Warning:
Do not jump in blindly and flash any stock image you 'like'. PIT files are posted here for your information and to alert you to changes in partition configurations when they are introduced in a specific stock rom release. You MUST follow stock rom upgrade paths in the order they are being released; if you skip a release which contains changes to the partition configuration, problems may arise with any later version you flash.
PIT File
Use this PIT file when flashing with Odin, and ONLY if you have scr*wed up your default partitioning scheme due to specifying an incorrect one during a previous flash. Normally there is NO NEED to specify a PIT file when flashing with Odin!

Is the pre-rooted Android 4.3 Rom an SKT one? Or is it a debloated one?
I'm currently running 4.3, rooted. (after bricking it yesterday....! This device, a gift from a friend, has been a real pain for me the last 2 days)

It's the SKT (E330S) version and is full stock, with addition of the chinese samsung IME to support full screen handwriting of chinese and korean languages. Debloating (incl removal of knox components) is simple with help of tools like Titanium Backup and ES File Explorer; the reason I no longer upload debloated versions is due to the sheer size of these rom images and the limited storage space and bandwidth I have with my mediafire subscription.
The SMS size limit has been set to 160 and you can enter and send a batch of 5 messages at once, before it changes to being an MMS message. I haven't tested the SMS delivery notification, but I have enabled the menu item to set it.
Haven't tweaked the rom too much and left it in stock as much as possible. Most important was to provide a rooting mechanism without compromising the custom binary counter.

OK, implementing the SMS/MMS delivery notification was easy by editing the "feature" file in "system/csc/". I'm pretty sure I can also change the SMS max size limit from there but can't find the right line...
How do you remove Knox components? I had froze everything with "Knox" using Titanium Backup, and the result was s bricked device after a reboot (had to flash a stock 4.3 again). I'm already fed up with all these security notifications
(sorry for these questions, I'm coming from a Note 2 anf this is my first Korean device, I'm not used to it at all)

For max number of sms before switch to mms:
Edit in /system/csc/customer.xml
Code:
<Messages>
<SMS>
<PageLimit>6</PageLimit>
<MsgTypeThreshold>
<ThresholdValue>6</ThresholdValue>
For sms size limit, edit /system/csc/feature.xml
Code:
<CscFeature_Message_SmsMaxByte>160</CscFeature_Message_SmsMaxByte>
To get rid of annoying Knox components, I deleted the following files in /system/app:
KLMSAgent.apk
KLMSAgent.odex
KNOXAgent.apk
KNOXAgent.odex
KnoxAttestationAgent.apk
KnoxAttestationAgent.odex
KNOXStore.apk
KNOXStore.odex
KNOXStub.apk
(No problems rebooting)
Man, thanks for all these good advises!!! I had frozen the same apps with Titanium, but the result was a bricked device. Now I removed the apk and the .odex files as you said, and knox is gone while keeping root!
I now can start really enjoying this S4, thanks to you
EDIT: I now have the "enable delivery Notification" in my MMS settings, but actually, even if enabled, I don't get the notification....I'll have to mess around the feature file again
Are the ROMS for E330K/L/S interchangeable or is there some difference in hardware?

