[Q] Sim Unlock wont work?

I have a Bell Mobility HTC One S (S4 version) with bootloader unlock:
Rom: Leedroid
HBoot: 1.08.0000
Radio: 0.16.31501S.06_3
I have tried the sim unlock tried thread and also ordered unlock online and gotten the same code... Everytime I enter the code i get "incorrect password" ...
I am going spare because this is a gift and I cannot seem to unlock at all... any way to unlock this phone? whats causing this to happen
I read that others have this problem too...

Need to be on stock Rom I think

i unlocked mine when i was on the 3uk rom but r u putting in another sim card first so then it asks you to input the unlock code?

well i found the code when i was on stock rom... so dont think that has anything to do with it... and yes I am putting in another network sim card, when i enter the code it says "incorrect password" ... and this is sim unlock for use of phone on another network...

Don't u have like 10 attempts before locking u out phone ?

I had this problem and solved it. I discovered that the only way you can unlock your phone is that you must be on stock rom, otherwise it will not work. Get the RUU for Bell Mobility, unlock your phone, then you can put back on LeeDroid. I made a thread about this a few months ago and it has helped other people.

so i finally put the phone ack to the bell stock ruu..... but as before no luck :S... the password just keeps saying incorrect

Can anyone help me.I have htc sensation locked on vodafone uk,i have now unlocked code but the phone doesn't ask for it when i put new sim card despite that still no network.I can access all the menu with the new simcard but can't make any phonecalls.Is any way that i can unlock the phone?

i am not sure but when you are putting a new sim card it comes with a different unlock code

No the phone is unrooted and running isc 4.0.3 but the question is how to enter the unlock code without the phone asking

How many different carrier sims have you tried? Some carriers use the same carrier code and as such there sim will not prompt you for the code. Like in the UK giffgaff and tesco mobile run on the o2 network. And as such do not require the sim unlock to run on an o2 locked phone. Try as many as you can find from different carriers. And if that fails, and it still doesn't give you the prompt, you can s-off the device, and then follow the sim unlock guide by viper (I believe) and do it for free

[Q] Unlocking HTC inspire from AT&T no unlock prompt?

Hi everyone. I received the unlock code from AT&T and after I insert my non AT&T sim card and boot the phone up, I don't get the network unlock prompt. I get "sim not provisioned mm #2" how do I get the unlock prompt to come back up? I was rooted and running CM 7, but flashed it back to a the non rooted HTC stock rom from HTC's website. Any help/ideas are appreciated!

Are you SIM unlocked or bootloader unlocked? How did you root?

I'm sorry, I don't understand the difference between SIM unlocked & bootloader unlocked, I just want it unlocked so it can be used on different carriers. AT&T has already given me the code to use.
When I rooted, I used aahk, but when I put the stock HTC rom back, I lost root access.

Are you still S-Off? Which carrier's SIM are you trying to use? Some carriers lock their SIM cards, so only SIM unlocking the phone doesn't work.

Yes, s-off and I tried a verizon and a tracphone SIM
also tried a red pocket SIM and t-mobile SIM. I get the "sim not provisioned MM #2" message. No prompt

Since you used the aahk and are still soff than you already have Sim unlock. Not all carriers and Sims play nice with unlocked phones. Sometimes a different Sim will do the trick.
Example when I had unlocked my iPhone way back in the day (original) it would not work using my sisters tmo Sim but it would on my brothers tmo sim

Sim not provisioned mm#2 usually means the Sim card hasn't been activated, if the phone was Sim locked you would be prompted for the unlock code. Sounds like you're ready to go

I have a HTC One X (evita) out of contract and want to sell it. Its rooted, bootloader unlocked, and RUU to factory with Android 4.1.1 Sense 4+and software 3.18.502.6 71ORD, I have the unlock code from AT&T but need a sim card from another carrier which I don't have and not sure how to get. I read on one of the posts that if its rooted and unlocked there is a way to sim unlock without a sim card but it didn't give the link and I can't find it searching or googling it. I did come up with a Youtube video of some software to download to use the code without a sim card but it was a bad download and some files missing. Is there a way to unlock the phone without another carrier sim and the code?

Not that I know of. All I did on mine was take a old junk SIM card and cut it to fit and popped it in and done.

Sim unlock doesn't work with unlock code

Hello all,
I just received my sim unlock code from my provider because my phone has a simlock.
They said in the email that I have to put in a foreign simcard, enter the code of that simcard and then I have to see a screen where I can type the simlock code.
Unfortunately that screen doesn't show up.
My HTC Sensation XE is rooted and I have Android 4.2.2 from Albinoman887.
Is there another way to enter the code to unlock my simlock?

I may be wrong but I think this is most likely operators fault..
You could always try another ROM and see where that gets you.
After that there is always the option to go back to stock ROM.

For HTC the only way to insert the unlock code is after the phone asks for it,with another sim inside.Is a common problem not to ask for code if you have another rom installed so restoring to the stock rom should allow you to insert the unlock code
