[Q] Urgent Help needed

Hi Experts,
I was successfully able to flash ICS on my LG O3D but only .bin file and after that i tried to root phone was not sucessfully all the time ,restarted later and now my phone is not switching on properly.It shows LG logo then goes blank. PLEASE HELP.

When connected its showing charging and in device manager-->other devices showing CDC Serial & LGE COSMO USB Device

Did you try reflash it again ???
Try flash it with "lg smartflash" it tooo easy (just select the .bin file and .fls) .

Thanks a lot for the reply.
I tried but nothing happening..its not detecting as usb to change port to 41.
Is there any other way?? Also for flashing when i insert battery and press volume up and then connect it starts and shows LG logo and goes blank.

It is not showing in PORT in device manager when connected pressing volume + button

Does the phone go to download mode ("S/W upgrade mode ) ?? By insert the battery while you hold vol+ ??
You will see two arrows like the sync symbol in your phone screen . And then the phone will still connected with the PC .
Your problem is easy to fix . Just try to enter download mode . And every thing will be fine .

Try hold power on and the vol+ together , then plug it with the PC . Then insert the battery .

You hardbricked your phone if it doesn't go into download mode.
But no panic there is always a solution;

Follow the guide above. (and I mean every step , however small they may seem)
ICS roms are now pre-rooted so you don't have to root.
Flash Xbsall's Ported custom ics (The one in the guide.)
Then install wkpark's recovery img. (Found here ; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1978543)
Boot into recovery.
Install Darkroom ICS Int. (It's the best in my opinion) or whatever rom you wish.
They are all pre-rooted.
If you can't i'll guide you through it.

Everything worked fine till step 9..But still not showing anything in Ports

Make sure the drivers are correctly installed. Especially omap4430...
Start the script that has been referred to in the guide.
Shut down the phone , remove the battery , plug usb cable and when you see "waiting for 5 seconds" plug in the battery. That should work.
Keep me posted.

Finally able to recover my phone and restored 3 month old backup.

That may mean you have a bad cable.
But if you restored it , it's probably sometimes bad or you changed it or you used the front panel which is a hub (divides bandwidth , slows flashing process) and it's bad for ya.

Are you into android development? Am a real noob in this and you helped me coming out of really difficult situation.
Now i want to root my phone and everytime its showing 'error no device find'

I'm not into android development... my skills lie in networking so there is not much i can do for android.
But those are common knowledge...
I bricked my phone several times to learn those.
You don't need to root. Follow wkpark's recovery installation and flash a custom rom (Darkroom int is great)

nexus bricked need help plz :(

hello..
so i bought a nexus s i9020t from a guy for cheap price...he told me he was updating to ics and someting went wrong and now his device wont boot up...
i can enter fastboot mode with vol+ and power button...but when i try to unlock bootloader it says failed(ive done this many times and with proper drivers and method)..and i cant flash any custom recovery or stock rom from fastboot(also im guessing usb debugging was off).. i also tried adamoutlers resurrection tool...
but it says
sbl injection failure
failed to find device
and that fails to put my fone into download mode..
im stuck and cant run my fone...any kind of help is appreciated..

unfortunatelly, i don't know how to fix it.
i am not familiar with adam outler's resurection tool, maybe a usb jig is working in another way, to bring you into dl mode

How about not unlocking it and just flashing stock Google ROM?

update: when i hold both volume buttons and insert the usb cable..odin recognises the device but the device does not show download mode...instead it shows unlock bootloader screen with no, yes or no options..and when when i flash a package with odin it also says failed...
and rebellos-- "how about not unlocking it and flashing stock google rom"......can u give me pointers how to do that..though i think i know..but nothing is leading me to anything fruitful

[Q] GoClever TERRA 90 (Root)?

