[ROM][CM9] FreshAir Vol.1 [26/11/2012]

Hello everybody! I introduce you my first custom rom: FreshAir Vol.1 . This rom is a "tasty" coctail from several tweeks, including a few new things. I hope you all enjoy it and I promise to "cook" better and better custom roms in the future. :laugh:
What's inside?
- base rom: CyanogenMod 9 BETA (Build 4) credits to arco68
- kernel: CastagnaIT Kernel v7.3 credits to CastagnaIT
- gpu drivers: AOSP's 4.0.4 Stock Alpha (Build 2) gpu drivers credits to broodplank1337
- sms tweek: Stock MMS APK with 160 characters sms capacity credits to theos0o
- music player addition: WALKMAN For Base CM9/CM10 credits to ibanez7
- launcher used: TouchWiz 4.0 (TW4) credits to PaWill
- Added:

many system apk's icons changed
wallpapers
many ringtones
many notifications

I think it's a good compilation. Especially GPU drivers from AOSP, when I tested it games seemed much smoother than on ivendor ICS with CastagnaIT. Unfortunately I'm addicted to some tweaks from CM (notification toggles for example), so I couldn't use it on daily basis . Gonna try it, thanks for your work.

Good work!

Almost all works perfectly! Beautiful rom, smooth, fast, stable, without bugs! Only the temple run is laggy. Maybe with arco's or broodblank's kernel the games will be better. Thanks geo xar!

... just the new Antutu version, they had increase results in 1000-1500 points (don't ask me why...)

The new antutu gives higher scores, but anyway this is very high!

Some times Launcher dissappears and only with restart comes back. It is only me ?????
For the rest all is ok.

For me too. I have changed the launcher with apex (is my favourite) and no problems anymore.

Temple run has some lags, but it is very strange because I had tested especially this game in the past and had no problem!
I'll check it out and if the problem still exists I'll try to improve gpu drivers.

It happened for me too the first time after flashing. I rebooted and then this problem disappeared. I am gonna ask the dev who ported the launcher if he could fix it. Thank you all of you for testing!:laugh:

It is true that after some time launcher stabilize and it is not hapening any more so many times, the strange is that even when you do not see the launcher icons and the rest of the desktop the icons are there and if you touch them blindly they work.
For one more time I have to say that the only bug for me is the launcher and the rest works perfect and stable.

The ROM is beautiful, but games lag... I tested Dungeon Hunter 3 and Zombie Killer and they lag less in Shadow0ICS...

In my opinion one of the causes for poor performance in games, is the Castagna kernel. I flashed it with a lot of roms and I always lags in games. I think the Castagna kernel is overestimated. For me, the stock kernels of roms (arco's ivendor's crybert's broodplank's) are better for each of these roms. Shadow0 ICS has arco's kernel.

You have to flash any CM based kernel.
Eg. Black Reactor, Percy's CM#2 OR Jarvis-CM 1.2 #2

Try black reactor cm version. It's stable, has more governors and also boot animation works. .. In percy i have never seen boot animation working... I may be wrong though

In cyanogenmod u can add all toggles like data hotspot, play music etc. It's there in settings. Download and experience the cm features.

please explore all features before ask..
go to Settings and search Clocker feature.. disable and re-enable this feature.. and change the clock color..

Hey bro nice build . fully stable fast and smooth , successfully flashed via CRT recovery . but it doesn't have play store and keyboard, please suggest gapps to flash. :thumbup:

Made a new copy from scratch and it worked fine.
