I decided to try it out just to see how well it works by comparing benchmarks. Turns out, it works well.

do u mean ART? android run time... good scores if you are on stock!
if so i dont think it can be called optimized dalvik cause dalvik refers to the dalvik virtual machine of java.
Are you talking about ART or the Qualcomm Dalvik?
Sent from my HTC One XL using Tapatalk
I think he's talking about ART but has just misidentified the terminology.
Sent from my Evita
No, the Qualcomm optimized dalvik. I'll post a link in a minute.
Edit: here is the thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2546120
Just follow the instructions and you should be fine. I only flashed the dalvik as I'm on beanstalk 4.4
Sent from my One X using xda app-developers app
Excuse my ignorance but does that mean the benchmark program (Antutu) uses non native code. Isn't that counter intuitive for a benchmarking app?
Or does absolutely everything on Android use the Dalvik VM.
Android uses dalvik by default. On kitkat, you can enable ART and that uses the naive code stuff. My guess is that ART boosts benchmarks by loading the code a bit faster as it is ready to be launched.

Tested both ART & Dalvik opt + bionic .
I prefer ART , runs much smooth.

I have'nt seen this posted on here yet,but i just wanted to educate the people that don't know.Heres a sweet tool that i've been using for about a year now,it does a great job changing fonts, boot animations(it gives the option of changing the install directory)process's and alot more. Its the easiest way i've found to change fonts and animations and the apps $1.99,you will have to test it on different roms, there might be a list of compatibe devices, some it wont work on with the boot animations, like CM,but its never bricked my phone,it just wont install if its not compatible.

Hello,
I switched from an iPhone and would never switch back, but I was shocked that the stock email app could not zoom out to view a whole HTML mail. First I thought it is a problem with my phone, but google shows me that this is on all phones. I tried kaiten mail, but it has the same problem and additionally an ugly UI. What do you use for your mail?
I use cyanogenmod 10 and it has the Apollo music player instead of the stock one, is it better than the stock or would you recommend the stock one, I assume play music it is called.
Thanks

I use MailDroid Pro. Works great. I don't use my phone for music- that's what my iPod is for!

have you tried this one? I use stock gmail app but in changelog their say about pinch to zoom options, and it has a lot of positive comments
Thanks but sadly the same result, I can zoom in but not out to see the whole message, the same also in kaiten, the paid successor of k9.
Any other hint?
Thanks

Maybe you should wait for contribution from Sparrow team in stock Gmail app I suppose the stock app will change in near future.
HTC Sense is the best thing to ever happen to android. With a simple skin you can change the appearance and design of your phone entirely. I have taken the time to learn the methods of creating a new skin for my device: and have enjoyed both the process and the results. And now, I would like to share the experience with you! My latest selection, entitled; "Bliss Series”, is the most refined product of mine thus far. I hope you have as much fun with it, as I did creating it!

its working fine. you should have read the info box on the first start
you need to download a map, otherwise you will not see more than that.
its an OFFLINE navigation system.
Not to intuitive. There was no pop up for me at least. Downloaded great Britain map and it found me on but it couldn't find a base that I work at daily while offline and online it said route is blocked
Now it is force closing attached screenshot, any suggestions?

thanks for your work.
Sorry to sound negative I really appreciate your work.
I've had it work on several occasions on my phone as a mouse.
So when I hover a menu on say Amazon, it will drop down without clicking it.
I even tested it on a few mouseover test pages and it was working really well.
I'm 100% certain it works I even made a video of it on my friends phone.
I've yet to recognize when this "bug" happens but it happens every now and then.
Sent from my GT-I9505 using xda app-developers app
But when I tried even stock browser not dropping dropdown menu, just magnifieing it...what to say about Chrome
Can any one also confirm that is Air view able to open dropdown menu or show 8ntegrated onfo or links...afik it just magnifyies. Only spen buten opens dropdown menu
Yeah the Samsung browser magnifies but in chrome it acts as a mouse.
I'm on 4.2.2 rooted stock.
Interesting is that it happens even if all air things are disabled.

I haven't used Chrome yet ...
It happens at random for me, I haven't noticed this behavior on the last 2 updates though.
It works on all sites.
Any way I can downgrade Chrome to try and replicate it.
Anyhow, it's definitely possible to get it working, I just figured someone with the knowledge might want to give it a try.
