hi
i bought a transformer last night
it has B50 serial number
it has 3.0.1 hc and i update two times with OTA and now it is on frimware 8.6.5.13
the problem is that i cant get into APX mode
i turn it off and press vol up+power same time but screen is blank
sorry for my language
It's supposed to be blank
Its supposed to be blank. If your in windows open device manager and see if its installed under USB or Portable Devices. Make sure you install the correct drivers for it. If you are running linux type "lsusb" into console to display connected usb devices. Also when using adb you can do "adb devices". It will show if your device is connected "properly"
thank you guys
FIXED
I need a little help my device is stuck in apx mode (blank screen with power led on) i have uid (cpuid) and sbk i have read a lot fom this forum and have all the tool to root, flash, load.. But my main problem is that when i reset my acer a500 and the usb is attached the windows 7 recognizes the driver and (sound pops up) and the driver (acer picasso usb boot recovery driver) is there but no tool e.g apxtool or fastflash or ics rooting nothing works or regocznies the device coz when i press any option or press the key to continue the drive drops and vanishes from the window usb list in device manager and i have to manually reset acer again to get the driver back but still no use as command prompt tells me that no device is attached or found. Please help as this acer is my wifes gift to me and im trying hard to get it back its totally dead
How to set "usb debugging" on my softbricked phone.
My phone shows as "android phone ->android composite adb interface" in device manager.
When I try open command windows and type : "adb devices" at platform tool it not shows my device.
I've installed adt bundle and qualcomm driver on my win 7.
I tried install pda net-32 bit but I failed because pda net doesn't find my device.
I can not enter to recovery mode by press power + vol up it stuck on the red screen with little word "recovery" at right up at the screen, just it.
By pressing power + vol down it just show boot logo.
Can I make it show as usb mass storage devices other than android phone in device manager? So I can flash my backup rom.
I try search related topic in this forum but my problems is different.
I hope somebody like to teach me to solve my problem. :crying::crying::crying:
Thanks in advance
as i know Your phone should must be open in download mode to flash rom
if you are not able to open download mode then you cant do anything
that sucks
damn that sucks:crying:
I was following the steps from xda guide as i seen it from the link bellow :http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guide-lenovo-tab-2-a10-70-root-t3279322
in the third session "3. Install Custom Recovery" at the fifth step
"Connect the turned-off tablet to the PC. Recovery will flash in a matter of seconds and you will get a big green OK on the software."
i got te following wrong message: error (2005) not start bootrot (something like that)
So i made the huge mistake to plug - off the usb cable from my pc and i tried to repeat the fifth step the device didn't respond so i plugged it off again and i tried to boot it up but it wasn't responding at all.
Is there any way to boot it and hard reset it?
PS. The tablet is fully charged.
Did u figure out anything?
Hi guys,
I bricked my lenovo tab too with format tab in sptools (what a dummy I was :silly.
The tablet was nearly dead, not visible in windows (device manager) nor linux (lsusb) and no vibration or display at all when I pressed the power button.
I managed to get it revived by following these steps :
0. prepare sptools on the computer in download mode (download only) and ready to flash a rom (waiting for a connection)
1. remove back cover on the tab (begin with the usb port on top with your fingers and use a plastic tool to get the job done) and unplug the battery pin
2. press vol+ and vol- (not that easy without the backcover) and hold until the end
3. plug in the usb cable to the computer
4. plug the battery pin
5. prey your computer to recognize the tablet and start flashing
I hope this can help.
And don't forget : NEVER use the format tab in sptools with this tablet
Enjoy
Thank you very much, it helped and now works like a charm

Works! Thank you So much you saved my life brother
Thanks, it acually worked.
Hi there . So I bricked my Lenovo as well with format tab and now it's not recognized by computer at all even after trying with battery unplug . I suspect that it's a driver issue and that I should install windows 7 instead of using 10 . Can somebody pls tell me what windows and drivers were you using when you u bricked it . I am 6 years late lol.
Have one Nexus 5 with "no command " showing on screen so i tried to flash it with Nexus root toolkit, phone froze and after that its dead and when i try to plug it on comp i just get USB composite device with yellow triangle in device manager. Phone is currently dead , not able to enter download mode, no bootloader mode, not showing anything on charger and not turning on.
Any ideas or suggestions please.
Try to update drivers from device manager if its showing a triangle when u connect ur phone! and install [pda net drivers ..
try this method it worked for me! while connecting to charger not on pc or lappy wall charger press Vol+ and Vol- and power button at the same time and connect it to the charger!!
