All the flashing instructions and download can be found here
this zip has been tested on boot strap recovery and bmm(system 1 only)
you should be running a custom rom it does not work if you have a stock rom
here is a video showing what the boot animation will look like

i have tried this on pac running on system 1 worked perfectly but i don't multi-boot so can't say about system 3
Animation caused a bootloop on my system 3, not sure why the flashable zip flashed system framework, but it didn't help. I originally tried just pulling the bootanimation from the zip and pushing it to system/media which made it show fine on boot but resulted in a bootloop. Flashed the flashable zip to see if it would fix it, but the bootloop persisted. Ended up reflashing the rom to get booted again.

I am now running the Ivysaur sense 4.0 Rom which has been fantastic thus far and would like the use the Rezound Bios boot animation I have used previously, I was wondering what the process would be to use this or any other boot animation in lieu of the HTC One boot that is currently on it. If anyone could help me out on this that would be fantastic, I have done a few searches etc and can't seem to figure it out.
Thanks!
The Kernel you are running must support changing or flashing BootAnimation. Then get the zip files and flash the bootAnimation.
So, I have updated my TWRP to 2.2.1 and decided to update TrickDroid to the latest 6.2.0 version (T-Mobile). After doing a full wipe, I installed and I noticed that when booting up, my phone has a normal, generic android boot animation. I tried using the tweaks package to change it, but only the shutdown animation changed, and the boot animation is still the "android" logo animation. I tried ref lashing, reinstalling TWRP, flashing the kernel separately and still nothing. Any ideas/help?

It would be better to ask this in Trickdroid's support thread. You could always manually replace the .zip file.
I had very little luck using the Tweaks package. Very few of the changes I made stuck. I couldn't get *any* of the inverted apps to work. I just ended up using the ROM without any tweaks because it has such great battery life.
On only had this problem using twrp. No problems with latest cwm. Checked it 2 times!

Which version of TWRP were you using?
EDIT:
I tried with the latest cwm recovery, still the same. I find it really weird that when I tried flashing MIUI, the boot animation was there...It's only trickdroid :\
find the boot animation you want and move to \system\media and reboot and it will work
Using stock Gingerbread kernel (DDLF2 rooted with Clockwork Recovery Mod installed - Amit Bagaria's CF-ROOT).
I had changed the default boot animation to the green transparent droid using Pimp My ROM (version 3.4). After this, the phone went into a boot loop. My mistake - didn't take a backup using Nandroid before trying the tweaks. Tried the restore default boot animation from within Pimp My ROM itself. However it says no primary boot animation to restore!! Also tried to unpimp all changes from within the tweaker itself, still doesn't work and shows the boot animation that was set which made it go into the bootloop. One thing I do notice is that the reboot happens after all media scanning is over.
I still have CWM though.
I don't want to lose any data. Can anyone please help recover?
Thanks in advance. Any help would be much appreciated.

I used pimp my rom once and I almost bricked my phone... I assume you are on custom rom now... just reflash that custrom zip through CWM.. clear cache and dalvik and reboot in this you wont loose any data.... BUT BUT BUT just be sure you FLASH THAT PARTICULAR CUSTOM ROM ZIP FILE ONLY WHICH YOU CURRENTLY HAD ON YOUR DEVICE... FLASHING OTHER ROM WITHOUT WIPING THE DATA WILL CAUSE PERMANENT HARD BRICK AND YOU HAVE TO SAY R.I.P TO YOUR PHONE THEN SO BE CAREFULL
If u did a backup of build.prop u can replace with aroma file manager, or u can download one of the build.prop with tweaks by topdroid and replace with aroma fm

Flashed Dhiru's CM10 ROM
Thank you members for the replies.
I flashed a custom ROM (Dhiru's CM 10 (alpha 5) based off 4.1.2).
My installation of CWM saved my hind and made the transition not too difficult.
mustafahussain, bro, yes, many features in Pimp My ROM don't even work in the stock Gingerbread DDLF2 ROM. I guess that why's the developer still has it at alpha. I'm not going to risk using the damn thing again. I'll opt for a safer alternative.

ok i am not sure if the way i was transfering to the sd card was messing up the file or if the dl was bad because i used a diffrent mirror to dl the rom once dled i didnt just put on sd from pc like last time this time i put it on the sd card via file transfer with charging cable this time it may have worked i managed to get the boot animation to come up instead of the cwm so far so good here is hoping it works thank you for your time and attempt to help
Hi there,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket SGH-I727R from Rogers that I have rooted and want to install a custom bootanimation.zip I found that I want to use but when I tried to install with twrp (that's what it said to do) it said it was successful so I rebooted, but it showed the regular boot screen animation. Does it not work on stock roms or am I doing it wrong???
