First time installing to your Micromax A90s/Blu Vivo 4.3, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're NOT RUNNING A ICS KERNEL or you will brick your Device..
- Make sure you're running a proper working CWM TWRP or COT.
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Copy ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash zip from SDCard
- Reboot

auto brightness- works
Bug-
1- video call option in dialer doesn't do anything but video call works nonetheless
2- Music player - crashes and does not run. "unfortunately music has stopped"
i checked these all. xposed theme installer already preinstalled so as xposed framework.
i wonder why micromax didn't hire Shivam and Drak4droid and paid handsomely
Kudos Shivam and Dark4droid for bringing 4.2.2 flavor, nothing beats FM radio and 3g Direct video call features which are not available in Cyanogen mod but available right here under the hood.

My heartly thanks to you also as you were the person because of whom we got the first JB firmware to run on our A90s device.
So am really very thankful from my core of heart @lopestom for giving JB on our Device.
Finally no issue rom for me. Cell netowrk n battery drain problem fixed. Blow to unlock is another cool feature. the best part is xposed is integrated so with gravitybox and xtheme app who needs cm10.1.

Btw and this is just an hint, pre-installing the exposer framework and the gravity box in the ROM is not an very good idea.
If you removed them from the rom zip, install the ROM, and then download and install the exposer framework and his modules, you will see better performance. I know the G3 build uses that, and you based that option from that build.
Thats why i didnt add those to my build...
And to conclude i always love to see new development getting life

Incompatible apps on Play...Google+ app incompatible showing. I guess some problem with LCD density....
This is what i tried :
Cleared playstore data
Changed LCD density to 160(default)
Reboot
open play again > accept T&C
Look for Google+ app ...not found
Searched through browser
...The app is not compatible with this device
I have not come across any other incompatible app...but i really need Google+ to be running on this Amazing Rom. Help!

Confirmed that Google plus not installing. I download apk and tried but app was not installed. Will check again

tried everything i could possibly do...have reverted back all the changes i made,(only gravity box remains...also i have used fullscreen toggle to hide system navigation softkeys ) .......... still google+ app says "Your device is not compatible with this version" Fix required.

Yeah those G apps erros...
I had that problem too on my build( stable v1.1 )the cause is the pre-installed Gapps.
I had to build an new fixed version (v1.1_v2), just remove ALL pré installed gapps, clean the gapps resources ( etc/ permissions; / framework ; etc )
Then just add an second download link to Gapps ( you can use the Gapps i have in my thread, works great)
And its done

• How to flash this kernel ?
> Enter fastboot vol + and attach your phone wait till led go blue and use flash-tool to use fast-boot.
• How to change CPU frequency and Voltage ?
> Install any CPU control application from Play Store preferably Trickster MOD
> For changing voltage swipe and go to specific settings and CPU voltages increase or decrease voltage here. Optimum value is 75mV
• How to enter to recovery ?
> Press vol + or - while phone boots and Phoenix logo appears and led glows.
• How to use vibration intensity control ?
> echo "your-value" > /sys/devices/virtual/timed_output/vibrator/level

> I have attached an init.d script to set vibration at boot. Just rename it remove .txt extension.
• How to overcome battery drain ?
> Kernel is not responsible for high battery drains it may be no. of factors such as Apps/System services or Data networks.
• How to use init.d support ?
> you have built in init.d support just go through XDA for init.d scripts and put then in init.d folder and set 755 permission to them.
• How to use extra modules provided ?
> Best way is to use init.d script to load them on boot.
e.g If you want to use the CIFS module. You have to first place the CIFS.ko module provided in /system/lib/modules. Then you need to create an init.d script in /system/etc/init.d with any name say 99modules with following code

Do not update your phone if you get update available. It is coming only on this kernel and not on stock one. I suggest you to not to update it it isnt anything new and i have tried it.

#UPDATE Minor Update added : I have made another boot.img with stock sony logo for those who want stock sony logo without any heavy edits :good:
Its same version no improvement or optimization from v1.2 its same i.e. 1.2 with stock logo.
My review after one week or so of usage:
1)This kernel is very stable!
2)The UI is 90% smooth. There are some lags, but I think it's normal.
3) Gaming performance: as this is close to stock it surprisingly offers more performance than stock in terms of gaming. However it needs some improvements. For example subway surfers occasionally lag, but the game is 99% playable and so on.
Looking for in next update:

-intelli-plug support
-intelli-demand governor
-maybe some multi touch improvements if possible.

I agree with Marius Cristian but i think some lags isn't normal in UI
Maybe you can develop a kernels:
1. With OC @1,2 GHz
2. With OC @more than 1,2 GHZ
3. Without OC
And add some governors?
Well...I can live with this until update. Then we'll see...

Download and extract and first flash boot.img as a flashtool and then disconnect phone and boot it when bootsplash comes press +vol and enter recovery and flash the only modules_phoenix if you want to add extra modules extract the External Loadable Modules and add them to modules folder manually and set 644 permission to them.

