Thanks
THANK THIS GUY ! for the knowledge and permission allowing me to make these builds atc3030
Give a thanks to the AOKP Team for making such a great ROM, loved by others, married by me.
Thank the Linaro Team for all the optimizations work and toolchains created and built to make our great tablets even greater.
THE GOOD PART
I will be creating nightly builds of AOKP using the latest Linaro Toolchain. These builds will be pure AOKP with no cherry picks [unless requested] ! They will be posted on my dropbox and mediafire.
Recommended:
Clean wipe for first flash, and if any problems are encountered. (Gapps in post below).
To get the full Linaro experience use a linaro kernel with it.

Thanks man! What gapps should we used?

I downloaded your latest and flashed but this is not 4.2. This is still 4.1.2. It only has one status bar.

4.2 isn't merged completely yet

The linaro toolchains don't really do much without the rest of their ROM patches for the ROM and kernel compiler flags.

If this is 4.1.2 why mention quick settings and JOP40D(4.2.1) in the changelog?

personally ? no. i was using normal aokp making nightlies, then found a thread with someone doing linaro, looked up linaor and decided to try it, then started making my nightlies with it, me and all my users agreed it was much snappier, you wont notice effects that much unless using a linaro kernel. I normally have a list of kernels compiled with linaro in the OP but i dont knwo which kernels are with the nexus 7

Trinity kernels are built using latest Linaro, for example.
Besides, using cpu spy app, you'll see the kernel building details, and so if Linaro is used.

