Heys guys, I've copied all my photos and videos to my PC, formatted my SD card and copied them back.
Every date was changed to current date, so photos and videos were being displayed in wrong order.
I've used QuickPic gallery app to fix date based on EXIF, but videos are still wrong. Is there a way to fix that?
My filename is something like VID_20120929.mp4, so I need to change its date to 2012-09-29
I've tried using "touch" command via ADB but had no luck (touch -t 201209291111.11 VID_20120929.mp4)
Do you have any ideas?
bump?
I need a solution too

Ok. I accidentally deleted a really good picture that I took off of my phone before I dumped my pictures on my hd, but it is still showing as my today screen background image. Where the hell is it on my phone? It's not here: WINDOWS\stBackImage.png, as on older versions.... please help.

doesnt help
ok i have been searching all over for an answer for you and here is what i found at least on my phone. I installed mun background changer today so i dont know if you have that as well but you can try and see if things are the same. Using total commander go to windows directory then HomeBackground.img try that see if you have that file. If you do copy it and save it on your computer than access it because i cant access it from the phone. Here is what i did copied the file from the windows directory into my memory card using the phone then accessed the memory card from my computer renamed the file to .jpg because my computer could not open .img and it worked.
EDIT: yup that is it. I went ahead and installed mun background changer and everything softreseted uploaded a picture as my wall paper so i can recreate the same scenario you have and the file is located:
Windows/HomeBackground.img
ill try this and see if it works... thanks for your help
Tada.... it worked...
The file is right in the Windows directory.
Thanks so much.
You are the man, or woman, whichever.
Hello all.
Greetings.
I am using FB 6.5 rom. I am currently located in gangtok, india, so there is no weather option for that city. got the location code which is ASI|IN|IN030|GANGTOK, but I am not able to edit the HTC weather file in Windows folder. I used CE Total Commander to change the attribute of the weather database file but in vain.
Is there any other editor which I can use to edit the windows file on my HTC S710?
Thanks.
Here you go.
BTW, the modified file will only work if FB is using a modified dll, but you will see if it's working.
Just replace the file with the one froom me after you modified it.
Hi,
Thank you for the quick response.
I added two entries in the table referring to the location given in http://www.accuweather.com.
The locations are:: Darjeeling, IN;ASI|IN|IN036|DARJEELING;India and Gangtok, IN;ASI|IN|IN030|GANGTOK;India
However when I try to update the weather choosing the entered location that is Darjeeling IN or Gangtok IN it, it says attempting to download data.... and after sometimes it says Unable to retrieve date for selected city.
Is there anything I am doing wrong?
Please suggest.
Also repplace this file!
Hello.
I have placed the "WeatherUpdateService.zip" file in the windows folder still I am not getting the weather update.
After I placed this file "WeatherUpdateService.zip". I guess I am facing another issue, coz I am not able to change to another city from the list.
When i select another city, it stays is the pervious selected one.
You have to unzip it....
HI frauhottelmann. Thanks for being so kind. Actually I have unzipped and place the containing file. Once I place that file I was unable to switch between cities.
thsnks.
Hi there,
I was wondering (and searching different boards) if there is no option to copy files from internal/sdcard flash by schedule. I do a titanium and sms backup every sunday and would like zip/rar these folders and copy the saved archives to any folder on my network (a nas, which I have already mounted in my android).
Commandline with the terminal emulator wouldn´t be a problem, but I dont know how to run scripts by schedule.
Edit: If someone knows how to copy these archives to the installed dropbox sync, this would be awesome too!
Thanks!

For scheduled commandlines , google for cron / cronjob.
Well I did a simple script with GScript Lite and copied the dirs to a smb-share which I mounted with mountmanager. Did work pretty well, but then I stumbled up on the DropSpace-App which works exact the way I want to.
Thanks anyway, darken
Hey guys,
I have a (german) HTC Diamond Pro (Raphael) and after "some" tweaking, I managed to install FRX.07.1. Problem is that I can't calibrate the screen. During the boot process, it says "Using saved screen calibration", even after I deleted the ts-calibration file from the directory. I tried a new kernel (Kernel 1225), the latest ts-calibration file- nothing changed. I don't get the five dots/spots to calibrate the screen, so it's completely messed up. I can't even unlock by swiping across the screen because of that....it's really frustrating and I'm extremely thankful for every bit of help. So: What can I do?
Summary:
- screen can't be calibrated, is messed up
- I tried other ts-calibration files
- I tried to force calibration by deleting the ts-calibration files
which raph? Mine is a Japanese raph 100, and I was able to make a calibration on the first install of frx 07. It was tough to do because the screen flooded with text but I was able to get it done.
Can you try to install frx06 or 07 to get a calibration file?
Have you tried THIS yet? Preferably after a format of the microSD
Alternatively, you could save your current configuration by zipping up the contents of the microSD into a single file and then start fresh (after a format) and run the kernel mentioned to get the ts-calib file. After that, copy the ts-calib file to your computer and format your microSD. After you extract what you have saved, copy over the ts-calib file over as well and see if that works.
So I am going to try to explain this issue, but basically I am not able to attach/upload files to websites. I am using Chrome browser and Astro or CM file manager to choose the file, it was originally saved on the SD card but I have also copied it to the local system folder /downloads and from either location I get an error message "failed to open file" after selecting the file. I have verified that the file is not corrupt and have saved it as .txt .doc and .docx formats each one produces the same results. Has anyone else running The CM nightlies come across this issue?
**update** Just flashed the 315 nightly for CM and it still is not working, anyone else experience issues uploading to websites?