Here I present you guys a brand new update to Phoenix 2.0 Kernel to 2.2.2.
Features :
• Rock stable : Tested for a week by me
• New Thermal Driver : Intelli-Thermal by @faux123 ported by me for our device.. to control heat while over clocking and it seems to work properly if it is set properly.
• First to get this feature for our XL
• It starts CPU throttling to get CPU temperatures down and even turns of core 1 to get out of extreme temperatures 55 C or more, Worked perfectly in tests.
• OC to 1.5 GHz, Stock boot frequency at 1.2 GHz
• Auto Hotplugging : Enable 2 Cores as default for Optimal Performance/Battery ratio.
• FIOPS Scheduler added
• VR Scheduler added
• Same other features as of Phoenix 2.0.
• No UV by default (For max battery backup/performance UV up to -62mv.

Isn't OmniSwitch kinda unstable? I tried it on my E when I had Carbon, it didn't work as expected at all.

Carbon has one nice feature. When you took your phone from the desk to hand it turns on.

also they merged active display.. I'm loving this feature.. There are so many features that i had to mention their website than writing about features..
Unfortunatelly some patches fail in framework and it requires re-writing them.

Problem flashing
I tried to flash che cyano from your blog but i got error 7, so i flashed the boot.img through recovery, than purple red and when i tried to go into recovery, nothing happened.. tried several times and stuck in that situation, flashed vengance kernel V2 and i saved the device but i still have the stock rom and now i have twrp installed instead of the CWM, what happened? Can someone helps me? Thx in advance
Just flash cwm recovery thru fastboot, and reflash your stock rom, if you stuck in twrp recovery, you still can back to cwm and your backup rom...

Installation Instructions
Create a backup of your current phone setup via CWM or TWRP.
Wipe Data/Factory Reset, and Wipe Cache
Wipe your Dalvik Cache (for CWM, go to Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache)
Install the ROM ZIP
Reboot
NOTE: It is normal to have a long boot time for the first time it runs. After it has created the cache it needs, it will boot shorter the next time. Also, create a backup of your current phone setup in case something goes wrong.

Q: Why is WiFi not working?
A: I am already aware that WiFi isn't working. It is a problem with ath6kl drivers, it does not assign the correct MAC address (bluetooth works fine however). I'm currently reviewing commits made by TheWhisp in his GitHub for his Cyanogenmod 11 version for tass (Galaxy Mini 2) which solves the issue. Please do NOT PM me about this, or report it as a bug, because it is being fixed at this moment.

Q: When will the next release be?
A: The next release will be released when it's ready. Do not ask for ETAs. When a commit has been updated in GitHub, it will be added in new releases. If you want to help out, report the bugs either in this thread or in GitHub.
Q: What about OTA updates?
A: I'm thinking of introducing OTA updates for this version, although it's a 50-50 chance that it will push through. It MAY happen in the future, we'll see.

Tips to Avoid Battery Drain
A. Modify Kernel Settings
To do that, go to Settings > About Phone and tap the "Build Number" seven (7) times. You will now see "Developer Options" and "Performance" options in your Settings app. Go back and tap "Performance" and tap on Processor, then tap on CPU governor. Select "Lionheart" and make sure "Set on boot" option is checked. You could also try reducing the minimum CPU frequency to 122 MHz, although it is not recommended. Go back, then tap I/O Scheduler and make sure that "DEADLINE" is selected (it should be by default), then make sure "Set on boot" is checked.
B. Use the pico version of Google Apps
In the original post, the link to download Google Apps is the link for the pico version (about 37MB). It does not include most of the bloat that Google adds to its devices (Chrome, YouTube, etc.). You can install these apps from the Play Store if you need them, and you don't need to install them if you don't want them.

Yeah, to make sure it's not only on my case. But those who are just willing to do so.
As for the theming engine, I haven't tested it yet 'cause there's no WiFi, I can't download themes to the phone. But theoretically, I'm 99% sure it works. I haven't modified anything related to Cyanogenmod anyway, so it should work as intended.

This Part I Have Copied From Old Kernel Adiutor Mod Thread
Kernel Download Support-
I Have Modified This Unbranded Release So That Kernel Devs Can Add Support (And Override Whatever Is Included In The App Already) For Their Kernel's Downloads By Including /res/kernel_adiutor_mod/downloads.json In Their Ramdisk.
Why? Well... It Removes The Need For Commits To Add Support For The Kernels Within The App. Want Support? Add The File To The Ramdisk. Next Time When A User Flashes The Kernel, The App Will Display Them With Your Downloads.

The original app required the files to either be downloads.json to be compiled into the app, or in the app's data directory. I simply added the /res directory and made the priority /res > data dir > app's resources. So the information is the same.

This File Is Static, Once Configured And Added To The Ramdisk It Will Remain Valid Unless You Remove/Move The Link File. It Will Pull This File Each Time The Dowloads Section Is opened, Pulling In Whatever Changes You've Made To The Linked File.
For An Example Of The Downloads Link, Check Any Of The Ones Included Here As Well As The Example In Grarak's Wiki. Version 17 is working just fine on my Nexus 6 on Oreo, it is odd to see big/little core control options though. I didn't even know that my Shamu could have that option.