Updated to 2.52

Updated to ParanoidAndroid 2.99 source code
Native hacks to keep the system stable and fast
Fixed Panorama mode
Live wallpapers now work!
Audio/video frameworks legacy OMX hacks (thanks gangster41)
Everything else is fixed now!
ParanoidAndroid specific changelog:
ParanoidAndroid 2.99 changelog can be found on paranoid-rom.com.
PA v2.2:
Fully merged Android 4.1.2
ParanoidPreferences 3.5
Better toggles
Temporally reverted transparencies (Statusbar & navbar)
Double IME on tablet fixed
Faster notification panel for tablet
Improved tablet notifications
Phone statusbar expanded bugs fixed
Do-not-disturb toggle (Disables notif. ticker and sound)
Hybrid, check environment (Disables build.prop ro.sf.lcd_density)
More butter than ever!
PA v2.18.1:
Based on Android JB v4.1.2 (r1)
New Toggle appearance
AOSP & CM patches & bugfixes
PA v2.17:
New toggles style. They're unified now to all possible UIs
Double token encryption for security
Double ime button fixed (aosp bug)
Gmail crashes fixed (app bug)
Google now hold-off delay fixed after sysUI restart (aosp bug)
Double notification ticket avatar fixed (aosp bug)
PA v2.16:
Tablet UI: "Notifications" in the notificationpanel/settingsview will now control the nag-overlay. Switch it off and you wont be bothered by it anymore. Notifications still come in with sound, icons show still.
Tablet UI: The notificationticker (the overlay) had a double avatar for messages. AOSP bug, looks perfect now.
Double recents SHOULD be fixed now. in rare cases it happened that you get twice the amount of your recents, mostly at startup. AOSP bug.
Front activity is not hidden from recents anymore. That means you can close the currently running app by swiping the thumbnail away. Also pretty neat for accessing hybrid props fast.
Center clock method rewritten, avoiding invalid behavior.
Statusbar transparency method also rewritten to change alpha instead of background color
Googles latest revision 6 has been merged by CyanogenMod. If you're using a Nexus it will probably kill every phone out there right now regarding speed and snappyness. For those who don't, buy nexus next time, or wait for samsung to give you project butter next spring.
Bugfixes, lil bit of memory saving.
Known issues:
Statusbar transparency can still cause issues for some devices, especially in tabUI. If you experience flickering, blinking or anything strange please set your statusbar opacity to 0%
Anything that shuts down the navigationbar will mess with googles home-button swipeup-to-gsearch function. There will be no delay anymore. You can reboot and it will be fine. Its an aosp issue - but we will look into it.
Some users reported that trebuchet in its tabUI crashes. We dont maintain it and hope that cyanogenmod will fix it. If not, should anyone of us have time we'll look into it as well. Should you have that, either use another UI layout, or try a different launcher.
PA v2.15:
Maintenance update:
Fix for trebuchet crash in TabUI
Fix for tabUI do-not-disturb setting against notification-popup (switch off notifications in the toggle section of your tabUI notificationcenter and you won't be getting these awful nag-pop-ups.)
PA-Walls refinements
Missing google r6 patches, merged by CM
PA v2.14:
Button panel fixes, also in landscape
Transparent statusbar (navbar comes soon)
4.1.1_r6 from aosp
Lag fix for Nexus devices
Nexus 7 new hybrid properties
Backup/restore is 100% fixed
SuperSU instead of SuperUser
New ParanoidWallpapers app including solid color selection
More stuffs!
PA v2.13.1:
CM Patches
PA Patches
PA v2.10.1
ParanoidPreferences 3.1. Faster loading and writing. Superuser almost avoided.
Optional menu button, or just merge with recents in tabUI.
Fixes for frozen sysbar in tabUI
CM has a whole bunch of patches and commits, check their changelog please.
Archived Versions:
20120826v1.992
Maintenance update, bugfixes and patches.
... many more minor fixes.
20120819v1.991
Maintenance update, bugfixes and patches.
20120810v1.9.8alpha
Project butter recents in tabUI (2/2)
Quick access hybrid properties by longpressing a recent app
More refined hybrid algorithm to reveal more layout containers
TabletUI toggles
All recent cm merges (Trebuchet, googles 4.1.1 r4 with a whole bunch of fixes for memory leaks, etc)
20120806v1.9.7alpha
New option: "large" to trick an app thinking the device has a real big screen. some need it, like amazon kindle to jump into tabUI. some even react on it, gdrive will slightly adapt its layout - makes only sense if you give it a small dpi though.
The algorithm to extract the actual layout containers from apk files works more precise and can reveal more than before. there will still be a few apps left who do that layout stuff in java - we will add an override button for that, but in the meantime you can edit /system/etc/paranoid/properties.conf .layout=360 for phone-like UI, 600 for phablet, 720 = tablet, 1280 = super huge tablet
Several bugfixes from us and cm
20120806v1.9.6alpha
Breakthrough: We can finally target the actual layout containers inside the apk. If an app brings only phoneUI, you see it right away as you only have one UI option. If it brings ten, you will be able to pick each one of em. We're finally away from this Phone/Phab/Tab nonsense.
Total Hybrid engine revamp, alot less clutter, many bugfixes, apps wont make jumps when you load them up because their actual size is calculated by the engine.
Panel is still growing. It brings new options and new preferences that can even change android system settings.
All recent cm10 patches and fixes
20120803v1.95alpha
Finally hardware accelerated recents in TabUI, as fluid as ever. The ugly gradient is gone aswell
Paranoid got its own dir in /system/etc/paranoid - pad.prop is not properties.conf
A clean backup properties file is shipped, you can make a full reset in the panel in case you lost it with all the settings you made
Force option can be activated in the panel, good for widget scaling
The DPI sliders in the panel read min/max props from properties.conf, define them as you like
TabUI Recents are back to a bigger size, this is temporary, i'll look for ways to port the phone implementation as project butter skipped the tabUI code
CM fixed a lot of features again, we included them all
Not Working:
Google now voice (Legacy ARMv6 bug)
How to set the workspace mode
How to change an apps Layout and size
The whole ParanoidAndroid team, for the ROM.
The LGICS team, for the device trees.

For the time being Beantstalk proves to be good enough not to switch to another ROM. Are there any major improvements or things that are present in Liquid and not in Beanstalk? I've used Liquid before and loved it but I usually try some ROMs then settle on one of them (theoretically the one which is most often updated). So if there is not something radically different, I don't feel the need to switch
Maybe this could be the answer why there are not so many reports on this one...but I must admit Liquid is one hell of a ROM. If it has all the features from Odyssey or Beanstalk I might try it as well
Maybe folks are waiting for kk.
However I did try this rom and it has all the features you could want from what I could tell.

