Miracast HDCP error - Shield Q&A

Hello.
I have a Samsung TV with the Screen Mirroring.
But when I connect the shield pairing works but then I have a HDCP error.
Do you know or just the problem and how to settle it.
Waiting for your reply.
Cordially.

person?

All I can say on this is that HDCP means High Definition Content Protection.

[Q] Allshare cast conundrum

Long time viewer, first time posting.
I'm a science teacher and I use a galaxy note 10.1 (original) to do my lectures and I project the image on the screen with allshare cast. The problem is, our school has old projectors with no HDMI and only XGA resolution. Up until now, I have been using an HDMI --> DVI cable which displays the image clearly. The problem of course is that there is no sound. I don't need sound most of the time, so I've been getting by without it.
However, after reading a few threads on here I found that people had success using allshare with the Cable Matters active HDMI --> VGA with audio cable on amazon. So I picked up one of those. I connected the cable and sound, made sure to power it with the usb cable, and it shows up with just a black screen. No matter what configuration it is in, it just shows a black screen. When I pull the HDMI cable out of allshare and put it into a laptop (acer chromebook), the image displays on the screen fine. So the VGA cable and adapter both work.
Allshare works on the projector with DVI, but not VGA, whereas a laptop works with both on the same projector. Any help?
Does that HDMI-VGA adapter support HDCP? I'm pretty sure there's been a change to the ASCD to require HDCP support on the "display" end.

I did see that, though I'm still on the old LJ02 firmware and furthermore the others I've heard with hdcp issues received a message saying that the device was not hdcp compatible. In my case I cant even see the allshare cast instruction screen (it's black) but I CAN see the dongle on my device and connect.

Miracast screen mirroring cast does not work

New and need help please. I have not been able to get the screen casting o mirroring to work with my NVIDEA Shield Tablet WI-FI. I had Android 5.1.1. and now have 6.0 and no change. I am able to pair the two Android devices and both say connected but when I press Cast it has never indicated any available devices. Is it not able to Cast to another Android device? I am trying to screen cast to the Epson Movario BT-200 glasses which has Android 4.0.1 but also Miracast. My Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.4 inch is able to screen mirror to the Epson glasses but it gets a bit laggy. So I thought the NVIDEA Shield tablet would have more power but I am not able to get the Tablet to recognize the glasses in Screen Cast even though it does recognize and even connect to the glasses over WIFI. Have tried 2.4 GHz, 5GHz, and Auto band modes. Unfortunatly there is no Android update for Epson BT-200 glasses and likely never will be. I have rooted all devices and have tried about 7 different screen mirroring apps. (Epson Glasses do not allow Google Play store without rooting and some apps won't load).
Any advice welcome. I don't mind spending the time trying. I am not really smart but I was able to get my Shield tablet out of a boot loop by flashing new .img over USB from my PC through DOS command prompts, so I can usually figure it out with time.
Miracast hasn't worked on my original shield tablet since 5.0 update. I had used a Belkin to miracast, it's firmware is current and works with W8 and W10, and several older Android devices...I think it really only casts to Google cast devices now!

[NEED HELP] HDCP problem with Xperia XZ F8331 Oreo .24 [Existenz v1.3.0 Oreo]

Hello everyone,
Recently I bought an Yehua G5, something like a Chromecast, this product id toi cast the screen with miracast, AirPlay, dlna etc. it's a good product, works good with AirPlay on iPhone, but it doesn't work with my Xperia XZ [F8331, 41.3.A.2.24, Existenz v1.3.0 Oreo] , because of the hdcp protection, everytime I tried to connect it, it was disconnecting automatically, so I searched on the internet, and I found an XDA thread.
[FIX] No HDCP error Miracast (Ezcast) while screen mirroring all apps fix by themightydeity.
I did all the steps described, I got this message :
"The output device does not support HDCP. You can only mirror unprotected content of the following applications:
Xperia Home, Video, Music or Walkman, Settings"
And when I return to the menu, the second message appear : "Your output device does not support HDCP. Cannot mirror. You still can mirror some apps and unprotected content to the device."
I also tried to add another line in /system/build.prop :
plan.wfd.hdcp=disable
Nothing works at all, can you help me ? Do you know some mods or roms to desactivate hdcp protection ?
Can anyone help me ?

Sorry for returning to you so late, I tried it, it's the same protocol that I described, it works only on nougat, it doesn't works on Oreo, here is the problem, the only way for me was to downgrade to Nougat and do this, and it works. Thank you for your help.
So, I bought a Chromecast, and reupdated my phone to 41.3.A.2.58, I did this :
Go to system/etc and find file wfdconfig.xml
Then find this line and change
- enable HDCP by default -->
<ContentProtection>
<Valid>1</Valid>
To
- enable HDCP by default -->
<ContentProtection>
<Valid>0</Valid>
Then save
And Miracast worked between my Xperia and my Chromecast, so, what I think is : the only way to cast Oreo Xperia on TV is to get a Chromecast (because you can't connect your phone with HDMI, it's also blocked)

Windows 11 - "Can't view protected content on this device." Error given when casting Tab S7 to Windows 11 computer

So, trying to show art to some others over the internet (Discord), I've noticed that Windows 10 and 11 on the AX200 WiFi6 chipset no longer allow protected content, causing only my Tab S7 background to show in the Connect app. Does anyone have an idea? Drivers are up-to-date and the RX570 has the Latest Recommended installed (was Optional until this morning). Firewall matches exactly as what the Microsoft Answers site answers had mentioned, though no avail. Is it that the AX200 line, albeit still new, already discontinued it's HDCP support, or does it need to be set to WiFi 1 (.11b) for this to work correctly?
My Samsung Note 20U and later my S22U wont allow content to be captured by capture cards over HDMI, seems all is locked under HDCP encryption by Samsung. Also now you can only cast with Google Home.
Samsung Smart View seems to work, though i don't have a capture card to see what is going on. one thing is, is the capture card HDCP 1.4 certified? That seemed to be my problem but over WiFi Direct before i found out that Windows didn't support receiving HDCP 1.4 content over WiFi Direct until February.
