[APP][2.1+][No-Root] ChargeBar - MIUI battery bar

ChargeBar is a free, fully-customizable, feature-packed MIUI battery bar for ANY Android device on ANY ROM, no root required! Hopefully everyone will give this a shot, we're sure you'll like it. Feature include:
The ability to start when the device has finished booting.
Automatic hiding in full screen applications.
Hiding in the lock screen.
Displaying a status bar notification/ reminder.
Configurable animation style (normal, right-to-left/ inverted, and centered)!
1% battery indicator for supported devices (and a hack for Motorola devices including the Defy).
Charging animations.
Changing the color (choose a static color or an interval based on the remaining charge).
1% interval options for color (unlike other apps there are no predefined ranged like 0-20%, you can select as many ranges as finely as you want. Even choose a color for every percent!)
Changing the height.
Configurable position (top, bottom, bottom of status bar).
If possible please consider donating, it supports development as well as removes the permanent graphical links at the bottom of the app (they are not "ads" per-say nor does this app require the INTERNET permission). Please refrain from re-posting the APK anywhere! We will take care of updating it on our website.
While ChargeBar is no longer in beta that does not mean that there will not be bugs. If you run into any issues please send us an email with your device, firmware, description of the problem, screenshot/ logcat, or any other relevant piece of information.

Thanks guys, I will certainly look into custom colors for specific levels and/ or times of the day but I don't want to look it into say 15%, 30%, etc. so I need to come up with a clever interface and ContentProvider to handle this.

On 4.0.3 under status bar goes about 1cm from top of screen not at the bottom.

Ah, yeah. I don't have a tablet to develop or test on so that makes sense. I've got an idea how to fix that but am not entirely sure.

The latest update available on the Android Market or our website now has this fixed. The position option "Bottom of Status Bar" is not "Top of System Bar" for Honeycomb+ tablet users.
Keep checking in for more updates, and when possible consider donating.

some1 reported that it almost messed his device by changing the Height to a very high amount, like 600-700-800 range
only way was to wait till battery dropped and could see his screen again
suggest to limit the amount

Looks nice but i can't seem to make it show above your super status bar+ app.
Best thing that I can do is to make it show at the bottom

Alright, I've set the height in the latest version (beta two) to 99px, just to be sure that it can't do "too" much damage. Of course this option should be used with caution even at 99px, but it should minimize the impact.

Fantastic app. Back in Windows Mobile times I used a similar one. One option I really liked was an ability to set the color to rainbow style (RGB spectrum). It made the bar really visible no matter what the background was. Could you think of implementing it in future versions?

I set everything and start the app but i don't see the bar in any location i tried. I tried bigger height but still nothing. Process is running. Any help?

Well just a suggestion if you provide downloadable apk file here it would be great, because there are places where play store doesn't work. well i am downloading it, i currently using another iphone type controller center will give you feedback aftr testing it :good:

1st of all Nice app bro :good: i really liked it. Nice feature rich and with lots of customization.
but well few thing which need to improve. The launch of control center is very choppy and not smooth even i have a Snapdragon 600 processor and secondly its taking around 70 MB of RAM. It take lot of effort to launch while on landscape mode well below 20-24 dp the refuses to show up ( i think the problem is some where in the dp calculator which is miscalculating while on lower dp) well around 30-35 dp its working on landscape mode. I think showing miss call and message is a feature of pro application if i am not wrong because it's not showing on the application which i have downloaded from the play store :good: :fingers-crossed:

Yes I gotta agree, the transition is laggy. And I'm using a snapdragon 615 device too. Great job nonetheless

No wallpaper shown, by a noob

Hello
Since I installed a custom ROM ( Zombie 4.4.4 ) , my TF700 can't display a wallpaper . It stay desperately dark. I can choose one, picture or origin's wallpaper, but it doesn't show after selection.
I thought about a power saving system , but I can not find anything that allows me to enable or disable the wallpapers in systems parameters.
If a good soul could help me, it would be nice.

It's a bug. Either go through Settings > Display > Wallpaper or use a different launcher

It's the same thing with other launchers, but you're right, it's probably a bug, because if I use gallery's pictures, I can change the background. But only the ones which are in gallery folder.

Xperia xz - Nougat update review

Here are my initial thoughts:
1) The update is very much smoother than the previous MM versions, very noticeable in the multitasking pane
2) The Nougat notifications looks bomb on the Xperia skin, they are much faster to interact with, quick reply works great & notification handling is quite improved.
3) The Quick settings pane are not exactly like the Pixel one, they take a little more space on the screen (just a little), the drop down arrow on the un-collapsed QS takes 1 QS Space on the right, would have preferred it to be a little small so that they could squeeze another QS Tile there.
4) The messaging app has some new neat features, nothing much drastic though (who uses normal messages these days anyways)
5) Split Screen works great & is a welcoming change
6) Battery life - Can't comment, needs a little more time to judge, but the track record for my XZ is already great, so not expecting big changes in battery life.
7) Now, the Camera, it's supposed to bring certain new Manual control options, but I didn't had a chance to dig into em. Will let you know when I start playing around the camera myself
Overall, the device runs faster, smoother & feels a little light, not too much of stuff going on, just exactly what you need & where you need em.
It is a great update & a very quick update too.
