Thanks in advance for all the suggestions.
So i have an HTC Inspire 4G and i made a mistake while rooting the phone.
I used the ace hack kit and followed all the steps until the point where you turn S-OFF using the command prompt. So when the phone restarted with out turning S-OFF i tried to install a custom ROM using ClockworldMod Recovery v5.0.2.7. After updating when i rebooted the phone, it freezes displaying just the HTC logo.
Now i have lost the stock ROM. So is there any way to Turn S-OFF or even install a new or any ROM without turning S-OFF.

I rooted my Htc Evo 4G with 2.3.5 OTA, downloded SU app and Wifi Tether but wouldnt work, i would get a Non-Subscribed member from Sprint Hot Spot. Googled many blogs and I found this tread here on XDA developers (HOW TO ROOT WITH HBOOT 2.18.0001 s-on 2.3.5...+ s-off revolutionary) I retried rooting process and got to step 21 to reboot phone, it did but from there foward phone goes back to Hboot mode I tried doing the clockwork recovery and even then same deal back to hboot mode. I get a no image error while on hboot menu from initiall fastboot menu to recovery, I would greatlly appreciated and can even tip to get help to finish process.
I have a htc inspire 4g from at & t. I rooted it using ace hack kit and it was great. However,i was trying to root another inspire and made the mistake of rerooting my phone.Well half way threw the process the hack kit stopped and i made the mistake of wiping my data.So it was basically a break till i read up on what to do to bring it back.So i ran a stock att ruu on it and it returned it to a stock rom with 2.3.5 and sense 3.0 . But i lost root,my bootloader says locked and i had eng s-off but now i only have s-off.I lost superuser and cwm.Ive been told i could still reinstall cwm as long as i have s-off but it simply wont do it.i even tryed to run the hack kit again but it wont work.Someone told me to unlock the bootloader and then i will be able to flash cwm.But i am not sure.oh and i tryed to flash cwm but it says superuser was not found.i used rootfinder and it too says my phone is not rooted.could someone please help?I know i messed up too not reading the effen manuel but i.. .am new to all this and i panicked when my phone went black

That's 4ext recovery RC7.
Place it in the root of the sd card, reboot into hboot, follow the instructions. Once done, remove the file from the root or delete it.
If you prefer cwm recovery, you can get it from my signature in glevitan's guide in post#7.
After whichever one you choose, get the rom of your choice and flash normally or flash the supersu.zip which you can find in xda to get root access. (Edit: for some reason now I'm doubting if the supersu.zip will give you root access. Perhaps it's the lack of coffee.)

If you are S-OFF you can run the option to install cwm recovery from the aahk. Once you do that, reboot into recovery and flash a rooted ROM.

Hi,
Did you make a nandroid backup before you started.
If so,restore it .
If not,why not?
Look HERE
Follow the thread to get 4EXT recovery on your phone ,and using "Smartflash" to get custom ROMS onto your phone.
Use fastboot usb and try flashing boot.img over adb. It worked for me

i have a similar problem. cm10 will install it all goose good until you get to the setup part then it reboots. everytime.almost like a bootloop. i have s-off. unlocked bootloader, supercid. but my hboot is 1.17.0008. i went thru revolutionary do i need to update my hboot and do the hole root over useing jb? the onlything i can think of.........any ideas???
Yes, firmware 1.17 will ALWAYS cause reboots on android 4.x. Update your firmware (probably to 3.33)
Look here for details: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21711154
Follow all instructions to update firmware. You basically put the file on your SD card and boot to bootloader. The bootloader should update the firmware from there.

Hi your issue is your h-boot version. You need to downgrade it to 1.49xxx
Here's one guide to check out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1247392
There are a few guides to do this. If this one doesn't work, try another
Once you succeed you can flash anything
Good luck
thank you
But i cant do 2 steps :
1.Plug Evo 3D gsm in charge mode.
&
2.plug your sd card.
as my mobile facing boot loop problem
so is they any other way & can i get boot.img