Hi guys, recently i've recieved my new tablet (JellyBean 4.1)
It is fairly good for its price. I'm wondering if there is a possibility to root it. I can enter stock recovery but i cannt flash ANY zips, verification always fails. i've tried ZhuoDashi, root.zip, SuperOneCLick (even tried z4, andrunlock, gingebreak) I've also tried manual rooting via ADB by pushing SU, Superuser, and busybox, but still no awail...
Also it seems i dont have fastboot. i can enter reboot fastboot, but it just reboots normaly.

Don't know, we may ask some senior members to look into it. But i doubt they will, tablet is not that popular...

Sorry for the off topic but do you have problems with the internal memory? I just installed some apps and now I'm unable to update due to low memory in he internal (400 mb). I've search for a solution but there isn't for non rooted devices and that's how I ended up here .
It has a lot of native apps that cannot be uninstalled or moved to SD. I like this tablet a lot but if I'm unable to install or even update some apps I'll try to exchange it for another model.

goclever service told me that 3g modem GOCLEVER GCM02 should work with this modem (terra90)
so i bought it, connect and nothing :|
i turned off wifi, check acces point, tablet correctly find mmc so it sense this modem. i click on blue circle on the right, wait wait and NOTHING.
so your tablet work with 3g modem? or what should i do?

I really dont know, Wifi is **** on goclever its all i use as a connection..

Well, i installed adb on my PC via Android SDK, and typed in my cmd " adb reboot recovery " while tablet being plugged in. I hope i helped somehow!

My Xperial L stopped working after installing the new Cyanogenmod after restarted by CWM, the phone will not turn over, however, CWM lights still work, but when I press the volume buttons together, the lights go out and I can not open the CWM menu to make the recovery of the original ROM.
I tried another method, use fastboot to reinstall CWM, but my computer does not recognize the phone more.
Could anyone help me?

Hi,
First remove your battery and insert it back after 1 minute.
Then don't turn on your phone but try to connect to flashtool.
and flash stock ftf.
You should goog to go.

I have try many times, but not appear "The device has connected in Flash mode" menssage.
If the PC don't recognize my device, Flashtool not work.

Overclock Thunderzap
32gb SDCard
The only problem is the entrance of usb cable of my device, he just recharge the device, he not work to do a boot.
The way I see is change the entrance try again, but now, I need find other way.

try to flash kernel that suits your ROM, connect your phone in fastboot mode and flash it with flastool

Unffortunaly, no. I have tried find the drivers in SONY website, but needs the PC Companion with UBS Cable on Device, but in that time, my phone has been crashed.

You installed flash tool na?
Check d installation directory of flashtool and ull find drivers .......install it ....select xperia L option ...and install.
Then ull find drivers installed in pc !

You can try to flash back the stock firmware (MUST be the 4.2.2 version) via flashtool, root and install TWRP recovery with this app (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/development/app-recoveries-recovery-installer-t3187915).
I dont have any other ideas, make sure you do all that ROM flash stuff properly.

It's maybe because of an improperly unlocked bootloader. just reflash latest stock rom (Latest one Here) and check the state of bootloader (it should be " Bootloader unlock Done"). else, if you have Xperia L, use This Link to unlock the bootloader and install TWRP recovery, then install your desired Custom ROM

First, make sure your battery has enough charge to start. if not, then try charging it and then continue your testing. if it doesn't charge, then you should use external battery charger to directly charge your battery (or you may need to change your battery!?). after passing this step, use flashtool version 0.9.18.6 to flash stock rom.
For going into Flash mode, while your phone is off, press and hold volume down and connect it with cable to PC. now LED light should turn into green, and it should be in flash mode ! (nothing displays in screen)

Just got this phone from my friend - he erased too much in twrp recovery (whole partitions) and now can't turn it on. No bootloader mode, no flash mode. Only one com port is visible in device manager: Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008. Anybody with knowledge what to do on this model?

I think these are the signs of hard bricking (or the memory has ended his life). more info and discussions can be found HERE. till now, NO absolute working method has been found for Xperia L. sorry, but I don't have much info about this issue (Although I have this phone too)
