Now a days My Phone takes 5-6 hrs to charge from 4% to 100%, Is it the Normal case ??? Or Am I done something wrong ?
I don't know but I think it should take less time. Looking for the solutions from you all guys.

Guys, I need some help. My four days old sensation is acting crazy. After every charge, the battery level does not change for some time. Like, today, took phone of the charger at 8 am and I used it for browsing the net for like 2 hours. The first time it moved was at like 1pm to 97%. After this, the battery started to go down somewhat . When I got home at 6pm, it was at 65%.
As I'm typing this right now, I took the phone off the charger at 79% , been using it for an hour straight , yet still shows 79%. Is this normal behavior for this phone? Anyone else have the same issue? Should I exchange this phone with another new one at walmart?

Lol, I get your point, but my main concern is that is this normal? Shouldn't it go down gradually from the beginning? Like just right now, its been off the charger for an hour and half, and just now it has moved for the first time from 79 to 77. And I've been using it non-stop during that time.

I think it's a problem to do with the software and battery stats. Other people have reported this issue (there was a thread about it sometime ago, if I can I'll find it). Maybe when we get root and clear the battery stats through Recovery we'll see it go back to normal. Or maybe a ROM such as CM7 will solve it.
Or maybe you do just have an amazing battery
It seems i'm having the same issue. Battery is stuck at 100 and battery voltage shown is actually rising.
When i charged my Sensation for the first time, it ended with completely discharged and overheated battery. Phone told me that i should have used only original charger and then restarted. The charger included looked original to me
I charged my phone from PC USB port and it worked until now. I just charged again with the included charger and now it's stuck at 100.
I don't know what to do now, my Sensation doesn't have any of the many other problems reported here, so i'm not sure i really want to get a replacement. Can this be a problem with the battery or is it phone hardware? I can't believe it's software...
Hi
From time to time I've had a weird battery drain issue. I usually charge the phone during the night so it's guaranteed to be at 100% in the morning. Some times tho the phone drains the battery in like 2-4 hours while it should be completely idle. Normally the battery can last up to two days without charging.
Today I managed to check the proccess list when this happened and from what I could see I had like 30 something logcat running. After killing those the battery lost like 1% in 1-2 hours so it seems like the logcats where the power thief's.
Any one else seen something like that?
I'm on stock rom but rooted.

Ok guys,
I bought my Sensation (Normal) 3 months ago. After 5 days I started using an1730mAh battery (Evo3D/Sensation XE, original from HTC).
Since that date my Sensation is getting extremely hot. After 10 minutes web-browsing, or 20 minutes playing any (!) game, you can't touch the phone at the screen. I would say it's about 60°C hot, different battery widgets show constantly 11,5°C.
The last days, I noticed something weird:
After closing a game (15 minutes playing), the temperature won't settle down, and... my battery drains from 85% to 34%. This happens in maybe in 2 minutes. After that, the battery drains to 4% in 10 minutes, then the phone shuts down.
I noticed this problem with any Sense 4.0 Rom, doesn't matter which Kernel or frequency.
With ARHD, I have only the insanely overheat problem.
With the normal battery, the same thing happens.
I calibrated the battery, full charging cycles, nothing helped.
I don't know what to do, would be great if someone could help me. Please ask me if I forgot some details.
(And sorry for my bad English )

From my previous experience, I will advice you to stay away from arhd rom cos it caused my phone to heat up too. Try any other Rom with Sebastian' s kernel. Should fix your heating issue.

Well, I can think of 2 options
1. Switch to another Sense 3.6/AOSP/etc ROM - InsertCoin is stable and in 3 months of using I havent had any issues with overheating, Virtuous Inquisition is not bad at all and the list goes on, I just wrote my personal favorites
2. Warranty - bring it to your seller and complain
Im not an expert, but hope it helped

Have you tried to get Gingerbread? Cause thats overall the best version for battery life and if not.. Then i guess you have to get a new phone
I didn't know that there were any NEW Infuses around.

So let me get this straight. New infuse just purchased, tried ROMs from 2.2-4.2, and it is bad already...you're good. Took me at least as week to screw mine up.
Try one ROM and let it settle for a few days.

2-3 hours of real usage?
If so, that seems like right. With my fairly new infuse, I can surf web about the hours and half.

Hello there!
I know that is existing more topics about the battery, but I can`t find something to solve my problem.
I installed Vipers rom. I used before Cyanogen 10. Now,on Vipers,my battery lasts 2-3 hours. I`m using the phone only for calls, check mail and messages, total use 30 mins.
What I have to change ? I think its about settings...maybe I installed something wrong. On Cyanogen battery keeps me 8-9 hours.
Another thing is that charging time takes too long (10-12 hours) on power socket.
Can someone to help me please?

If the battery life is THAT bad it's probably not a settings issue. Your battery may just be old and worn out. Try replacing the battery itself. New ones only cost a few bucks. New better ones only a few bucks more than that.
The fact that it takes 12 hours to charge is another indicator that the battery itself has just gone bad. Your best bet is replacement.
AW: Battery about to die.
What recovery have you installed i had problems on cwm-Touch , now i am on TWRP and my batt problems with ViperS are gone.
