my pico can't read sd card after i try to install the v6 supercharger
it was okay for a moment then after i install an app came out force close and then the phone shut down.
then i took out my battery and then insert it again when it turned on my pico won't read the sd card even in bootloader
why is this happening?. did i do something wrong?
pls help its frustrating

Hey guys I notice that the EncFiltLog.menc file causing my sd card to become very sluggish and practically unusable. When this happens it cause my touch pro not to boot up until the sd card is taken out and placed in the computer and remove the EncFiltLog.menc file. With that said while running the sd card on the computer it takes 5 min to load up and removing the EncFiltLog.menc file takes 5 mins it self... however once its gone the sd card is back to normal running fine with no problems.
This started to happen when I try to mess around with XDandroid. Whats causing this file randomly go to the root of my sd card?
It's created by mencfilt.dll. Use a rom that has it removed. I can't tell you why it's acting up, though.

see ever since I remove the android out my 8gb sd card it doesn't do it any more lol however if I put my 2gb sd card with android its fine.... something with 8gb and android... or idk

I have problems with the sd card (16gb, calss 4) and ICS Roms. Under most ICS Roms (Android Revo, InsertCoin, Leedroid,...) my SD card wont be recognized. Under Gigerbread i had no problems with the same card. The recovery recognized the card also without any problem. Only HyperNonSense ICS recogniced my SD Card without any problem.
Please help me... -.-

If your getting general slow SD card, issues with content on there being read, backup the importent stuff like photos etc and format SD card, seems the old android files on SD card may be messing things up. thanks orihuri for the tip.
If this didnt help and your still having prolems with slow SD card speeds download sd booster from the market and set the cache to 3000+ thanks to lws803 for the tip.

Hi everyone,
My Sensation XE is running stock ROM, no root whatsoever.
& it has been repeatedly having "SD card removed expectedly" issue.
When the issue appeared, the phone couldnt read the SD card. I've swapped a new card & I still get the same problem.
All I could do is to turn the phone off, remove the card, re-insert the card, turn the phone back on.
Any advice please?

Same here with my sensation XE.When it gets heated after prolong use especially on games, it gives me this same error message on sd card unmounts unexpectedly
I have the same problem with my HTC Sensation XE phone.
I have already done all its updates - it has SENSE 3.6 and runs on Android 4.0.3.
It has never been rooted, it runs on the original HTC software.
I am using an 16GB SD card on it - major brand, I believe it is SanDisc.
The problem always appears when I try to update an app that is installed on the SD card, or when I try to record a video, or when I try anything with an app that starts using the SD card.
It was doing it rarely before, and now it does it twice a day.
It is very annoying.
The only thing that fixes this is to restart the phone 2 times in a row, as by first restart the SD card is still invisible.
Anyone has any idea how to fix this problem?

Have you tried removing the SD card and putting it back?
I had this issue for a day before. I removed and inserted it back, did a full wipe and it was fixed.

no nothing happened .. i am getting this issue with 8gb sd card .. while phone working fine with 2gb sd card
My SD card stopped working on ma sensation all of a sudden .....
i was jus copying a rom from my pc to sd card on ma phone whn ma sd card stopped working all of sudden ,......... i tried another old sd card i had with me hoping it a complaint with ma sd card but no luck
seems to be something Wrong with ma phone or Rom
i am on latest Viper Rom....

I would try a new SD card. Not exactly sure what to do if that didn't work...you can try this method.., get a SD card reader, they are around 5 dollars,, then download a new rom to the computer, copy that rom to SD through card reader put card in phone with battery out, place battery back in, hold volume down and power until boot loader comes up, press recovery, power button for yes, try to install new rom this way and see if issue still persists. This might work if it's rom related. It wouldn't hurt to try. I'd do this with a new SD card. Or you can try to use old card this way too. Just experiment and see if you can get another rom running and see if issue still persists. I wish you the best. Good luck.

i am using this phone since the very beginning,(miss that franco guy) but
when i was studying to university,i gave this phone to my brother

phone was running awesome,until last week my brother said "the SD card cannot be detected"
i think its just common problem with a2sd,will fix it by rebuilding dalvik,fix the SD in windows,but BAMMM!!
it still not working,so i back to CWM,try to manual mount,still noluck
tried with another SD from my samsung,still no luck(even in clockwork)
