When I try to send a SMS, the phone adds a prefix to the number (+45) which is wrong. It should add +47. Does anyone know where I can change or turn this of?

Hello,
I just bought motorola a3100, and I have a problem regarding sending sms.
Everything works fine, I can call everybody, but I cant send SMS messages. If I get to inbox - tools - options, and under "tap an account to change settings" messages has (*) symbol, and I can't change options in messages (service center number)
so please, is it possible to change default value of service number from registry, or any other way?
thank you very much
Hi,
is there any way to define when your own caller id shall be sent and when not? AFAIK you can only enable or disable it or sometimes set it only for contacts, but is there any third party contact add on which lets you save a flag to enable/disable it for contacts individually?
Thanks.
Nobody an idea?
Really nobody?
If i recall correctly, its the Operator that determines whether you're callerID is shown or not.. and if you want to toggle it you usually change a setting in your phone, Correct? BUT it also send a packet to the operator notifying them of this change and then they toggle your calledID.
First, I have checked in threads and dint find answer.
Second, HTC is rooted, using NextGen 1.5 rom.
Problem : Please check the attached pics.
In sms, when i type "paev"..i get the suggested correct name "parv" with 'mobile' and 'home'. But when i type the correct "parv", i get the same numbers with 'mobile' and 'history'. I want "home" instead of "history"
Other issue is, I have saved many numbers as 'mobile' and 'other'...but in sms contact list, many of those 'other' numbers comes under "VOICE" tag.
These are not the major issues, but please help me with solving them.
Ok, I tried to partly figure out this problem..... the "home-->"history" problem occurs only when I have a sms in my inbox of that contact. I delete the message, problem gets solved. But i cant keep on erasing my messages...
so..any one help please ?
Set the home number as default. It may solve while you use it more. You can use simple third party SMS apps like SMS composer, handcent SMS, Go SMS...

Does anyone know how to remove the call back number on every single sms message I receive? Even if the person has it turned off on their phone it still shows up on mine when they send me a message. I would just use another messaging app because that fixes the problem but then I can send mms messages. I'm on a local carrier and can't find the settings to put in to fix this either. Any help is appreciated thanks.
*can't send mms I meant to say.
