Hi all,
I looked on eBay amazon but I can't seem to find any gel cases for surface rt.
Is there any technical or commercial reasons why no makes these type case for the surface?
BTW I hoping for one just for device itself with no keyboard attached.
Thanks
Slyi
Well, the kickstand probably makes it awkward... there are some cases out there, but most people I know with a Surface just don't bother. The things are absurdly tough.

Havent had a problem, use a leather magnetic case from eddie bauer that I found at Best Buy mobile.
Does anybody have or use the Seidio leather case for the epic? Just wondering how well it fits the phone or how well the phone slides in and out of it. Also how easily can the magnet be clamped and unclamped while not looking at it.
I bought the bestsources (seller's name, not necessarily a description, though I've had good experiences with them ) case -- I had one for my Touch Pro, one for my N900, and now one for my Epic when it gets here.
In the meantime, I'm using the N900's case for it. Fitting, since I usually used the Touch Pro's case for the N900... :/ I wonder if I'm even going to use the Epic's case.
The magnet hasn't caused any problems at all with the Epic that I've noticed.

The leather case is designed to fit a bare device so it will slide in/out smoothly, The magnet is pretty strong but works fluently with the case.
The magnet does not affect the phone.
I bought a leather holster at the Sprint store today actually.
It has a magnet, but it is not near as strong as some of the ones I have had in the past, but it still holds the flap strong against the case.
This particular case even has the Galaxy S logo etched into the metal in the middle of the flap - yeah its sexy.
$34 at Sprint, and since its Galaxy S Branded, I think it's a good deal.
Hey all,
ive been trying some of the best cases out there for my SGS including PDair, Case-Mate Though, TPU, SGP and some other cheap onens..
(the SGP one actually claims to be an anti slip material but got nothing to support it..)
Some of them have a great design, othere are very protective but non have the feature im realy looking for which is what called 'Anti-Slip'. most of my IPod cases for example had that ability in them. a simple silicone that that helps your device not slip from your hands.
Does anyone knows about any silicone case that have this?
Thanks!
Have you ever tried gel type cases - they feel like rubber and very grippy

Hi there...
Did you already saw this one??
Samsung Galaxy S Commuter Series Case from OTTERBOX
Do a search on Youtube to see review...
I can't post any links yet...
I have one just like this
http://cgi.ebay.com/Samsung-Vibrant-Galaxy-S-I9000-Genuin-Mesh-Case-Red-/320605390228
Surf around and you might find a slightly better deal, but make sure its that same one. It has a very rubbery feel which doesnt slip at ALL, i loved it. Only thing is that it doesnt offer much protection from falls.
the cheapest safest option is to just put some industrial tape around your hand and stick your phone to it
this way your phone will never slip and is always in your hand.... you dont need to waste time searching your pockets ..
but the only downside i have is i have to wipe my rear with my left hand now

Seriously?! What do you do to have such slippery hands? On second thought, don't answer that
I have a Case-Mate Tough Case and that's not only "rubbery", but also very structured giving a VERY good grip. In fact, I had problems getting it in and out of my pocket, which annoyed me so much I gave it up.
If the Case-Mate Tough wasn't grippy enough, superglue is the only option (or duct tape if you're going for the not-so-permanent option)
Go get some skateboard Grit Tape. Guaranteed non slip...
I am currently using a Griffin Ipad1 folio case, paid $5 from the verizon sale, classy high quality leather look, well built, great protection and most importantly it doesn't block anything. I mean ANYTHING including the most important speakers which is also where the heat coming outs also. It is almost a perfect case to use it at work and school but I am trying to find something little bit different when I am using it at home.
Most of the Ipad1 folio cases will work but just depends on the style and the quality you want. I am thinking something close to the otterbox style, I tried a few cases and been reading alot online.
Otterbox, as everyone know it does not fit unless someone smart comes out with a easy way to modify it to fit then it will be the most ideal case.
Speck Candyshell hard case, some said it will fit so I ordered one from ATT (Since you don't like it you can return it back to retail store). It does but it's little bit loose so it's not secured enough and the volume down is stuck. No go.
Hp OEM case, best fit and best looking case for the touchpad but not enough protections compares to the Griffin case. If you have an OEM case, you should try out the griffin case.
After countless hours of researching... saw this little Speck IPAD1 rubber case that might work for the touchpad. It's called Speck Pixelskin Silicone Soft Grip Case for IPAD1.
Someone is selling on Ebay for $10 now, does anyone have this to confirm the fitment? Thanks,

Did the case fit your touchpad? i just picked up 2 on ebay for nephews and want to protect the tablet. thanks.
Are they are rugged cases for the Surface yet? Or any Windows RT tablets? Seems like Windows Tablets are getting no love.
Not seen any, just using a folio I picked up from Amazon for now, the Pro will hopefully get something a bit more hardcore though.
I'm using a very nice sleeve case from Amazon that fits really well and doesn't add much at all to the size. Not ruggedized but does offer padded protection and fits with touch cover attached:
EasyAcc 10.6" Tablet PC Laptop Sleeve Pouch Case Cover for Microsoft Surface RT/Pro(Black, PU Leather)
From what I've experienced and heard, however, you don't really need one. Heck, CNET dropped one from about ten feet, landed it on the edge, and it was almost undamaged!
Yeah I've heard about them being left on the roof of cars, better safe than sorry, also gives you places to put stuff of you get one with flaps and stuff..

Just came across a rugged case from Incipio:
http://www.incipio.com/bags/microsoft-surface-sleeves/capture-case-for-microsoft-surface-rt.html
Rather pricey, but looks high quality and only one I've come across in the year I've owned my Surface.
If you're in the right country you can see more on the MS site as well, Incipio stuff on there, wonder what deal might be going off in the background...

I've just replaced my folio cover with one of the Snugg ones, much nicer than the folio, much...

Never heard of Ghostek before. Just wondered if they are actually a Case maker or just repackaging someone elses cases. As alot of their cases look similar to many others on the market. Reviews of there cases seems a pretty mixed bag. Was looking at there new Note 4 waterproof case.
There cases are average at best, they offer decent protection but its very flimsy and button covers too sensitive when barely pressed on.

I've never heard of them either. They don't look like anything that I would declare to be WONDERFUL or Supreme, but looks alright. I'm probably not going to buy it.
Yeah alot of their reviews seem a pretty mixed bag. Why wont someone offer a decent looking water resist case I just dont get it.
I just got this case last week...its a decent case my only complaint is that I cannot use the fingerprint reader on the note 4. Overall its great protection....better than the otterbox case. I also like the fact that it locks in the stylus.
Avoid! I bought the one with integrated screen protector. The side buttons were WAY too sensitive and the screen protector was a joke, being way you tacky and leaving air gaps between screen and film. Better stick with more reputable case makers. I bought several Spigen covers which are all much better quality.
