This part is very important once the phone boots up go through setup when finished go directly to settings/lock screen and security and change lock screen type to none. Then open HILocker and set up the lockscreen or download a different one. If you try to use the stock lockscreen it will freeze phone upon reboot and you will have to start all over. Also I currently dont have my S5 activated so you will have to let me know if data and sms/mms work. This rom is considered in the Beta Stage so things may not work and may never work because of our locked bootloaders. Thanks @kxhan15 for doing some testing for me

http://mms.vzwreseller.com/servlets/mms?X-VZW-MDN=1112223333
MDN=1112223333 changing those number to your phone number
First MMS might take a few seconds to send.
Edit: This only works with verizon service
Network issues
Hey mate @jrkruse thanks for your rooting tutorials on pb1 rom, it really helped,
I decided to flash this rom with safestrap ,
i flashed G900V_Fix Safestrap.zip
Then the Rom
Everything went well but the device won't recognize my Sim Card i don't know if it's a modem issue,
But have moved back too pb1 as this phone is my daily Driver,
Why do you think i have the insert sim issue ?

I don't have verizon service i use this device internationally as unlocked,
But using this ROM it won't detect my sim card and i think its a Radio /Modem issue, do you have a G900v modem i could flash into the rom.
I don't know if you understand what am trying too say

Do you have a verizon S5? If you goto settings/about phone if your baseband shows up the your modem is fine. If you delete SecSetupWizard2015 from the system/app folder it should remove the the invalid sim message. Other than that I dont know
Just a quick question as to what is the correct baseband for this ROM.
Settings / about shows I'm on baseband
G900VVRU2B0K3 - Is this the correct BB version?
Also when I follow the instructions to fix MMS via Galaxy tools, send & receive MMS still fails.
Appreciate any insight & I can't thank you enough for continuing to bring the awesome goodies for the Verizon S5

No network
Did not work on my case . No network at all , it show up for a second and go away. ( call not working also ). Try installing 3 time on bok3 , og5 and pb1 baseband , same think no network. On verizon .

I use a G900v(Verizon)
Just to know if i made a mistake , i just reflashed this Rom. Everything works fine except this network issue, it detects network and it loses it in seconds, i get two bars and immediately i get the round error network icon,
I tried to reboot it just does the same, it gains and loses network in seconds, Just like a off and on cycle
sorry for bad image quality , but thats the only means which i could share
