Hi All,
Is there anyway to enable LTE radio in T-Mobile 8X to use with AT&T or international. According to the specs LTE radio is present in the t-mobile version. Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks

According to the specs, LTE is NOT present in the T-Mobile version.
Do you have one? Can you turn your phone over and see the model number?
Compare your model to the thread I started here.

Hi all, im very new to XDA & have no knowledge of bandwidths. I just recently bought a HTC Sensation (not sure what model, but it was from a local guy). Had it unlocked so i can use it with my ATT plan. every thing was working fine except i had no data & couldnt send/recieve MMS. When first turned on, there was no APN settings on the phone, so i applied the settings stated in the thread APN settings for unlocked Sensation on ATT by mekajt7 on 09/05/11. Now i have data & MMS is working fine execpt my data is only 2G??
If there's anyone out there with more extensive knowledge regarding this topic, or how to get my phone to pick up 3G?? pleeeeeese leave a reply.
ive spent hours online reading about the bandwidths & ive been getting mixed results.... some said yes, it should work & most said no.
I'm in need of some answers
thanks for reading
the only way an sensation can pick up att 3g signals is if you buy one from canada made for their bell carrier. other then that all you can get is edge. if you want 3g or even better, 4g and be in the usa, you need tmobile
thanks for the reply kpholmes. yea, that's the same thing ive been getting from reading online for 4 hours. do you or anyone else reading know the model number for T-Mo's version vs. Bell's version???
i know it's 710a or 710e. but which is which??

The Z710a is the North American (NAM) version sold by Canadian carriers and it supports the 850/1900/2100 3G bands that AT&T uses.
The Z710e supports the European and T-Mobile 3G bands.

so, T-Mo's is neither of these?? or is it the Z710e??
im just trying to get the model's correctly identified
thanks for the reply
T-mo is the same as european and asian version, it wont work with at&t 3G which is probably what you have. You need to get the canadian sensation from bell or virgin mobile model number z710a. If you look at settings>>about phone>>phone identity, the model number of your phone should be there. If it is z710e, then you are out of luck.
So the Canadian version can use 3G on AT&T? And 4G?

Yes the Canadian version can use AT&T 3G and HSPA+ network.
Hi guys, it's time to upgrade from my old Desire, and One S seems to be really the best replacement.
Unfortunately in my country there are just Z560e models, Z520e models are trading on much higher price
So I'm wondering can I get a T-mobile US version, flash an international RUU and use it with Europe 3G networks?
Here we use primary 900/2100 for 3G.
Sorry if this question is already asked, I searched a lot for the last couple of hours with no satisfying answer coming up.
Thanks

All T-Mobile US One S phones come with s4 processor. s3 One S phones are made for Asian markets.
With T-Mobile branded version you have to super CID it in order to flash different region RUUs.
Sent from my HTC One S
how I can perform this procedure if I have a htc 3g band 900/2100 and I have the 1900 as I do I have an s4

The One S is an awesome upgrade from teh Desire, trust me
Here is a table and some frequency info, but you should probably doublecheck with your carrier if you manage to find someone there who understands what you talk about;.)
http://www.anandtech.com/show/5868/htc-one-s-review-international-and-tmobile/7
From the review:
What’s awesome about the T-Mobile HTC One S is that it supports 2100 MHz UMTS Band I and AWS alongside Cellular 850 MHz and PCS 1900 MHz. The result is that if you either can find one unlocked, or unlock your T-Mobile One S, you get a quad-band phone which supports DC-HSPA+. I managed to get T-Mobile to unlock my One S, and had no issue using it on AT&T. If anything, I wish AT&T would carry a device like this, since I find the smaller form factor very appealing.

I checked already and my carrier is migrating from 2100 to 900 for the 3G.
T-Mobile doesn't support 3G on 900 Mhz, anyway GSM (voice) is quad-band and can work worldwide.
Hm.. I don't see working S-off or I'm wrong?
No S-off yet
I see s-off is not needed for SuperCID and people are changing their CIDs to flash the latest OTA update.
So everything about de-branding US T-Mobile version boils down to the question "is the hardware compatible with the international RUU and will it have working 3G in Europe?"
I still can not find a trusted answer of this question....

Then you should PM torxx. As he did TrickDroid for TMO US and the international version as well, he could be able to answer this question reliable.
You may find answers as well in these Threads:
[ROM][FINISHED][S4/S3][11 AUG] TrickDroid v7.1.0
[ROM][T-MOBILE-US][S4][FINISHED] TrickDroid v6.2.0
Also searching there is a bit harsh...
I know the p6800 is suppose to be the GSM variant, but I want to know if the i815 carrys GSM bands to work on carries like tmobile vodafone or at&t? Perhaps if it is unlocked? I know my HTC Rezound supports this. Just drop any sim, change the APN, and you're off!
If anyone knows if this tablet can do that, that'd be great!

I don't believe the i815 has a GSM radio.

This is correct. The i815 chipset only supports CDMA + Verizon's LTE.
Thread moved to Q & A section.
Hi,
well i read and saw some youtube post that he Verizon HTC One M8 comes sim unlocked.
Well i would like to purchase one and use on my Wind Mobile network (T-Mobile same). My current phone is from T-Mobile and unlocked and works fine on my Wind Mobile.
Can anyone confirm this that the Verizon comes unlocked and will work on T-Mobile/Wind Network?
Thanks you

There is a thread in the development section of the VZW M8 forum with a how to enable fully functional T-mobile usage.
But out of the box I think it supports Voice on GSM and HSPA+ data and there maybe some additional fooling around necessary to get Text and MMS working. This is generally the story with all Verizons new smart phones.

Lol there are some threads already and some videos. I also have purchased one. I can confirm it is unlocked. Works great with Canadian Fido, rogers, telus and bell.
Somehow it cannot detect wind mobile at all which is really odd. It is confirmed that it works with T-Mobile. My old lg g2 is from T-Mobile which is unlocked and works great with wind. I simply don't understand why the tmobile sim will work Verizon HTC one m8 and not my wind sim. Both are wcdma.

Wind uses 1700 mhz which T-Mobile uses as well but not exclusively. This is why t-mobile phones will work on wind but just because a phone works with T-Mobile doesn't mean it will work on wind.

Yea I really need a fix for this. Does anyone know how to make the Verizon HTC One M8 work on WIND Mobile (1700 and 2100 MHz on GSM/UTMS and AWS frequencies)
I really need help and quick.
Thank you in advance!
Hi all,
Its been a while since I was here and forgive me if this has already been answered but I wasn't able to locate this easily.
I just bought a Pixel and its in the process of being shipped. I know the US version of the phone would support T-Mobile fully (VoLTE and Wifi Calling).
Would the International version be able to support these features as well? I looked that frequency bands and it looks like all T-Mobile related frequency bands are covered under the international band. I don't really care much about the Verizon/Sprint CDMA bands so this is fine but I also hope I don't lose out on these two features.
I hope someone can shed some light on these two concerns of mine.
Thanks,