That's not a stopper for me. I hate everything else but English in any technical related stuff...especially computers and gadgets. That mean I'll give it a try maybe this night even if Beanstalk looks smooth also. But I remember how smooth Liquid was, smooth as...liquid
This ROM is just straight up fantastic!!!
Have been on custom roms since december 2009 - on 6 different kinds of hardware so far.
On my One S I have tried almost all roms - frantically looking for a smooth, clean and stable rom.
Have been on CM 10.1, CM 10.2 and MIUI v5 as the latest ones.
This one beats them all. Thank you guys!!!!!
I think you should set the 3 dot overflow menu button to show as default for the One S, since i come from Sense roms (and it's by default there), it's been annoying me all day and only found out just now that you can actually enable (or disable) it
OK, I've flashed it. Mostly has the same functionality as Beanstalk or Odyssey. What I couldn't find though, maybe I've overlooked it, is the capability to wake the device by vol buttons. Since I'm using bubba, I have swipe2wake so it's not such a big loss, but I was more used with vol wake. Also there are not so many battery icons available to choose from
What I DO LOVE is the new LiquidSmooth boot animation. They changed it since I was last using this ROM and they did a great job. Now I'll see how it is going in th next few days with it compared to Beanstalk

Just for clarification, the download link with cherry picks is the one with modified Camera stuffs. Let me know which you prefer. If there are too many issues with the modified build I'll try again before abandoning the changes completely. Thanks guys and gals!
First.thanks for another great ROM and thank you BMP
Cherry picks work for Camera!
Thanks @Kiltnar, the 5-second delay is gone! While the preview didn't work with the Camera2 and Gallery2.apks that are included even when switch to 480p, I swapped both apks with the two from the Unofficial CM 11 04/01 version, repaired permissions and now I have no delay and fully working preview on camcorder! If you want to test to see if it works for you too. I am attaching them here. Thank @ThdDude as it's from his rom.
Also I noticed that in the build.prop in /system that the line "lpa.decode=true" hasn't been changed to false, I know it's a mainstream CM merge, but just wanted to let you know. Thanks again for your awesome work!
Hey this looks really cool! I may give it a spin soon. Thanks for sharing!

I dirty flashed myself and the delay was gone after the rom Optimized the Apps. I did experience a random reboot, but that was shortly after I changed the governor and made a call, which most likely is caused by the dirty flash. After it rebooted, I haven't had a problem, but will let everyone know if I do.
Has anyone tried the addons through aroma like xscope or the sweetener pack? I always get set_perm: some changes failed.
Is the 5second delay gone ?,
No more reboots after video preview? Can you add wakelocker. cLock. Mass storage
?
We need screen shots of rom. Please.. Thank you

I haven't tried them out. But will once it charges. I'll let you know if I experience the same thing. Will be making another build with Bluetooth fixes .. Ie reverting a commit that seems to help Bluetooth along from @Almite github. He seems to have the only KitKat rom with no Bluetooth issues. I took a look at his github and saw he reverted a commit dealing with Bluetooth. I'll build in a bit with this fix.

Awesome. Sounds good.
Obviously these addons aren't essential but just throwing it out there for what its worth. I tried it out on my N7 and everything seemed to work (install) fine. However, after it booted no changes took effect. Everything was still stock. Not sure if a candy issue or what but just throwing it out there in case its just a ROM wide issue for now.

Yeah that's the commit that changes lpa.decode to false. I noticed the Parandroid rom, the last beta has that commit reversed also. It was @Almite who told me about it when I was experimenting with his Hercules rom.
Bluetooth Build fixed?
Here's a build with the LPA commit reverted for bluetooth. http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=5443
Also I tried all of the Generic Device aroma installer zips. They all installed fine but did not install the selected changes. Tried a couple twice, fixed permissions, but it did not work. @BMP7777 Can you check into this please?
Thanks guys and gals. Let me know if this fixes the bluetooth issues for those that have had problems, if this works I'll add this fix to my other builds to get bluetooth working on them as well. Thanks for all the support guys and gals, it means a lot.

I just tried the new build and unfortunately it didn't fix the Bluetooth issue. Once I launched Apollo, it fc and when I checked the build.prop, the lpa with still set to true.

From now on, most of my projects will be hosted on AFH. I'm going to have fun with this. At any point, you may feel free to peek around, but be warned: files not in the Slim folder and until otherwise noted might be dangerous and/or just won't boot your phone.
If you do, however, try those files, shoot me a P.M. I'd love to hear your thoughts
