Screen shots - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

Does anyone know if there is an app that can take screen shots BUT puts your screen shot on a profile of a phone ie... So tour screen shot when saved would end up in the screen of Samsung S4 so u can post as a picture on forums or google+?

After taking a screenshot it saves in the gallery. Just go to upload image and search the gallery for it. It's usually in the folder titled "Screenshots"

Dang Ok I haven't posted enough links to paste a link.
If someone could google Preview Maker for Cydia..... Yes it's an iOS tweak but that is what I mean.
U take screen shots of ur home screen and In this app u have pictures of highly detailed iPhones and u can add ur just taken screen shot and paste it inside the screen of the iPhone and save it as an image so u can now post on the likes of Google+ ur screen shot and it shows inside the phone.
This is what I'm asking of there is an app that can do this for android?
As of the moment I am having to upload to Dropbox and paste I to photoshop where I have an S4 psd where I add the screen shot then resave and re upload just to post to a forum.
As u can see an app would be WAY easier

custom wallpaper problem

I am making some custom wallpapers for my Incredible, and am running into a few problems.
I am using photoshop and saving my pictures as JPEGs. They are 960x800 px.
They pretty big files, usually 1.5meg.
When I put the pictures on my sdcard, and I go to change the wallpaper, I go to gallery, then find the picture I have put on, and when I select the picture, it acts like it goes to the resize portion of the process, but then it just goes back to the gallery.
I have also tried loading the wallpaper straight through ASTRO file manager, with no luck either.
I'm sure I am missing something terribly simple, but I can't find it online.
Any help would be great. Thanks
There is an attachment of one of the images.
The problem is that we are 480x800

i dont think thats the problem. i cant even view the photo in gallery right. is there a limit to the size of the jpg?
The image that uploaded to the website is only 92.3kb. Just downloaded it and set it as a wallpaper no problem
1.5mb for a 960x800 image is HUGE.
I just played around with it for a bit and I think I figured out what your doing. Is your image properties set to cmyk (32bit)? That would explain why your file size is so big. Change it to rgb (24 bit). I'm thinking the android platform doesn't play to nicely with cmyk files.
I'm going to upload my cmyk file and see if this website automatically converted it to rgb on upload, which is what im thinking happened to your upload here.
Edit: yep that's exactly it. The website converted it, the attachment that was uploaded was 1.2mb and I just downloaded it; 94.3kb.
Awesome thanks for your help. I will switch it to rgb when I get home and try it out and report back

In the MMS app.
Tap & hold the picture in your message stream. There should be a pop-up menu of options. The second option is to save the attachment.
Long press the picture. It will bring up options. I hear ya on the saving naked pics. Lol. Saved quite a few myself.
installing Astro is also very helpful for saving stuff.
and you have to say nekkid, butt nekkid!
I gather the fabulous XDA forum supports posting pictures ;-)

[Q] Print screen !!

How ppl here printscreen thier android devices and upload it on fourm plz?
i use LG Optimus One p500 with CM7 rom
Search Android market for "screenshot" and you'll get a few different options
Go to Market and type screenshot it will come out a few apps for u to make screen shots of your phone... I also believe that you can do that with adb ? I'm not sure... Hope someone with more experience here can help!
Thanks @the_scotsman @nodeffect
But what is the best app to print screen and share in android ?
Drocap2 or shootme seem to be the most popular. Think you have to be rooted also by the way.

Nice! Some phones have this built in also..

There's a nice app called ShootMe, you can look for that on the Android Market. Another method would be to get the Android SDK and go to AndroidSDK/tools/ddms.bat and grab the device's screen (via usb) from there.
i use app called Screenshot It. it even works on my unrooted p500
Thx i downloded shootme from market, its nice
so how can i upload a photo that i printed via shootme ?

The best way would to be upload your image somewhere (i.e. photobucket, twitpic, flickr, etc.) and then get the URL to your image and you can reference that URL in your post.
Thanks

On my LQ2 ICS UK Carphonewarehouse O2 Note there is a preinstalled photo slide show widget called "Photo frame". Just select more than 1 pic to be displayed and it transitions between them at good res etc.

Yeah it comes with the note gallery app. It's good but it's only limited to 100 photos.
Various Photo widget is good too. Nice resolution and I think unlimited photos (I have 400+ in a folder) but it gets stuck a lot of times and u have to re- set it.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks.

[Q] Custome homescreen for touch wiz ?

Ok so i did a little research and nothing so far. I have a picture that i want to make my homescreen. I want to make it not have scroll but every app i found just blows it up and just centers the picture. i saw something about modded touch wiz but im hoping to find a easier way because honestly im on the run. I just want the image to be cropped to fit with no scroll.
Any help?
Try this app. It caused no excessive battery drain and it made it easy to set walls the way I wanted to. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cellophanesoftware.superwalllite
Also, you could download picspeed wallpaper app. It offers the ability to set a wall through the gallery using it and you can choose portrait mode. See screenshots. In the first pic, you'll select the 2nd option from the bottom. In the 2nd pic, you'll select the highlighted box on the left under the pic for portrait mode.
Good luck, let me know of any questions.

Picspeed is this app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.srsdev.wallpapers
The first one is a live wallpaper app, it will only show up if you select live wallpaper option. This is the reason I mentioned the piece about the minimal battery drain when using it. Go with Picspeed and see if it works for you first though. You may also have to use a 3rd party gallery to select the photo before setting it as your wall. I use quickpic cause it's fast. I just open quickpic, navigate to the photo I want, press menu soft key, select set as, select the option shown above in the pic, and boom! Works every time.
