Hello friends, I'm new here so forgive my bad English.
So, I'm using the rom JellyAOSP v. 4.5, and is really good, but I'm having problems with the app Proxydroid that I use for increase the speed of 3G.
In stock rom it's works very well and I can use whatsapp and instagram with no problems, but in this rom, it even connects, but I don't get use the Instagram and whatsapp. It's like I'm not connected.
Can you help me?

I noticed that live video streaming doesn't work like on the stock rom or maybe its just my phone. All that happens is it will go to the page but not show the live streaming window, its just blank. I flashed back to the froyo stock rooted ROM and it works fine, can anyone explain why? Thanks!

Did you check your network settings and wifi on the stock.
Yes, the same options were checked off in new ROM as well. So I don't know what caused it to happen. Tango, Qik, and all that works fine. It's only when I go to a web site streaming live video.

Is there any way or application to improve the internet bandwidth of an android phone ? or is there an app where we can decide which apps to connect to internet at a specific time period ? please help !!

Droidwall works well. You can't schedule times but it will let you decide which apps can connect on 3g and wifi

it seems to be a hardware limitation. But in some cases can be improoved by customs roms, etc.
Normally it's already at max performance. Because of this, I haven't There are some apps, but I think they aren't really efficient.
I think it's easier to have a router firmware update than an app to improove wireless efficiency.
Hi. I installed CM7 on my mums Galaxy Gio.
(Sms wasnt working)
Ok so i just got SMS working by turning off data, but this means no internet, not even on WIFI. If i turn data back on then lose ability to send SMS.
Anyone know of a reason that would cause this?

First of all you should use phiexz cm7 roms, they are most stable. If you go to his gooinside.me page, download 20120325 release, most stable, easiest install. Dont use the newer version, and 3 patches, and still bugs. (Own experience). Good luck kid, my mum and I own gio to .

I am running that rom on her phone. Seems that the problem is common with Samsung phones on T-Mobile (UK ones anyway) and the solution is to turn to 2g networks only.

I tried using Front Camera for Google+ Hangout, Yahoo Messanger Video Chat, Skype, Tango but my phone crashes instantaneously.
though I can make video calls
Currently I am running non rooted Galaxy i9003.
Anyone noticed same. I tried searching everywhere but seems that there is no fix for this problem.

Yes, I am facing the same Problem and I can not find a fix as well. Try using a custom ROM, it should work. So far I have faced this problem only with G+. Skype works fine!
Dude since most of the apps aren't made specifically for our device it seems to b a problem...to solve this switch on the horizontal mode or landscape mode and use the camera hopefully it will work cause when I was using a stick rom it used to work...

Nope still crashing. Does this problem exist only in stock rom or I will never be able to do video chat using this phone.

I don't know mate...but when I used to use stock roms it used yo work when: used my phone in landscape mode....I think why don't u upgrade to a more stable firmware like ddkp3 cause I think it may be a fault in the firmware

I am on ddkp3 and I have noticed that it never worked for any GB update.
I have i9003 with stock rom 2.3.6 official. When I try a skype videocall the phone reboot or swich-off.
Any solution or workaround ?
I think It don't even work for any App on Play Store. Just flashed MIUI still no luck it reboots everytime I try to use Front Cam for video chatting.
If you want stock, try JPKPH, it's the latest "Arab region" firmware (the one with the new lock screen).
It's stable and has camera improvements, so maybe they fixed that.
Hey guys, I have looked all over to find a solution but unless I am looking in the wrong place I am stuck. YouTube just will not play ony roms at all, I always have connection problems then the screen says retry. I used the official ics update and that worked fine, however I prefer custom roms I am on sabsa prime v8 at the moment.. thank you for raking the time to look. Ps could it be something to do with the Rom blocking ads if so how can I disable this feature.
