Looks like a firmware update?
Currently I have 3.33.401.53
Not shure what to do, as the phone is s-off and rooted.
Will this update affect s-off or root?

S-off i dont know but You Will loose root. You can try root keeper
Envoyé depuis mon HTC Sensation Z710e avec Tapatalk
i would say dont do it as there is a chance of loosing s-off but u will loose root 100%
you will not loose S-OFF
also i don't think that the update will have affect after installing
but if you loose root after the installation just simply flash supersu zip from recovery
U will not loose s off . . .

Ok, tried the update, but it wants to boot into the stock recovery. Which I do not have . Instead of that its boots into trwp recovery and from there, nothing.
It seems I will only be able to succeed when I install the stock recovery?
So, I might as well skip this ota.
Thanks for the support:thumbup:

Place the kernel on the root of your sd card,
Make a nandroid backup,
Wipe your cache and dalvik,
Flash kernel like a ROM.
You should do Lil research dude use the search key it is the heart if Android there is a lot if info out there but it depends in your room and if you want to overclock

I'm also not entirely clear on this neither despite looking arnd the noob section.
But do I have to flash the kernel seperately from the custom Rom? Does it not have it included in the Rom package?

Hi,
A custom ROM will have a kernel included.
This can be changed anytime after you have installed the ROM.
I've been trying to unlock my friend's

Android v 2.3.5.

You are confused which is confusing me which is all so confusing...
Why do you need the RUU? You said you are trying to use HTCdev, so go forth and unlock it on HTCdev then.
I tried to follow the instruction in htcdev and it says that I need to install Ruu first before I can go to the next step.

Your version should already match, just skip the ruu part and unlock it.

Hmmm...which stock? And where are you downloading from? Are you sure its an infuse stock firmware? Not one stock firmware has a boot.IMG, and none will call for one so I'm kinda at a lost why its giving you that error...if stocks what you want though you can give Odin or heimdal a try they will take you bact to stock with just one click of a button

Good day!
I just want to ask on how can I return back to GB V21E from ICS 4.04 V30A. My phone is rooted with CWM recovery & TWRP. Everytime I flash the V21E.KDZ file, im stock at 5% using modified LG update tool. Im currently using Iodak kernel 1.1 with Xperia Custom Rom for ICS.
Thank you for helping!
Use the "Resurrection Guide", it works for me:

That's strange. Have you followed every steps in the guide?

I sure Ive followed the instruction carefully. For the info my phone was upgraded to ICS v30b. Ive made unlock the bootloaders and install CWM recovery. but at the time I want to get back to GB I cant access the recovery mode anymore. But Istill can access fast boot & SW update mode.
Anybody encountered the same problem?

Assuming 4ext recovery is also installed .If not download from HERE
Then connect phone to pc , goto bootloader and flash recovery using fastboot command .. " fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.0.9-pyramid.img " without quotes
Then just download the rom paste it in sd card , goto recovery
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache/dalvik
format all partitions except sdcard
and flash the rom.zip
