Yes. And I can not charge it, connect the charger but no charging LED
May be hardware failure
is phone rooted/rom'd?
could try flashing sbf, but need a charged battery (spare battery charger )or a TBH programming adapter

My Infuse not going into download mode and not charging also. I tried to shut down the completely and plugged in the charger then the phone would Power ON. If i try to plug in my data cable to the computer its not recognized by the computer. I have Kies installed and my comp recognizes my captivate and Galaxy s II. I am sure its some software problem. Unfortunately i can't connect to odin now to reinstall new software. Help me with some suggestions guys. Thanks.
power off phone
pull battery
wait 1-5 minutes
put battery back in phone
plug usb cable into phone and computer
press volume up and down and hold
press power button, hold for a few seconds
that always seems to work for me.

i have same problem
get the jig from ebay and jig will get you to download mode
I had a similar problem with my wife's and my Infuse not charging. After doing some Googling, I found that some Infuses have had a problem with either the charger, cable,or charging port going bad. I plugged my wife's phone in all night, next morning it had not charged, but mine charged just fine. The following night, switched chargers and got the same results but in reverse obviously. Our problem seems to be the charger or cable. I have to play with them a bit and figure out which one it is. And yes, its the original charger that came with the phone. It seems to make an intermittent connection but not enough to charge consistently. Just trying to give my experience with this issue also. Hope it helped...
In order to get into download mode, I have to simultaneously plug the cord in to the phone and hold the up volume key while it is plugged in to the computer. Hopefully then the drivers can install and you can get back to stock using odin
What he said ^
Sent from my SGH-I997 using XDA App
this method is not a cure all, not all can get into DL mode like this.
Why does my Sensation like this?
When unplugged in the charger, the orange led still lights up and the battery remains charging even if the charger is unplugged. Also when connecting to pc, in usb mode, after connection, i'll remove the usb cable, then the usb still in the notification.
I know this is hardware faults. Because i flashed so many different roms already. But this orange led keeps on lighting up. It doesnt have the chance to light off.
Help me guys!
How can we help? You already said yourself it is hardware fault. Get a replacement.
Hi all -
I have a XOOM 2 I got as a freebie from a buddy who said it was "stuck at the motorola logo". I verified this, and downloaded all the fastboot stuff. Attempted to get into fastboot mode and fastboot indicated it would not allow flashing because the battery is low.
I plugged it into my mac, the white light next to the USB plug comes on, and after a few hours it will go out again. However when I go to start it, I get a blinking red light next to the camera.
Is there something goofy I have to do so it'll charge when the OS is wiped?
The blinking red light next to the camera is telling you it is not charged enough. Don't plug it into your pc but use a usb wall plug to charge it until the white light turns green.
I suspect I have the wrong sort of wall charger? I can't seem to ever get it to turn green.

Alright after much gizoogling, turns out Motorola flips pin 1 and pin 4 on the USB so that pin 4 is +5V. Writeup is here: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-labs/146492-how-why-make-your-own-motorola-factory-cable.html
The tablet will run and charge (although slowly) from a wall charger, but you can't actually charge it if it doesn't have an OS, and it doesn't have an OS if I'm stuck at fastboot, and if it has no battery, it won't let me fastboot...
That stupid cable lets you flash a motorola whilst charging it too. I officially hate motorola for these hoops, but it's problem solved for me. $7 on ebay.
Hi all,
I have an Atrix 2, where the phone wont boot up without a charger. And even if its connected with charger, it only boot to motorola logo, and shows battery level before goes completely blank.
I heard flashing the firware again using RSD lite, with phone connected to PC with fast boot mode will fix this, but I can't disconnect the charger from the phone, and booting the phone while its connected to USB wont work.
I can boot into the OS when going to bptools in recovery mode tho. Can any one help?
Thanks in advance.

Hi there, thanks for replying. As I mentioned in my first post, my phone wont boot up when connected to the PC. It can only boot when connected to the wall charger. So I cant really flash it using RSD Lite. Is there anyway to work around this problem? When in fast boot mode (and connected with wall charger), it says battery low cannot program. Does this means something?

in the youtube video..it's mention that you must have about 60% battery or above so fast_boot will tell you "battery OK" but in your case you've a low battery that's why fast_boot tells you "battery low".
The only solution to recharge it is to take battery off from phone and charge it using another atrix or a generic battery wall socket or any other method as phone itself will never charge the battery in Soft Brick...
.
Don't worry I had the same issue before but I used a small trick to charge my battery..I've an Arduino board "small development board" came with an adapter 7V 1amp so I take 2 wires from the arduino and connect that adapter "inner is + and outer is -" to the battery "look at the battery back it's mention where is + and where is -" and waited for an hour then put battery back in phone and enter fast_boot mode then voila! it said battery OK which means it has been charged successfully then FXZ normally.
Note: be sure to connect positive+ at adapter to positive+ at battery and same connect negative- to negative- DON'T reverse the signs.

As he says you are going no where if you dont have at least 60% battery charge, to make sure better be fully charge. Or your risk to hard-brick your phone.
The phone one day stopped charging, when i plug the charger it doesn't seem to recognize it, but when it is turned off and i plug it it starts charging but really slow (3 hours= 10%) and if i unplug it afterwards the screen still shows as if it is charging, if i turn the phone on while plugged in the phone says it is charging but again, really slow, if i use the phone while it is "charging" it discharges and when i unplug it, it still shows as if it is charging, NOW if i turn the phone on while unplugged it doesn't recognize the charger, also, i have tried to plug it to the PC but the PC doesn't recognize it either, the PC did play the sound of something being plugged when i entered in boot mode in the phone, i have already flashed another ROM and installed a different kernel, it doesn't seem to work, i have also disassembled the USB port (which is very easy on this phone) and nothing... Do you think it is a hardware problem? or more like a software bug/problem?
Please help, Im kinda new to XDA so sorry if i have problems with the redaction of the problem im having.
I'm also having issues with the port, but it does seem different than yours. For me the connector is just broken. Some cables still work (barely), other don't work anymore at all. Did you try with different cables?

i did! even tho, the problem is still bothering...
solution to usb port
steps:-
1. switch off the device
2. charge it with a fast charges or the power charger then
3. unplug that cahrger and use your moto charger and left it untill it become 100% charge
it might take alonger time about 8-9 hrs
4. then switch on your phone
note: after it work properly dont use any other cable other then which comes with the phone
