dear chacha users
i'm fully rooted and on the roboto rom by Luke Arran
but the facebook button is NOT working
any modder or geek who can give me the app or files to make the facebook button work?
thanx anyway
ps: the roboto rom is based on cm9 / android 4.0.4

They've tried but didn't succeed as far as I know... to complicated without the source files from HTC it self

Xperia ARc Timescape For X10

Use the this version provided by MrIT
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1043489
use flashtool or xrecovery?
Use recovery.
Works great! Thanks a lot
does it works for 2.1 stock ROM?
It said back there. I wouldn't try if I were u to flash something designed for 2.2 into a 2.1 stock rom
Godd job.
Sent from my X10i using XDA Premium App
@kunal
On 2.1 Timescape widget will work but the app won't.
So u can't configure fb or twitter or even load the app for that matter.
So all u can do on widget is go through the messages and calls.
Why it doesn't work? Coz of sdk differences.
Why wasn't it ported to 2.1? Coz am too lazy to port it for 2.1, anyways most xda members will upgrade to 2.2 someday or the other.

Myth

If we don't try something from 2.3 on 2.2, we are being a pessimist
There is no harm in trying
Sent from my U20i using XDA Premium App
Just a simple stupid question .....
Timescape 2.1 was usable also in other launchers (ADW launchepro etc) the ARC timescape does not seems to be usable neither in 2.1 or in 2.2 ... is that correct ?
What will be with 2.3 ?????
Thanks
No question is stupid, only answers people give make the questions stupid
Arc Timescape app is launcher independent
But timescape widget and home have been coded in such way that u can't make the widget run on any other launcher (as of now <- being optimistic )
Sent from my U20i using XDA Premium App
ok...i am not flashing to 2.2 as of now
tried beta 4 for a loong while and now enjoying 2.1's last days
will upgrade directly to 2.3 now..no more 2.2 for my baby B)
i'm using FreeX10 beta 4 and it doesn't work somehow =(
@King
Sorry to ask but I dont know why a separate thread has been created here, cause this thing is already there in Wolfbreaks page and my ported apps page
Anyways, just to inform you, a line in the build.prop file is missing...

Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Told you not to. Use root explorer which costs like three pennys. Then go to system/apps and whe you see something like timescape, press the Mount R/W button then long press th e timescape app, and select delete.

Build.prob ICS rom

Hello everybody,
Is there somebody around here that could share an build.prob with the information for ICS in it. Prefered a stock leaked version.
Normal case i would just download the entire rom and extract the file.. but i am traveling at this moment and dutch opperaters are greedy with bandwith allowed for us.
Thanks already.

I recommend you try the rom.
Thanx, i have already ran ICS but some programs i use on the daily base are not supported just yet.

[ROM][S4] CM10 with Overclocked kernel [08252012]: CM nightlies : thread suspended

Thread suspended because of CM nightlies, until there is enough differentiation / improvement that requires a new ROM
Just built a new ROM from CM10 repo. My 1st ROM
Not to distract 'yzoni''s efforts, my intentions are same, that is to keep dev. efforts going on during European holiday season.
Special thanks to xkonni and intervigil for their repo & fixes.
Thanks to DZO for Overclocked kernel
All credit goes to them.
I take no responsibility for any damage you do to your own phone by flashing this ROM
Pls backup everything before flashing. Follow Xkonni's instructions for flashing.
Media fix: no source modifications done; But Gallery and even 'Play Music' works.
Follow workaround given here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30674513&postcount=22
i.e Remove .nomedia from /Android/Data folder
What works:
Everything! - report bugs
Known issues:
Video recording sometimes interlaces frames
Feel free to provide mirror downloads.

Although I doubt everything is working, good job building it. You got my thanks.
Anyway official nightlies are available so better send people there. http://get.cm/?device=ville&type=nightly
The video cam is working maybe 1 of 5 times. And FC alot. But its still better then the official CM build that does not work at all.

1 time must be better then 0 =P
One thing more. It seems that i have no meny button in any apps. Or at least i cant find it.
*edit*
Find the solution for the meny button. settings/system/hardware keys and then "show action owerflow"
So what have you done to continue development? Sorry, there are a bunch of CM kangs I've seen and it doesn't look like anyone is doing anything other than pulling changes from CM and typing make.

i´d like more device specific changes to cm10, the fluidity is not as good as jelly bean should be.
What's does cm10 official have that is different from this rom

Assuming this was built for the CM10 repositories its safe to say there are still problems with video recording and face unlock

actually, jhonny1525 posted this, first of all, to avoid the hastle and time invloved in downloading a rom..
if u have fast enough internet or some spare time, then u can do it for him
If that's the case, I have both of this things, so jhonny1525, say what, from which rom do you need, basically by my thoughts this are 'roise.apk' (or something similar) and I believe you need the 'frameworkres.apk'. So OP, just tell from which rom you wan't it.
But to port sense 4 from explorer is bad idea, better get those files from desire c or sensation, cos explorer's sense 4 is port from desire c altogether, if you wan't sense 3.5 that's something different.
Plz some one upload
Thanks in advance......
Sent from my ST21i using xda app-developers app
Check my previous comment and share some details. Which sense version, which rom, which files exactly.
I think need Rosie ,skin picker , htclockscreen.apk framework.........
I exactly don't know which files are related to home launcher I at least need this things if I missed some thing plz add it
(Everything stock or stock based
Sense 3.5 and deodexed)
Thanks in advance...........
Sent from my ST21i using xda app-developers app
Ok, that's the spirit, now look it is sense(which I don't like) and have no idea which particular files are needed for port, so if you need something else in the progress, do tell.
I think this is as close as it gets to stock rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2189199
So here are files, https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B5uKAxW9j6ezR04wSWx1ZFRWU00&usp=sharing and there are 2 folders, one is /system /app, if you need something more from there, another one is /framework folder. So good luck and have fun.

if you fix the camera - flash is very functional and can be used
By lowering the processor frequency to 1,134 antutu gives 20,000 parrots
after rebooting the device memory of the order of 1200-1300 megabytes
and not sens
but I'm not programmer
I just created a theme here
for information only and may not be useful to someone this firmware
maybe someone here can fix the camera

however, we did use the fact that we like and that it is convenient, right?
