hey there, im new here and i would like to know if there's any suitable kernel to improve the performance (reduce lag, not for gaming) of my tab 2 running on 4.1.1? or should i flash with custom rom?

if I know the first kernel is only for cm10 the second is not for overclocking.
There is a third kernel, MetalliKernel 10.1 cm9. But its only for cm9.

No. Sadly this tablet does not have the best developer support.

you can overclock the stock kernel,
just root it, and modify the (cpu frequency scaling) script using text editor with root access

for example:
which text editor?
and more...
Maybe use setcpu?
I'm going to give it a try and report back, but probably need OC kernel

NO, and i really don;t see a reason. Adding 10% to the CPU will have little or no effect.

Guys i'm using serduPetru stock .13 JB rom with serdu OC kernel
Is there anything i can do to make my tab smoother, a tweak or another kernel, (something compatible with my rom ofcourse)
I realise that i have quite the number of widgets on , but for a quadcore tablet running JB , i expected things to be a lil' bit smoother ,
I dont care about benchmark stats, i just wanna something that's buttery smooth with decent multitasking

try cleanRom 3 and flash clemsyns kernel after and you will see real smoothness

hello guys, I read this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1884405 but is very old. so I would flash any tf300t rom with JB on tf300tg... is possible ???, I read in the link above that is possible only if I flash the TWP recovery end not CWM... is correct ??? thanks for your attention !!!

CleanROM Inheritance supports the TF300TG
Just install the kernel installer directly after the ROM and choose the tg series kernels. Both are in my original thread.:good:

If they are stock based and on the same jb level yes.
Hi I'm mounting a optimized stock rom with android 5.1.. Can you suggest me some kernel for Android 5.1 stock? I've tried the moggy kernel and the kaminari. The second one was good but it seems that after some weeks the phone become unstable..
