Speed-Flasher (Search in GooglePlay)
This little app features velocity measurement through the camera of your mobile phone.
The measured speed and the noise volume dba (decibel) of the bypassing object is shown on the display of the mobile device.
Set the flashlight option to make a flash if the maximum speed limit is met.
*How to use*
Before you start the measurement, you have to set the following fields to get correct speed values.
1)Viewing Width of Camera in Meter
Enter a estimated or the correct horizontal length of the live camera view.
2)Flash Speed
Set a maximum speed limit, if a object exceeds this limit the flashlight will be activated.
3)Moving Pixels on Screen in %
With this you can adjust the sensitivity of the motion detection
Keep your mobil absolutly wobble-free.

Do you use your phone a lot on constant brightness? Does this drain battery or strain your eyes? Here's an application which will help you get accustomed to lower screen brightness.
hxxp://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.torcellite.smartscreen
Smart Screen reduces brightness gradually from two settings set by the user. You can also add a screen filter to it.
How to use the app:
To start, set a comfortable start brightness and a lower end brightness. You can see the previews.
Set by how many points the brightness should fall every cycle.
Set the cycle time in minutes. Minimum being minute.
Also apply a screen filter if using at night or if required.
Once complete, a notification will pop up allowing you to reset your brightness and disables the filter.
NOTE: ENABLE FILTER ONLY RIGHT BEFORE PRESSING START OR YOU CANNOT CUSTOMIZE THE TIME AND BRIGHTNESS REDUCTION POINTS.
You can also use the app as a dimmer. Just enable the filter and leave it. You dont have to press start. To disable, go to the app again and uncheck "Enable screen filter".
Example:
Start brightness : 200
End brightness : 100
Reduce brightess by: 15
Interval : 2m
So, the app will reduce brightness by 15 every two minutes from 200 to 100.
The screen filter is to add a shadow kind of effect.
About this app:
Refresh Rate Control: Easily control the max refresh rate (Hz) of android devices with multiple refresh rates (e.g. note20 ultra, s20/S20+/S20Ultra, z fold 2, s21/s21+/s21Ultra, tab S7/S7+, z fold 3, z flip 3). This app can limit max refresh rate to 96hz (or any available refresh rate) on supported smartphones - you can save power with negligible difference on smoothness. Use either the in-app toggle or quick settings tile - ADB setup or Root NOT needed.
Force High: Option to use High(Fixed) motion smoothness mode on Samsung devices with native Adaptive motion smoothness***
Current Samsung smartphones natively supporting adaptive refresh rates:
Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
Galaxy Z Fold 2
Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra
Galaxy Z Flip 3
Galaxy Z Fold 3
Refresh Rate Monitor: Show real-time screen refresh rate as statusbar icon and/or as overlay. Overlay size and location is adjustable. Use either the in-app toggle or quick settings tile
Quick Resolution Switcher: Easily switch to any supported resolutions using the included quick setting tile***
Quick High/Adaptive on Power Saving Mode: Easily switch to high or adaptive motion smoothness mode (from Standard) even on power saving mode on supported Samsung smartphones.***
Note: Not working (blocked by samsung) on some devices with OneUI4.0
Force to Lowest Hz: Force lowest refresh rate on screen-off/AOD. This overrides Samsung's strange stock behavior which sets the refresh rate to the highest on screen off (update: it is now at 60hz since oneui3.0) - to improve standby power consumption a bit - ADB setup or Root NOT needed.
Auto apply power saving mode during screen-off (after ~ 10 secs)***
Tasker plugin support: Automate GMH settings with Tasker app. Supported actions/variables: max refresh rate, min refresh rate, keep smooth motion on PSM, motion smoothness mode, quick-doze mod, change dispaly resolution, auto sensors off. More info in FAQs below
Premium Features:
Keep High/Adaptive motion smoothness when power saving mode is enabled whether manually or by the system/adaptive power saving***
Note: Not working (blocked by samsung) on some devices with OneUI4.0
Adaptive refresh rate mod for devices supporting multiple refresh rates but do not have the stock Adaptive motion smoothness (e.g. S20 series, S20FE, TabS7/S7+,S21FE) with the ability to set the brightness threshold for its activation***
Quick-doze mod: Quickly enter doze mode during screen-off that can not be interrupted by motion ***
Set minimum refresh rate for adaptive mode to 60hz or lower (if supported)***
Resolution switcher filter: Filter what screen resolutions to include for the resolution switcher QS tile.
Auto SENSORS OFF (experimental non-root workaround):
Device sensors will automatically turn off while screen is off until the device is unlocked. This helps minimize battery-draining motion-triggered wakelocks while device is not being used.
Statusbar net speed indicator

***these marked features require a one-time ADB setup (this is not root)
Info: This app targets older android sdk in order to control refresh rates without ADB setup. Just ignore the dialog that says "This app was built for an older version of Android...." when opened for the first time.

Cover display of ZF2 is not capable of 120Hz, only 60Hz. That is a hardware limitation.
Any eta on getting fix to enable adaptive 120 hz on psm.

In the same way that websites recognize mobile devices vs desktop computers - and alter their visual and use formats to each one; some android applications recognize cellular phones vs wifi tablets, etc. and also alter the way the applications behave.
Example: google voice on a tablet can dial out calls with just the google voice number. google voice on a cellular phone that has no cellular service cannot dial out with just the google voice number over wifi.
(This is a somewhat un-recent change in application programming, and so far does not affect incoming calls.)
Q: Can an android cellular device be programmed, rooted, or OS swapped to appear as non-cellular device?
When Android device boots up then always the ratio between pre-defined screen height and screen width get computed and the device's screen orientation is accordingly set: either to landscape mode (value of height <= width ) or to portrait mode ( value of height >= width ).
By means of ADB - or several 3rd-party-apps - you can set screen's default width and height to be used.

How does altering the screen dimensions make an application such as google voice believe it is running on a tablet instead of a cellular phone?
