Does the Note 10.1 have 1GB or 2GB Ram - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

there are many sites listing different spec below are just two both from Samsung, showing the UK model
Neither Samsung direct, nor their flagship London store could give me a concrete answer, for the difference
I called John Lewis, they told me it's 1GB, but there website lists it as having 2GB.
Is the Note 10.1 1GB or 2GB of RAM?
Is there a UK /international difference, if so how do you tell?
Spec 1GB*

Spec 2GB*

That is wierd... thought that all should have 2GB.
Anyway, my has. Bought it from Sweden. It's the GT-N8000 (3G+Wifi) 16GB.
You can see that in the task manager (RAM manager).

I too have 2GB. I have a 16GB WiFi from Singapore.
A bastard though: software says it's a 8010, but label on back says it's a 8013.
But it is the inside that counts, right?

=)

Okay
went to Samsung's Flagship store, I was told it's 1GB, the sales rep check with a colleague who also confirmed it was 1GB, indicating that the website was wrong.
switch on a device went to RAM Manager, free memory 1.78GB call the sale rep who was very surprised who mentioned this to his colleagues, again who was surprised.
went to John Lewis again told the same 1GB, check the unit on display and showed them,
at the end of the day purchased the unit from Tesco Direct, excellent deal only ones know what they where talking about,
so best UK deal is Tesco Direct, as you get 3398 points which is about £33 pounds off
UK has 2GB White version if purchased via shops,

[Q] 16gb in store availability in NY

Ok so I am last day in ny before going back to uk, I've seen some 32gb transformers in J&R for $540 but I want 16gb for 399 + tax....
Has anyone seen 16gb TF available in any of NY stores? I am a bit desparate (hence this post) as I really wanted to buy one while I am here in us but didn't anticipate such problems with availability....
Sent from my HTC Desire
$540 for 32gb is still a lot cheaper than 16gb in the UK ..damn!!!
Didn't even know the transformers was already in stores.. might go to J&R after work.

That's the thing, if it was I'd go for it. But it isn't that much. 540 is about £330, considering you *may* need to pay import tax its not that much cheaper, and you don't have convenience of just taking it back to store if something goes wrong or you have light bleed or something...
And personally I discard difference between 32 and 16gb because frankly I don't need 32gb.... and SD cards are cheap...
So Yes, TF for $430 is a lot cheaper in us than in uk.$540 isn't that great price anymore....

Note 10.1 UK stock?

I am trying to find a uk stock for he grey version 3g but noone seems to have it yet.
Expansys are lying to everyone posting that the stock will be in less than 5 days and when you place the preorder you see that actually you are getting it in a month! On email communication they said no earlier than the 14th of september. Conveniently they do not put that on the site so they can get more pre-orders.
Amazon uk says unknown expectancy and cfw doesn't even list it!
Anyone knows a reputable shop that can give us an idea of when its coming?

Clove Technology seem a decent enough outfit. You could ask them when they will have a grey one.
Iirc it'll be around 1 week of Sept to get the grey ones. Asked the Sammy flagship store in Westfield.

You can pick up the Grey wifi version on ebay now for £429.99. £30 more than itll be sold in stores when released but worth it if you dont want to wait.. delivery was 3 days and the tab is perfect glad I ordered it rather than settle for the white.

Does the UK version come with 1gb or 2gb ram memory?
Thanks
John.
Thanks for the responses.
Good ebay link but with my luck about electronic devices lately, I'd rather get it from a shop that can guarentee me the 30d replacement.
I think all notes will come with 2gb of memory

Just Samsung UK Website says "1GB SDRAM Memory" , when the global website says 2GB

WANTED: P6800/6810 -- 32gb version (NEW)

I am looking for a BRAND NEW Galaxy 7.7 32gb version to buy for a reasonable price -- not like over $600 from Amazon.
Anyone knows where to get it in the USA?
Presently Verizon is selling the 16gb version for $399. I need 32gb because 16gb will run out of space after I am done with all my files/apps. I know you can put a microSD card in but most of my apps can't install/go to microSD. So I am restricted to 32gb version otherwise I would have taken the Verizon wireless version.
Pretty sure the 32gb version never saw the light of day.

P6810 in 32gb was/is available in Australia. I still see it on Ebay (Australia) but the sellers will not ship to USA.

It saw the light of day, I got mine from http://negrielectronics.com about 4 months back. It is not listed now but if you look hard enough you can find one.
Root and install Directory bind, buy a 64gb card, map game/app data to sd with Directory bind. You will have plenty of room.

[Q] 32 GB 3G version?

Anyone have any idea if/when this will be available in the UK or Europe?
If there's good reason to think it will be out soon I will hold off purchasing the note 10.1 for now....
Thanks
Can't say about the UK but over here in Oz they're as rare as hens teeth... Only found the 32gb 3g version at JB Hifi... and now its not advertised on their site anymore..... Oh yeah, cost $850Aud too which is really up there in price....

Probably be cheaper buying a 16 gig version then buying a 32 gig card from amazon.

On Thursday I finally got notification that the 32 Gb wiFi version was now available in Holland, so perhaps the 3G version will not be too far behind in Europe/the UK.
I bought a WiFi version from the US a few months ago and even with import costs of €100 it was good value - can you pick up a 3G one from another country ?

Thanks for the responses....There don't seem to me many available for shipping even internationally....there was one on Ebay US a few days ago but that would have set me back about £540 after all the import duties and shipping...
That would be £140 more than I could get it for in the UK with the £50 Samsung rebate.
I don't think I'd want to pay much more than £50 more for the extra 16gb, especially as i plan on sticking a 64gb card in there anyway...
I also have to decide between the grey and the white.....would definitely be going for grey if it weren't for the reports here of differing build quality between the two...

Differing build qualities, really?
I got a 32 gb from amazon uk for around £20 and 64 gig from around £40

Mate, my 32gb 3g grey note 10.1 has no faults.... I bought a 2nd for my brother and his has no faults. I bought a 16gb 3g grey one for a friend and they have no problems with build quality.... Considering the only real difference between the grey and white notes is colour then why would build quality differ?
And trust me, I have the 32gb version with a 64gb sd card. I'm running out of space... What you have you will use or lament the fact you don't have enough. Hindsight is 20/20 and you will regret not getting the larger memory...
Thanks again for the advice
Yeah, I will definitely be getting a 64GB MicroSD card. And I agree with you ultramag69 that will likely regret it if i settle for the 16gb note. However with the current purchase options (no 32GB 3G model available directly in UK) I just don't think I could justify spending £140 on 16GB of storage.

I totally agree that this sounds ridiculous. I'm still sceptical even after reading this thread. It's not exactly a scientific sampling however it does give pause for thought regarding the models available in the UK at least.

Oppo one plus one

Anyone can tell me what will be the price of the phone? And when it will be releasing in India?
Sent from my C2305 using XDA Free mobile app
The price of the phone is well-documented. $299 for the 16GB version, $349 for the 64GB version (USD).
Unfortunately, India is not on the list of countries this phone will be released to (at this time). No idea why. You'd think a market of 1.2 billion people would be something they'd be interested in. Of course, there will always be other ways to get the phone in India, but it'll inevitably cost more. No idea about compatibility though...

Pretty dumb for them to not sell to India then.
Of course, they don't seem to be selling to anyone else either, yet.