[DONE] how to determine the way a zip is signed, so strange

Hi Guys,
I got a In-Car android big screen audio system from FlyAudio from China (FlyAudio dot cn)
It cannot be rooted, so I try to add superuser in it's rom.
There's a baseqcom.flb upgrade file which has files structure just like general andorid roms: META-INF/recovery/system/boot.img etc.
But after I modified it, tried serveral sign tools, all them are failed to create a usable rom.
I compared the META-INF folder from the original zip & the modified one, found these differences:
MANIFEST.MF is same.
CERT.RSA is totally different.
1st line "SHA1-Digest-Manifest" in CERT.SF is totally different in value.
for example, the original is :
Code:
Signature-Version: 1.0
Created-By: 1.0 (Android SignApk)
SHA1-Digest-Manifest: D08XgebM4gH/Yeq3GEzqMM4OFJU=
Name: system/bin/xtwifi-client
SHA1-Digest-Manifest: 9s23YlJJUFK7zz0UySQqyrMiYJs=
but the one I signed is :
Code:
Signature-Version: 1.0
Created-By: 1.0 (Android SignApk)
SHA1-Digest-Manifest: 7rRdl81XQFMd4OohK7bJ2naBHlQ=
Name: system/bin/xtwifi-client
SHA1-Digest: 9s23YlJJUFK7zz0UySQqyrMiYJs=
The values for system/bin/xtwifi-client are SAME, and all other parts EXCEPT the global one.
Headers are DIFFERENT also: SHA1-Digest / SHA1-Digest-Manifest
Here's the link for downloading the ORIGINAL rom, promised no virus or anything harmful: pan.baidu.com/s/1i3Cc36P
It's actually a ZIP file, with the baseqcom.flp (zip too) contained in.
THANKS VERYMUCH FOR ANYONE REPLIES ME !!!

[ROM] AOSP 4.4.4 for grouper With DEXHUNTER.

AOSP 4.4.4 ROM baked with DEXHUNTER built in.
More info for dexhunter can be found here:
https://github.com/zyq8709/DexHunter
https://github.com/zyq8709/DexHunter/blob/master/slide.pptx
Credits to the DEXHUNTER team that put this together.
Usage:
If you want to unpack an app, you need to push the "dexname" file to "/data/" in the mobile before starting the app. The first line in "dexname" is the feature string (referring to "slide.pptx"). The second line is the data path of the target app (e.g. "/data/data/com.test.test/"). Its line ending should be in the style of Unix/Linux. You can observe the log using "logcat" to determine whether the unpacking procedure is finished. Once done, the generated "whole.dex" file is the wanted result which is located in the app's data directory.
Github Project Page Has more information.
String List:
360: /data/data/XXX/.jiagu/classes.dex
Ali: /data/data/XXX/files/libmobisecy1.zip
Baidu: /data/data/XXX/.1/classes.jar
Bangcle/Secneo: /data/data/XXX/.cache/classes.jar
Tencent: /data/app/XXX-1.apk (/data/app/XXX-2.apk)
ijiami: /data/data/XXX/cache/.
Notes:
This ROM is not rooted and has no modifications other than the DEXHUNTER integration(reason is some apps will detect root). If you have a custom recovery you can apply root easily via flash file. This ROM is built to analyze/dump dex data of packages that use heavy anti debugging, dex manipulation and dynamically loaded methods and classes . If you don't understand this, this ROM is probably not for you. Please deffer to the power point slides for more information.
This ROM has only been tested with Nexus Grouper. It May brick other devices.
Tested via Flashing with TeamWin recovery.

Looking for June-updated boot image

I want to avoid configuring the system from scratch and thus need to recover the official boot image for PPIS29.65-51-5 for the European version (reteu), which has been available since few days ago.
Does anyone know where to find it?
Stockrom[1] only has the Brazilian version (retbr) and lolinet[2] only has versions up to PPIS29.65-51-3. The Telegram Moto Updates Tracker[3] shows the update, but the download does not work and the older MotoOTA script[4] does not work neither (or I am entering incorrect information) and the newer MotoOTA script[5] needs the build guid, which I do not seem to be able to get from fastboot or TWRP.
If you have a matching model and version, could you please get the boot image[6] and put it somewhere?

Update
I learned that the former most recent version [7] can be used to find out the guid inside of oem.img inside of that zip file:
ro.mot.build.guid=7d7b4268f01b080
Using that information [5] can be used to download Motorola's OTA zip file. However, that zip file seems to be some kind of patch format (only 72 MB instead of the typical 1.9 GB) not including a (complete) boot.img. As I do not know the file format, I can't patch the new boot.img myself.
