I have a Sidekick 4G with the Glorious Overdose v5 ROM. Yesterday night, I found that everytime I restarted the phone, all of the phone's processes would crash and I would never get past the Setup Wizard after I rebooted. Before it started to crash, I had just put some new music on it and after I disconnected it from my computer, my phone crashed and nothing would work after. Is there a solution to this? Or is it just the update with the ROM? I would love to get my phone back to working again because I love Glorious Overdose.

This is a pretty general issue so I've plonked it here.
Since the new version of Microsoft MyPhone was released my phone continues to crash regardless of what ROM I'm using. Has anyone else had this?
There are about 800 text messages to deal with and it will bomb out and crash the handset at random, there is no pattern to it. Sometimes it crashes at about 100, sometimes it crashes at about 300. The most annoying thing is that it synchonises in the middle of the night, crashing the phone and then my damn alarms don't go off!
I've had the same ROM for a few weeks now (Duttys Leo R5) since before the new MyPhone tool came out and didn't have any issues until after this point. I've tried flashing the custom ROM again, flashing different custom ROMs, hard resets etc and they all crash when updating the text messages in MyPhone, I'm now on Duttys Leo R6 and that crashes too.
Any ideas guys?
No one else has had this issue I guess
Mine doesn't even work lol.
Keeps saying My Phone is not responding and must be shut down because of an unexpected error.
I just think it's a junk program.
I started getting this error when I flashed CM7. It would happen every now and then but not too much. I decided to wait until CM7 was working perfectly on the Inspire so I reflashed Android Revolution. Everything went fine at first and I put all my data back on. Now I'm getting the error nonstop. I can't use the phone at all because when I force close to get rid of the error another one pops up and its an endless cycle. Does anyone know what causes this and what I can do to get rid of it?
So ive been modding phones since the seem editing days of the motorola razr. Ive been working with android phones since release and ive never seen an issue like this one...
I put Glor Overdose 2 on my sidekick 4g taking care to follow every instruction to the letter. everything went off without a hitch! or so i thought.
A day later, i rebooted the phone and all of my downloaded apps were gone, i just had "problem loading widget" and broken shortcuts everywhere. a few random Google apps were missing too.
I assumed i screwed the pooch somewhere on the install, so i redownloaded the rom, odin'd back and tried again. Everything went fine until about an hour after i finished setting everything up i took a deep breath and rebooted the phone. Same problem, random google apps gone and all my downloaded apps gone.
Ive since gone back to KJ2 stock and its running smooth(as smooth as stock can run) and its been problem free.
Any ideas?
It happened to me every once in a while, usually I just wait it out and it finds everything again.
I have an Infuse (i997) and am running Beanstalk 4.4.205 dated 12/31/13. The build has worked GREAT for me. About a week ago I received a couple pop-ups telling me that a service had stopped but when I chose "OK" it worked fine.
Yesterday (2/16/14) my phone must have auto-updated something and now it's not working. I can power it off, boot into recovery, and boot normally. When I go to swipe the home screen I get three messages in this sequence:
Unfortunately, Exchange Services have stopped.
Unfortunately, Email has stopped.
Unfortunately, Google Partner Setup has stopped.
Unfortunately, Launcher3 has stopped.
After clicking OK on these all I get is the last one repeating against my lock screen background. I click OK and get it again...and it never stops.
I can access settings and turn on WiFi or the data network, and I can receive calls. I cannot access any applications at all.
I had NovaLauncer on the phone and it worked great. When I go into settings I can only see Launcher3 listed in the Home menu. I tried going to Play Store and selecting another launcher but it seems that my phone does not get notified that there is an update waiting.
Please Help!
Resolved
I downloaded the 1231 ROM (same as what was on the phone) and the latest gaaps file to my pc and then USB connected to the phone and copied to the download directory on SD card 0. I followed the instructions for the ROM to clear cache, flash rom, flash gaaps and clear dlavic and now it's working great.

it's not the launcher problem, it's ROM problem, a few of us have been experiencing the same thing with the last 3 builds.
to my phone the dec.31 ROM was the most stable, that I am using right now.
Let us know if your phone is still running fine after 5 days
1231 is working well

I went through the install procedure for the 1231 release and it worked so well that I went for the 0214 release. Not so good. I had 3 processes die when I opened the lock screen. I punted back to the 1231 and it's working really well. I did put in the newest Gaaps which probably solved the original problem I was having with the 1231 release when I had the Launcher3 problem.
I love the Beanstalk on my Infuse - awesome!
Hi, I've had my 1+ for about a month now running on stock (but rooted). Today my phone has been showing the "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped" dialog. I click ok and the signal is lost. Few seconds later signal reappears but then dialog pops up again. It only started this morning. I haven't changed anything or flashed any fw or basebands.
It's a bit of concern. I've got a phone interview this afternoon and I really don't want the phone to cut out during it!!!
Does anyone know of how this happens and what mighht be done to resolve the problem. I'd rather not have to do a reset.
Many thanks.
Update: I seem to have resolved the issue by flushing the cache and data + force closing all phone/txt/contact apps. I also flashed a different modem for good measure. So far (over an hour now) I've not had the message come back. I suspect there was some conflict somewhere with the afore mentioned apps.
I have this issue after 1 week with the phone.
Same problem as yours, I only rooted the phone still running Stock 11S.
This problem happens this morning out of no where.
Been foreclosing all these apps and clear cache/data and hopefully it'll fix it...
