HTC Stock Keyboard For ICS AND JB - HTC Pico (Explorer)

Yes, indeed the ics & jb keyboards (Latin IME) are very clumsy to use. I have found resort in SwiftKey 3 Keyboard. It's just brilliant !!
Trust me on this. It actually predicts out your words, what you are gonna type next.
I have friend's who are no more using sense 3.5 's stock keyboard anymore for the SwiftKey 3. another friend of mine, too uses it replacing ics stock keyboard (he owns Sony Xperia U).

Use the search option in xda. I read it once, there's a HTC keyboard app being developed. It might work.

I tried the Sense 4 keyboard once with CM9; but it FC'ed as soon as it opened. Settings opened fine.

It's already ported check out the wildfire s themes and apps section
Plus you even have sense 4 option in that keyboard so you have both sense 3 and 4 keyboards

hey the swiftkey 3 keyboard is awesome but i dont use it coz it takes up more ram than the stock one. i was using cm9 build#11 before and this keyboard it was flawless but when i started some games i faced lags dunno if it was due to insuffient ram or coz i had updated the game and the update was not stable. anyway i wanted to know was it due to swiftkey 3 or some other issue. thanks in advance!

Even i use SwiftKey 3. Nd, occasionally i play Dead Trigger. Nd, never i got hangs or lags.
Use Advanced Task Killer to kill apps excessively running & consuming ram space. Or, use Mobile Care by iobit. It has a Game Speeder feature.

Droid x keyboard?

Hello all. Recently I had found my perfect combination of rom/theme/layout. I'm running cm6 with the black mod theme and an android phone seven layout. I'm getting great battery life and clean crisp activity with no bugs or lag. But one thing doesn't match and that's my keyboard. I downloaded an IME blackmod keyboard but I'm so used to using the stock keyboard I simply cannot bear it. I saw in a Eris post while looking for keyboards the Droid x keyboard. It was very similar to the stock key board but all black. Do we hero users have a ported Droid x keyboard and if not is it possible? Let me know.

There are a few working Droid x keyboard on if forum if you search. But I don't recommend it, the keyboard works well and is very responsive, all but for space bar, that doesn't work 9 times outa ten

I didn't know people were theming swiftkey yet. I'll keep an eye out for others. I would never text/email without this keyboard now that I've used it for the past 4-5 months.
BTW ZenExp has the option to download/apply the droid x keyboard within the rom config, but I couldn't get it to work. Maybe someone else has had it work for them.
I'm currently using smart keyboard pro with a droid theme. looks very similar.

Opera browser 11

This is by far the fastest browser I have ever seen, it also has flash support and if you want to increase the speed of the browser just go to the browsers settings and select opera turbo, in which the webpages load at a drasticly fast pace. I highly recommend this browser.

Just downloaded it and it seems really fast, even with only 2 bars of 3G. Gonna test it out with 4G tomorrow and see how fast it really is.
Do you know how to make it full screen without the notification bar?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk
I believe to make it fullscreen, you have to go to the browsers settings and click navigation bar to off. That should make it fullscreen and remember if you want powerful speeds, just turn on opera turbo in the settings.

Doesn't do suggestions when i type a word Dolphin mini still better

It really is an improvement over the previous version, and it really flies.
There are some annoyances though. YT app is not loaded automatically after clicking on a YT link, Flash 10.2 crashes the browser, the auto complete in the address bar is unbelievably annoying. It also needs an easier way to change the User Agent.
Hope they can fix that in the future.

[APP] Huawei Launcher 2.2.1

This is a very beautiful launcher. Maybe someone can mod this for new possibilities.
I concur, it does look nice. seems to run fine... but I am sticking with adw. not that there is anything wrong with this launcher. but once I find an app that works the way I like its hard to make me change... although, I would at least consider it for this launcher.

I dont use this launcher daily but it has very usefull things.
You can hide icons and uninstall files directly from appdrawer. Its light and speed.
Built in conversation widget is very usefull. You can enable/disable icon backgrounds...
What i want if anyone can do is removing home icon and disabling 3d effect.
Very nice launcher! I've try on my nexus ( JB ) It i stall and It start but contiusly reboot... It would be great If someone try to port it

You realize the apk was posted in 2011 right? I doubt that you are going to receive any support on such an old post.

[Q] How to get sense widgets working on apex launcher

I have been using apex launcher since I rooted just because I like the vanilla look but don't want to stray from the stock ics sense 3.6 rom. One thing that kills me though is not being able to use my HTC widgets and apex launcher. Is there a fix to work around it?
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda premium
Nope sense widgets are locked to the sense launcher.

Sense widgets can only be called from sense launcher, that sense 4 clock is I think a themed one to look like sense 4
Would it be possible to theme the other widgets?

Would it be possible yes, but most likely nobody would.
Well I'll try to take it into my own hands. I wanted to see if it's been done already before trying. Thanks really appreciate it

For workaround the sense calendar you can search the play store for "apw"(android power widgets). I have the free version.
Using apex, I resized it to an entire screen size.
There's a lot more widgets that comes with it but I haven't checked if it has messages widget.
Mic check 1 two one 2.
Had some time to spare so I checked for you. Messages widget that they offer.

SwiftKey 3! Downloaded it a few months ago, haven't used any other keyboard since. Brilliant keyboard. It's saved me 28,900 keystrokes so far, corrected 4,335 typos, predicted 318 words and I'm 31% more efficient at typing because of it. I'm a rapid typer on my phone, so it really helps me out I'd highly recommend it.
Jelly bean keyboard is also good for fast typing, im using it ryt now
Download it and press thanks
