[Q] Flash back to Stock? - HTC One S

How do I relock my bootloader to flash back to stock? Currently I have the t-mobile version HTC one s (S4), and I'm on cwm 6.0.3.1 with cm11. I want to flash back to the lastest stock and bootloader. Can someone tell me how and which ruu to use?

Do I need to have SS-on to be able to use stock roms?

So I am using a custom rom cygon on my phone and it is very buggy with me. I want to go back to stock version of the HTC sensation stock rom, and then when ICS comes out I am hopping I can just use the official update for it.
So my question is can I:
Flash stock T-mobile rom
Update phone normally after without messing with SS-OFF (unrooting my phone)?
Yes just flash the stock Rom via RUU. You will want to use the RUU_Pyramid_TMOUS_1.50.531.1_Radio_10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M_rel" RUU from here. This will have you set to get the official OTA for the TMOUS HTC Sensation 4G when T-Mobile finally pushes it out.
It does not matter about S-off or S-on when it is a Stock ROM.
no
you can flash without s-on, if you unfurtunatly have s-on and wont to use a rom with a kernel mod you can use last version of 4ext toouch with smart-flash.

Stock AT&T One X /EVITA/ Recovery Image?

Looking for the stock evita recovery image so i can update my unlocked, rooted One X to 1.85 (yes i have ota rootkeeper). I don't want to flash the RUU or use a custom rom as I did that already and felt that stock rom was the best for me.
TIA!

RUU = ROM Upgrade Utility. Running the RUU, be it 1.73, 1.82 or 1.85 will return your phone to bone stock of that firmware. Be sure to re lock your bootloader before running the RUU.
Yeah just re-lock the bootloader, flash the 1.85 RUU, unlock it then push a recovery and root.

Yep that's what I did. I just wanted a way to be unlocked and have the stock recovery.

[Q] Questions on RUU

Stock rooted 2.2, hboot 1.14, bootloader unlocked, S-Off, TWRP 2.3.3
I'm going to update to a newer ROM (Scott's CleanROM maybe, I like Sense) and I'd like to get the latest firmware and it seems that the easiest way to do that is to just run an RUU once rather than flashing multiple zips.
I've not run an RUU before so I'm a bit unclear what it does. I know it returns the phone to "stock" but some of the ancillary details aren't clear. Will it relock my bootloader? (Do I need to relock it before running the RUU?) Will it overwrite my recovery?
Should I run the latest RUU (3.18) before flashing a new ROM to get the lasted radios and other firmware? Or should I worry about that stuff after a new ROM? If I don't update the firmware and just flash a 4.1/4.2 ROM will that cause issues or instability?
No you don't need to relock sence you are s-off yes it will overwrite your recovery so after it is done you will need to fastboot a recovery with s-off you can run any ruu but I would recommend the newest one if you are going to run jb roms but you will need to downgrade your touchscreen firmware if you use aosp roms and older version of twrp there is a thread for that in original development

[Q] Stock/Custom ROM Flashing help

Hello All,
Sorry for my lack of knowledge. I've been searching for answers for quite some time but all was getting a bit vague. So I have to put my questions here.
1. I have HTC One S S4, 4.1.1 stock, HBOOT 2.15.0000, Rooted with bootloader unlocked, CID = BM_001 (Bell Mob Canada), Software No. 3.16.666.9, TWRP Recovery, made a backup of System and Boot using TWRP
*Rooted and bootloader unlocked using AIO Tool by Hasoon
Now I have some questions regarding stock and custom ROM flashing.
2. If I have to "unroot" or revert to stock ROM, do I have to do the following?
- Lock Bootloader
- Flash stock recovery (I suppose extracting it from the OTA zip?)
- Flash the OTA zip (I downloaded stock OTA_Ville_U_JB_45_S_BM_3.16.666.9_1.11.50.05.28_10.27.50.08L_release_308167fun0bzhoz2tch0mh.zip, there was no RUU for this carrier)
- OR flashing the firmware.img from the OTA zip?
I am all confused about how I will flash stock firmware as there is no RUU for Bell Mobility JB, just the OTA which is 600+ MB.
Will that be all?
3. Can I flash a Stock ROM other than BM?
- Is there an International carrier free version that I can flash?
- Any drawbacks of this process?
4. If I want to go with flashing a custom ROM, will I have to something further? E.g
- S-off
- SuperCID (Not possible with HBOOT 2.15)
5. Other than battery Issue, I believe there’s this Camera issue which don’t understand in particular. Is there no ROM which can provide the same Camera functionality as Stock? What’s the ROM that provides the closest functionality to that of the Stock?

-you cant flash ota trough twrp, you have to wait for a ruu
(or get s-off, then you can flash older ruu and do normal ota trough stock rom)
first flash recovery then lock
your CID allows what you can flash + if no s-off you can go lower than your current state/hboot
for flashing only custom roms s-off of supercid is not needed, you might need an updated firmware for the new kernel on asop.
if you want only stock, there are also stock custom roms (with/without bloatware) that are recovery flashable
try facepalm or moonshine if you want soff.

Thanks. Maybe S-Off is the last resort.

Resetting htc one m8

Anybody know how to reset it without losing root and s-off?
HTC ONE M8?
Flash the RUU, from here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2727831.
You'll be on the stock ROM, with stock recovery, but still be rooted, and S-Off.
